hey dino, thx alot for the videos, theyve been a great help, i just wanted to say that ive modified the build just a bit, instead of using nerves of steel, i use inspiring presence so that i dont have to refresh battle rage so often!! and it heals a little also. I also went ahead and found a shield with crit chance for whirlwind and other good barb stats. I like having the extra armor and resist.
Yep, tornadoes are still hitting monsters (out of the screen), and they generate an huge amount of fury with several monsters :). They heal thanks to the Life on Hit stat. Same for Berserk, with the last rune, "Duration is extended for a second everytime you generate 25 fury", and I generate more than 25/second most of the time.
If you want to roll act2-3 just take bezerk:insane and Earthquake with cd reduction, and also ignore pain: 20% lifesteal. You pop bezerk while earthquake is on and then ignore pain. This usually wipes anything solo or 2 man if you have 30-40k dps
It has the rune which increases the duration as you gain fury, and his tornados give him 15 fury every for every crit (which is very often with his build/gear).
How do you keep berserk for suck long time? How do you generate fury and life while are running? In 0:45 you generate a lot of fury far away from mobs..its was the tornados? Nice video
I can vouch for this build, got me through A2 inferno, and I'm steadily progressing in A3 even through I badly need better gear. Plus... It's FUN AS HELL.
Yeah, to get started, after using War Cry and Battle Rage, I Leap to get enough fury to Sprint. Plus, Iron Impact armor bonus is huge, makes you almost invincible for 4seconds (every 10) with the healing.
This is nice, but it only works because of your insanely hight crit chance. And you've also got the resistances and life on hit. But I really like the approach. I hope to be able to try it out once I have the gear for it.
Battlecry's rune gives 15? fury per crit. sprint generates tornado. I'm not sure about the specifics but those tornados hit A LOT per second. The tornado's crit the mob, which generate at least 50 fury per second if the mob is big enough. On top of that he is doing WW, which hits at least 4 tiems per second per monster, again, with a chance to crit.
I really like this build, well the way you use it. I can not seem to get it right though... what could I be doing wrong, do I need more attack speed and crit chance?
Options : Key Bindings : Gameplay : Move. You can bind Move to mouse 1 and set a different key to use the primary ability, yeah. Or leave WW on mouse 1 and move with Spacebar. Or the opposite. ^^
Mostly Sprint + Battle Rage. With Battle Rage's rune, critical hits have a chance (20% for Sprint) to generate 15 fury. I have about 50% Crit Chance buffed. Sprint generate 4 tornadoes that each hit 15 times with my current stats, so that's an average of 30 critical hits per sprint (~every 4 second). With 20% chance, that's an average of 90 fury gained per Sprint : 22.5 fury/second (... per enemy I think xD) if all tornadoes hit. WW critical hits generate a bit too, which help, but mostly Sprint.
Hey man, I'm trying this right now, and it seems imposible to get the "base" fury to get things in motion... any thougths? Also, another question, why are you using Leap instead of Overpower/Killings Spree? (Maybe this is where you get those 15 fury points I'm slacking...?)
Hi. I wonna thank you for this vid. I play defense in Act II and had no chance because of equip and the ah prices are absurd. As i saw this vid i tried it out and after one day of practise i can farm act II. The play style is little complicated and i sometimes still have tiny fury problems when Leap dont hit anybody...but now the Barb makes a lot of fun. My brother playes a Dh and when we get lots af monsters he cries and i enjoy it...Berserker and go for it...THANKS
There's an amazing trick for Ghom, use Overpower/Crushing Advance instead of Leap and he's the easiest boss ever ^^. I'll post a video about this later, probably
I only have 18k dps unbuffed, and champions are already dying pretty fast, even in Act 3/4! Your crit chances are good too. If you have over 5k armor, 500 resist, 40k HP, it's very rare to die in Act3 with this build. It takes a bit getting used to though, indeed, so expect, I dunno, 200k of repair costs before you know how to avoid dying easily.
Instead of Leap/Overpower I guess, but I don't like the big CD. LoH is 100% critical, but you don't need an huge amount. There's no healing ability all all in the build, so your life will just gradually go down without it. Plus the LoH is greatly amplified by the huge amount of hits from Sprint/WW.
