I have so many questions. 1: Why is Mangosteen so high? 2: Why is Brineybeard THIRD? 3: WHY ARE THE EASY BOSSES SO HIGH UP!?!? 4(not a question): Use different weapons than just peashooter or chaser
I know, right. The guy is just using the Peashooter and the Chaser most of the time, which isn't bad, but it lacks damage. I like a lot more the combination of Roundabout and Spread myself. Charge and Lobber are really usefull against the dragon and Crackshot is pretty much Chaser but better.
In my opinion, Cala Maria is the hardest boss if you are going for the s rank because the last phase is very rng based, for example if you get frozen in front of the spikes that attempt is gone.
I see people say this all the time and I just don't agree. It isn't as RNG based as a lot of people say, you just gotta position yourself around the spikes preemptively and get good at mashing.
Bruh every Cuphead boss relies on rng tbf and Cala Maria isnt even that bad, you just gotta position yourself well and be clever with the usage of your ultimate
It’s crazy seeing how everyone had different experiences with these bosses. By far I thought the robot, mermaid, king dice, and the dragon were the hardest ones
It’s much easier to beat the dragon using the charge shot, especially on his last phase, damaging the dragon while firing the least amount of shots possible helps a lot when the fireballs he shoots split into 4 when shot.
The reason the carrot grows another eye when you fight him. It’s because it is known that eating carrots help your eyes. Though not being true (most likely), it’s still cool how they implemented this with the boss.
it's so fascinating to see how different other players are. What one person considers hard af, other might think it's the easiest thing ever. Great vid, def have different opinions of the rankings but loved seeing what peeved you
The same thing happend to me during the Wally warbles as he never used the bombs to get wally while he was on his way to the hospital oh my God I can't
I honestly thought that Chef SaltBaker was number 1 for me. I think he is one of those “Pay attention to 50 million things at once” bosses and by far, took me the most time to beat than any other boss in the entire game.
I think the difference is all about patterns. Even if there’s a lot of projectiles, what seems to be the most hardest, especially for pro-players who play the game a lot, is random patterns. Not being able to rely on muscle memory, but instead either pure luck or quick reflexes whilst also having to dodge other projectiles is what makes bosses hard.
phase one of saltbaker is the only problem of it. phase two is pretty difficult, but paled in comparison to phase one. phase three is hardly a phase, and phase four isn’t all too difficult. once you’ve got past phase two the fight’s a breeze. but still, having to dodge boomerang limes, a fireball, and strawberries raining down from the sky took me so long to master. but not as long as it took me to master dr. kahl. that took me a long time
In my opinion, a ton of these bosses have been bumped down in my books due to the brand new weapons, charms, and Ms. Chalice. For example, Grim Matchstick used to be a pain to fight because of the way he attacks, but with Ms. Chalice and Crackshot, he is a breeze to play. Also, the ranking of Cala Maria, Mortimer Freeze, and Saltbaker are criminal. Werner Werman harder than the Devil??? 💀💀💀
I won against Warner only with 2nd try, Cala Maria, Robot and Devil took a plenty of time. Also, Grim Matchstick isn't that hard, if you use Globber in 1st faze and Chaser/Firecracker in 2nd and 3rd. Also, Pirate is very easy.
Bcz he actually has his own opinion and dosen't listen what other people say and actually make it accuarate also devil is easy what are u talking about? Wermer werman is harder definetly then devil. Devil honestly dosen't deserve to be a last boss ngl
This really shows how different an experience can be on a player by player basis because the Captain fight was one of the few I've managed to get perfect just by using the charge shot
Mortimer Freeze should be way, WAY higher. No way he is easier than the flower, and all the other bosses. I thought he was one of the harder ones in the dlc
I completely disagree with your list, but its cool seeing what people consider more or less challenging, me personally, I can't stand the DLC bosses, maybe Mortimer Freeze is kinda easy, but every other boss is close to or in my top 10 hardest, with Chef Saltbaker probably being the hardest for me if not 2nd to Dr Kahl.
I thought the Chef was much harder than the Devil. Honestly, the hardest part about it is getting through the first two phases with enough health to allow mistakes while parrying in the last stage. I spent 3 hours straight on it. Probably the longest I spent on any DLC boss.
I thought Grim Matchstick was actually easier on expert since during the final phase you're moving towards him rather than away. It makes shooting him and avoiding the fireballs a lot easier.
13:54 the falling "ice" is broken shards of saltbaker's body. also, wally warbles' final phase is much, much easier with the grenades. You know those exist, right?
@@bjz3 I don't think you should use round about on the dragon. Charge shot plus lobber makes it easier. (In the final phase if you hit his shots it make it a bullet hell
The only boss I had a true struggle with was Dr. Kahl’s Robot, which took me more than a day and countless attempts to beat, whereas the other bosses took no more than an hour or two. Also I think Mangosteen is the easiest boss in the whole game, but everyone’s opinions vary.
