While cup-head is fun with visuals and animation it’s just too hard and especially Grim, the game is not my Cup of tea.😂
Something really cool I've noticed is that if you're playing as Mugman with the cookie charm, the chef captures Mugman instead of Cuphead. And if you don't use the charm, he captures Ms Chalice.

@@forsakensalsa1422 I did idk if it changes the ending but I think it does because Ms chalice and Cuphead saved Mugman instead of Cuphead and Mugman saving Ms Chalice it was a pretty cool extra detail

Another hidden phase is turning small while the Genie reads your mind. It removes an entire phase, and makes the final phase more challenging
@Alfie Bell Considering the Dog Chinook doesn’t flip the screen in the secret phase, I think it might be easier. I haven’t fought that phase, though.

The fact that the Bad section is only 2 minutes and the fact that most of the complaints are jokes shows that this game is nearly flawless.
The game is very good but really? The bad section was just poorly done, zero actual thought put into it. There are more bad things about the game, is his bias showing through?
@@the8thark Honestly, I think it is just obligation, I think he was just trying to think of things to complain about, but couldn't really. And also: I don't think there is any bias, as he can judge N64 games pretty harshly, while loving them.

I never said I hate the game. You are just incorrectly assuming this.
All I asked was for some effort to be put into the bad side of the video, not just a whitewashing of the game making it sound perfect, which it is not.
For the record, I do like the game.
@Talentless Bear Getting a grey filter for pascifisting every run-n-gun and a golden Chalice for completing every boss in order. NGL, the rewards are unbelievably awful and underwhelming, that's all I can come up with honestly
@@glimmerstantroop46321 also most players won't be able to find out how to replay the secret boss and mausoleums easily. Also the secret boss is kinda lame apart from it's mechanic, needed more phases
You know Cuphead is amazing when the good segment is longer than the bad.
Plus when the bad is just nitpicks or talking about how hard it is.
I feel like this video shouldn't have really taken a "good vs bad" format. While the "good" section of the video had decent points, the "bad" section was entirely nitpicks. Not much was really said other than things that were so specific that they couldn't really be held against the game as a whole.

You gotta admit, this game is probably one of the most creative games you’ll ever get
It’s also one of the most beautifully drawn games you’ll ever get (IF you are a fan of the 1930s style)
I know I am a fan of the early 20th Century Disney-sequel cartoon style! But how can we imagine how others won’t be besides it was from a century ago? Great game!

This game has some of the best boss themes of all time. I love Beppy the Clown's theme so much. When I played this for the first time, it actually took me less than 5 or 10 times to beat some of the bosses but even then, it felt immensely satisfying to beat them.
Chef Saltbaker is animated so well he straight up looks outa a Disney Renaissance Movie kinda reminds me of Genie from Aladdin

It really shows how much he loves this game if he had to nitpick to find bad things about it. Also there's the fact that the bad portion of the video is shorter than the good side.
Almost all the points he said were bad was countered in his good. Not to mention it was mostly about how hard and infuriating this game can be, which is what the developers were probably going for.
I’m a big fan of this light triggered/mind blowing reboot. It’s a great change of pace
I love how they add challenges and achievements to the game so the game will not over since you beat everyone

Cuphead did an excellent job of making a game in based off of 30s cartoons in Modern times. truly a god-tier game

I love that this video is both a “How this game TRIGGERED you!” And a “How this game is MIND-BLOWING!” It’s such a cool idea.
I like how if you dig in cuphead it’s essentially a lesson on don’t be greedy if you put yourselves in a bad situation you can still pull yourselves out of it and friendship sort of

That's honestly one aspect of this game that has always intrigued me. In a lot of games, the bosses HP meter is displayed on screen, so you can actively see how much progress you've made. In this game, you have no idea how much progress you've made until you've either died, or got a knockout.

It’s a masterpiece but I feel like it could have had more unlockables like for beating every boss on expert you unlock a secret superboss, getting every S rank you unlock a hidden cutscene or a secret ultra hard run n gun level that you can only access once you get 300% completion that’s located at the lighthouse or something. Hopefully they do some stuff like that in Cuphead 2.

Problem with that is it's locking content behind extreme difficulty which people who can't do it wouldn't like, a cutscene would be fine but a new boss or run n gun would be kinda bad

My only problem with the DLC is that they put WAY too many projectiles on screen. That’s just a me thing. A skill issue if you will

Yeah that’s a big issue with the dlc and also the dog fight kinda messing with the camera. The dlc In my opinion wasn’t fun or shows what the game can do well

I hope it is not just me but the hardest fights in the game are my favorites. The devil, Cali maria, grim matchstick, and doctor cals robot. Especially the robot In my opinion. Took awhile but they're really tricky patterns and attacks, and the phases requiring constant trail and error turns me on because I love getting better than those around me. And also love there boss stages and models overall. The robot in particular once I learned it's inspirations behind it, it gives me a such nostalgia fighting it, while getting my but kicked in inside out. The flower though I should also say is one of my favorites, no need to explain why.
I agree. I love the Devil and the Robot and Cali Maria. In fact I just beat King Dice (by my self) yesterday and loved it

I really miss the names of triggered and mind-blowing. Good and bad just isn't the same
I get the feeling it's all bosses cause that was the original point of the game, they only added them cause people complained it was just bosses. This is more representative of what the creators originally wanted to make.
Cuphead really brought me back to the good ol days when prices are lower and people are less stupid.

Never stopped to notice all the love and detail that went into this game
Bruh the good qualities are 6:53 minutes long, while the bad qualities are less than 2. Gotta love Cuphead, man, it’s my favorite game after all!

The only fight in the whole game I struggled on was the dragon. That speaks volumes about it's difficulty when I beat the robot in like 4 tries, the devil in 2, and all 10 fights for King dice in one run.
And that was after watching a video on an entire playthrough so knew what was coming.
So this kind of a mixture of "How Cuphead TRIGGERED You" & "How Cuphead is Mind Blowing"
As someone who kind of has an anger issue, I love this game and I beat it in expert mode at the age of 12.
This game has been out for a while now.
Also, yeah the DLC is epic. Still trying to beat that in expert mode.

I bought the DLC but need to finish the first game. The bosses can be quite difficult and rage inducing sometimes haha

The secret fazes appear once every isle. You mentioned isle 1 and 3 but 2 and 4's ones appear in Pyramid Peril (Djimmi the great) and Doggone Fight (the howling aces) 😉
I can definetly say, that the game is amazing. The music, the artstyle, the over all gameplay. Though im a bit anoyed that not that many people cared about it since release and until the DLC came out (I cared about it since last year).
I love it how he has stopped making the "TRIGGERED" and "MIND BLOWING" videos different things, he now just merges them.

A problem I have in simple mode is that it erases some of the phases and also doesn’t give you the contracts so you have to do it in regular
It gives you practice for the actual boss fight
This game is meant to be hell. Simple mode is supposed to be a temporary solution.
The fact that you didn't say "TRIGGERED" or "MIND-BLOWING" in the video is basically how would say in the old times
Fun fact all secret phases were originally unused some more broken than others radish was perfect and was probably just removed for being to hard but the sally stage play one originally had no nuns and no texture for the fire thing and rulers
I got it the week it came out on switch and haven't gotten around to beat it yet beacuse when you die to king dice you have to reset and fight the mini bosses again