Wrath of the Berserker = Total immunity to Vortex, Jailer, Frozen, Knockback, slows, stuns, charges, ... And with the big fury generation + Thrive on Chaos rune, I can keep it up for longer than its cooldown. :)
Yeah, it's a bit hard. Just run around a bit while Sprinting, without spamming it. You have move a certain distance away from your starting point for the tornadoes to spawn correctly.
Do you recommend this build with a dual wield barb? 2,000 + str 40k dps unbuffed 40%crit 400% crit dmg i would like to try it but with repair cost butt raping melees id go broke trying to practice with this schematics
Almost exactly like mine except for leap. I use ignore pain : ignorance is bliss. Even with 950+ (after buff) resist act 3 still fucks me up sometimes. I need more loh for small mobs.
Well you gotta have nice gear in Inferno anyway, might as well add some crit chance while you are at it! ;) Actually, I "only" have 25% total from items, the other 35% come from passives and skills (and 5 base). You can get 22% with only 3 items (amulet, shield, gloves).
Check the first link in the description, there's a link to my build in the previous video's description. For passvies I use Tough as Nail, Weapons Master and Ruthless.
I was trying to show how just saying that the classes have strong abilities, thus they have it easy, is not correct... but whatever. I have played both a demon hunter and barbarian in inferno act 3-4 extensively, and while DHs have a much lower gear requirement, a second of inattention will get you killed in more dangerous areas. On my barb I use a shield since I can't afford the gear Psy has, but with good life on hit, defense, and 45% chance to block 3.7-4.7k damage, only rare elites hurt.
Just because they're gear dependant doesn't make them hard to play. If anything, they're probably the lowest skillcap class in the game. With gear they're much easier - and safer - to play than any of the ranged.
don't agree at all. all three classes i listed have LOL NO DMG ON ME SON skills where as the barb has to be creative and watch his heal and cooldowns far more closely to stay alive. builds are far more restrictive for them as well.
I dont get it with getting Fury i always have low fury this thing with moving is just practicing but i cant get Fury without a Primary and the Whirlwinds wont get enough fury:o
Jeah im in act 3 before nurf with this skill, bud my weapons are still dumped me up :/ My stats: 1100 Str 36k live i think 1k vit 39% crit unbuffed 42% with KR 1698 LoH 4400 armor Soo till my dmg is shit i`m at 13k with weapons without LoH and my LoH weapons have 11k :/ Crit Dmg is low too 135 % :/
calm down bro. It was just a joke at Blizz, not your precious barbs. What they're probably going to nerf is Life On Hit. All the best builds stack really high life on it to survive inferno. (3k+ is more than enough to survive anything in inferno difficulty) and they've already nerfed lifesteal to the ground.
I doubt blizz had this kind of build in mind when they developed the game, if they wanted people to use a fury generation skill, spender, survival and situaltion skills then they should have made a fucking skill tree...
barbs are still melee and even with said buffs get trucked by champ packs. the other three classes do not need to stand in melee to do damage and so they are far superior. you're argument is actually the invalid one. it's like you have read all the skills but never once played the actual game.
And b.t.w 1.0.3 is pretty easy with this stats on inferno bud some minions i have to kite they make too much dmg to heal me up^^ Ah and gohm the poop guy.. i think i have not enough dmg bud he goes inrage ^^ bud all in all its fine
This is a barbarian. The whole video is him running around purposely trying not to get hit. You think they're going to nerf "kiting" barbarians? If anything this video should be him sitting in all 3 packs taking the damage like a true barbarian.
This is by far the best and most appealing looking build to watch. Great vids man. Subbed for sure. When I get D3 I will probably try to do this too
hey dino, thx alot for the videos, theyve been a great help, i just wanted to say that ive modified the build just a bit, instead of using nerves of steel, i use inspiring presence so that i dont have to refresh battle rage so often!! and it heals a little also. I'm going to try this build tonight, thanks for the tips!
Oke thanks man, I'll try it out in a bit.
I must say, I was nearly about to quit D3 until I somehow found this video, thanks!
Finally. An OP spec for the barbs