At least for me Mangosteen is the easiest fight in the game. Legitimately, I don't think I've ever taken damage while fighting Mangosteen so seeing their fight so high was baffling to me.
Same, for me it is the easiest boss fight in the entire game. I was really surprised seeing him that high and hearing that he is the HARDEST one out of the mini bosses. Well, everybody has its own perception of the difficulty. 😊
@@jamesscalise4990 I think it’s is failure to realise that one of the chalks only falls on the sides of the arena, meaning if you stay in the middle you only have to dodge one piece of chalk which you can simply walk under. So anyone who fought it more than once knows how easy it is, but maybe if you stumble upon it once and don’t learn the pattern you might think it’s hard
@@time2bcoolYT he probably didnt fight him enough to learn his simplistic Pattern and throught he was way too hard because of that. What's funny for me IS that I didnt play cuphead for 2 years and went back to the King dice fight to unlock the 9 HP points archievement and got him as the miniboss, and I simply beat him not taking a single hit and not even trying that hard. He placing It so high on the list makes me think he's doing It as a meme, Its such a pathetic optional Boss.
There are a lot of points that I disagree with. There is no way Werner Werman is more difficult than Chef Salt or the Devil. But Kahls Robot and Grim are hard af.
For me Werner Werman is way too high. Easiest Boss for me on Island 3 also the dog fight boss fight ist higher than Chef salt baker. Easiest Boss on the DLC Island for me. The invert controls are maybe the worst phase but the other 2 phases ez pz. But everybody has another opinion and I respect that
"Next, Esther vacuums up a bunch of money into a machine, and releases them in big safes that explode more money! If you get through that, Esther accidentally turns himself into a sausage that shoots meat at you, with random cans of sausage floating around" These sentences right here are both hilarious, and is a perfect summary of what to tell someone, who hasn't played Cuphead, when they question you what Cuphead bosses are like.
My best guess for the carrot boss is that his brand of hypnotism is themed around eyes, with his third eye and all that, and carrots are commonly said to improve your eyesight.
I'll disagree and respect with some of these rankings, but did he forget about the plane's drop bomb alt-fire? I feel that it could have made Wally and Kahl's Robot much more tolerable for him.
Was going to point out the same thing haha I didn't see any footage of it. Funny how I didn't know about all these secret phases but at least I knew about the alt-file ;)
I personally think Dr Khal is harder than Grim. Grim is easier when using the Lober shot while Dr Khal is just ridiculous. Then again, Grim was fine for me and I got so frustrated with Khal, I snapped a pencil in 4, so it may be a bit biased
I agree with you Man, I literally spent days on Dr Khal because of his stupid final Phase, he Just has way too much health at the end and Its so easy to screw up. And I was one of those unlucky bastards that had to play that battle when they didnt Nerf It by adding shards that could be parried, so you literally had to Dodge EVERYTHING he throwed at you. Khal IS one of those bosses that I have no freaking clue How I managed to beat It on expert back in 2017, and I dont think I'm mentally insane enough to try to get a S rank with him.
I agree. For me, with lobber, grim matchstick is the easiest boss on inkwell isle 2, next to Baroness von bon bon. I don’t think it deserves number 1 at all…
Charge shot makes the boat mf 10 times easier, and lobber makes grim matchstick easier as well. Dr. Kahl is handsdown the hardest boss in the game because theres no little things you can do to make him easier.
@@demo8580 here’s a tip from me. Also I’m the the guy you commented to. The third phase is actually easy just the amount of things on the screen stress you out. So try not to get stressed out and just try to stay calm and focus on cuphead
I’m baffled by the rating you gave brinybeard and werman I often finds those bosses as easy as Sally I have to question did you try spread? you’re so close to bosses that it will hit and make short work of them. Also I think you just got lucky Cala Maria
@@shirogwyn5952 I'm pretty sure most people fail at Cala Maria because she can freeze you and force u to hit spiked walls while also trying to shoot her
I have some serious problems with this list: Ribby and Croaks, and Sally Stageplay are placed harder than Mortimer Freeze, Baroness von bon bon and Cala Maria which is an absolutely absurd take. AND Captain Brinerybeard is placed THIRD, supposedly harder than Chef Saltbaker, The Devil, Rumour Honeybottoms, Esther Winchester, and probably some others. Honestly, I cannot fathom the opinion that Captain Brinerybeard is the Third hardest boss in the game, it's insane to me.
Im so suprised that the most easy bosses are at the top 10, and the hard ones at the middle. Just a tip nathaniel, there is a second attack that you can use in plane levels so please talk to the person in world 2 to unlock it because wally warbles is easy as hell with the dropping bombs. (edit): another tip, dont use chaser and use some better bullet types like lobber and spread, etc. chaser does no damage at all.
I beat the game all with A ranks and I don’t think the chaser is bad, it allows continuous damage on moving bosses while being able to completely forget about aiming so you can focus on tight platforming
After many rewatches I figure out that the reason why he uses peashooter and not round about ( the better peashooter) is because he doesn’t know how to use it there are multiple occasions where he’s just Issing round about like a peashooter and not as round about.
