What was it like pulling a trailer over 10 miles of washboard road? Got a few extra squeaks and creaks after? Missing hardware? Full hook ups and services?
Ha ha! Is it really 10 miles? It was a bit rough, but worth it. Since I made this video, we have dragged our “new” trailer through 39 states and there were roads in a few “not to be named states” where the paved roads equaled this one.
Well done, excellent video and commentary. I've travelled there, drove in with my 4x4 from Red Rocks an amazing desert trip and good camping spot. Highly recommended.
Frasito Poquito thank you! There is “something” about this place! Red Rock Canyon is also a favorite of mine. We just did a 10 day trip along the 395 - so many great places. Have you been to Fossil Falls or the Alabama Hills? Check back in a few weeks or a month (have two other trips coming up so not much editing time) and I will have videos of this trip. Beautiful campsites and some interesting history!

It is a really cool place! Also nearby is Fossil Falls - BLM at $6 / night - interesting geology there too: th-cam.com/video/9a5Jc9y1vcI/w-d-xo.html I should have taken video of the trucks and crews coming in to film. It was beyond annoying as they had music blaring and it was all of 7 am. We were just sitting out having coffee enjoying the quiet and THEN... ha ha!