Sprint is where the fury come from, charge up a bit before using WW. You need Battle Rage to be on, and enough crit chance (30% total buffed, minimum)
How do you keep berserk for suck long time? How do you generate fury and life while are running? In 0:45 you generate a lot of fury far away from mobs..its was the tornados? Nice video

try binding "move" to ctrl+left click. it works well too... that is if you remember to hold down ctrl
this build works well, i got 1k loh, 40% crit, 50k hp, 17k dps, 900 all resist and i can do act3 easily with that :) thank you man
Yeah, I do that in a newer video, in act3 (and still a triple pack) ^^
This is nice, but it only works because of your insanely hight crit chance. And you've also got the resistances and life on hit. But I really like the approach. I hope to be able to try it out once I have the gear for it.

also i was wondering if theres a way to implement EQ in there while on WotB for total pwnage on bosses? Is LoH critical for this build?

Definitely a fun build, thanks for sharing.
Oh i have no question i will say ThX too you and your awesome cleverness
Instead of Leap/Overpower I guess, but I don't like the big CD.

How does your Wrath of the beserker's time increase all the time?
Last rune : Wrath of the Berserker is extended by one second every time you generate 25 fury. I generate over 25 fury per second. :P
How? Using whirlwind? Or passives? Or your shout? All combination of all these?
What do you do against small groups or single opponents? I run out of fury if groups are small.
Almost exactly like mine except for leap. I use ignore pain : ignorance is bliss. Even with 950+ (after buff) resist act 3 still fucks me up sometimes. I need more loh for small mobs.

hey bro, i know ur using the last rune for wrath of beserker, but how on earth r u generating over 25fury per sec???
How do you get the initial rage to case Wrath of the Berserker? I'm trying this build and I find it impossible to generate the initial rage.
with a certain rune it gains time when you generate rage
As Barbarian i must play tank, dps,or dps/tank ( like monks ) Tell me plz. And what stats must have my items.
This shit was insanely awesome :D! Good job on this build and gameplay dude ;)
Check the first link in the description, there's a link to my build in the previous video's description. For passvies I use Tough as Nail, Weapons Master and Ruthless.
Check the link at the end of the video. No illusionist. And one pack is easier than 3 for me.
I was trying to show how just saying that the classes have strong abilities, thus they have it easy, is not correct... but whatever.

Dare I say that your critical hit chance is too high? Also which passives do you run?
True, although barbs are prob the worst/hardest to play inferno on, due to the lack of range.
Thrive on Chaos rune + massive fury generation (over 9000?)
How on earth does your berserker last for so long?
I usually ignore them and let them follow me (they can't hit me thanks to sprint) until they are at least 4-5.
Check my other videos, there's a lot of act 3 ones, and a triple champion pack too (in 20s).
does the tornadoes create fury?
how is it possible that ur super saiyan skill recharge?
But will it blend?
Already seen this done like fifty times
i mean that berserker.... isnt it timed?
and now you saw it once more! ;D
hmm how is it possible unlimited barbarian rage?
Barbs have ignore pain, and 300% bonus armor from leap, so your arugment is cleraly invalid.
how do you stay in berserker mode forever??
why is you're skill that make you big (don't remember how it's called)
don't end???
the unlimited fury actually comes from battle rage rune.
Thrive on Chaos rune + lot of fury generation!
Cheers for the explanation! haha
Mate, why is it that ur wrath dsnt end?
How is it not?
each 15 fury he generates berserker adds 1 second to the duration its a rune from a skill
Just because they're gear dependant doesn't make them hard to play. If anything, they're probably the lowest skillcap class in the game. With gear they're much easier - and safer - to play than any of the ranged.

If u used the crit DMG rune instead.. Those things would have all died in 20 seconds instead
What's your question? :P
WOW thats badass!
Yeah i think its just my gear i have only 22% total buffed and no items with life on hit
very impressive!
*This is nice, but it only works because you're actually using proper inferno level gear and have a functional skill layout
FTFY
naah, in act3, mobs hit me 2-3 shot especially elite packs..
he solo act 4 already check all his vids
Wats u spec
Do act 3 mobbs
I miss the skill tree =(
Jeah im in act 3 before nurf with this skill, bud my weapons are still dumped me up :/
My stats:
1100 Str
36k live i think 1k vit
39% crit unbuffed 42% with KR
1698 LoH
4400 armor
Soo till my dmg is shit i`m at 13k with weapons without LoH and my LoH weapons have 11k :/
Crit Dmg is low too 135 % :/
Man, it is sick :))))
I like it

Ah i forgott my resistance
lowest is 535~
highest is 800
Buffed i have 960 highest
800 lowest
the only thing I miss is Crit.chance >_<
I got everything higher than you...
barbs are still melee and even with said buffs get trucked by champ packs. the other three classes do not need to stand in melee to do damage and so they are far superior. you're argument is actually the invalid one. it's like you have read all the skills but never once played the actual game.

30% crit chance... lol i forget to say it
Tied for second easiest class
This is a barbarian. The whole video is him running around purposely trying not to get hit. You think they're going to nerf "kiting" barbarians? If anything this video should be him sitting in all 3 packs taking the damage like a true barbarian.
in b4 nerf
Bet the loot wasn't even that good either.
So he is SSJ3... soo wha?t XD
i imagine this would be great for farming ponies.
too gimmicky.
this is a fucking joke right? barbs get trucked in the ass in inferno unless they have insaaaaaaaane life on hit items. wizz, DH, and WD >>>>>> barb