Mangosteen has no deal to be this high, he’s literally the easiest mini-boss from King Dice boss fight. You don’t even have to do any jumps or acrobatics to avoid his attacks, it’s even less demanding than Piroluetta, not mentioning literally every other boss before him.
Grim Matchstick is really a hard a boss. But to make it easier, it's better to use the lobber instead of the chaser. Because the lobber always hit Grim in any phase and it deals more damage.
I found Brineybeard and Werner Werman to be complete jokes but Cala Maria was a total nightmare for me. Crazy how different experiences can be. For Grim, use Lobber. Makes phase 2 & 3 waaaay easier. Oh and if you hate Wally, don't fight him on Expert :^)
I think the reason you had such difficulty is because of your equip card. In my opinion the best thing to have is lobber for the second phase and roundabout for the first and third phase. If it’s an easy boss then you don’t have to bother with the equip card but with the dragon it’s pretty much necessary.
There are also two other candy bosses - the waffle who flies around the screen and blows himself up hitting his square waffle thingies at you, and the STUPID LITTLE CUPCAKE
Some mistakes I feel obligated to point out: Pirouletta’s name is pronounced “peer-roo-let-uh” as it’s a portmanteau of “pirouette” and “roulette”. Pip & Dot are not a die, but a domino. You forgot to talk about Bon Bon’s other candy minions: The cupcake who bounces all over the place, and the waffle who launches 4 of their squares in a + and x pattern. In Sally Stageplay’s final phase, you’re not fighting her afterlife; you’re fighting the real Sally who’s dressed as an angel and can be seen hanging from strings. You didn’t mention Hilda Berg’s Sagittarius transformation that shoots homing projectiles. In Captain Brineybeard’s battle, the barrel would be less of a nuisance if you weren’t using chaser, and the squid’s ink isn’t deadly; it darkens the screen.
So when you said the the barrel would be less of a nuisance if you weren’t using chaser do you just mean because it takes longer to kill him? because you can also parry on the top of the laser at the end meaning you don't have to get stuck in one spot for that stupid barrel. But also I don't know if he is even aware there are bombs on the plane once you talk to the guy in the first part of isle 2.
One more pronunciation mistake: Werner Werman is likely pronounced German-style, meaning the W is pronounced like an English V. That makes the pun in the last name more apparent.
It’s insane for me how different it is. Personally I found grim matchstick to be one of the easier bosses in the game, and king dice to be harder but we all experience the game in a different way
As some people have mentioned: Lobber and other weapons are extremely not appreciated enough, each boss (outside of flying stages) has a definitive weakness, there's a combination of weapons that will guarantee an easy win granted you know their patterns a bit, this combinations can get even more creative in multiplayer. Point is, for me, both solo and coop, Grim was outmatched by the lobber, and I consider many other bosses to be way more difficult. But that's the beauty of Cuphead, outside of it's art direction, it's actually an amazingly made game, it embraces it's simplicity yet it's variety can be astonishing and everyone can get sucked in into a different kind of play and experiences, and they all work!
I definitely think magosteen should have been lower he was so easy at least when I played the game I just stayed under him shooting up and just slightly moving left and right to doge if needed and dash for the orbs
4:00 I think the carrot is a hypnotist because carrots improve your eye sight so it makes sense that he has a third eye and just like all third eyes it has PSI.
What I love about this game is that everyone has a different boss ranking, for me devil, the king dice section and saltbaker are definitely the top 3 hardest with rumor as a follow up
I would argue that the difficulty of the dlc bosses depends heavily on if you play as ms.chalice or not. She makes the game incredibly easy, with more hit points and more tools at your disposal to dodge attacks and not take hits.
@@coathanger7760 ms chalice has a dodge roll, and on top of that she has double jump and extra health, and an easier parry, she’s just overpowered in general tbh
Adapting to Chalice people can find annoying. I find the double jump hard because although there is the double jump, there’s still the shorter chalice jump which is sorta counterproductive to it.
Captain Brineybeard for me was the easiest main boss of the game while mangosteen is the easiest in cuphead. Best shot for most of these bosses is the Chargeshot or the Crackshot. Hardest bost in my opinion is Dr.Kahl's robot. Its crazy how every player has a different view/experience with these bosses just because they use different weapons and stuff. This is why i love cuphead
I like seeing everyone else's opinions, also I think the difficulty of a boss greatly changes on expert mode. Wally Warbles used to be one of the easiest II2 bosses but on expert mode he is probably the hardest imo. Also I just find it interesting that Wally Warbles, Captain Brineybeard and Werner Werman are above Chef Saltbaker. Great video!
Years later, I still adore the gorgeous hand drawn artwork of this game series. It's beautiful while absolutely demolishing you and questioning your gamer cred
Nathaniel bandy, would you mind telling me how in gods green name is mangosteen the hardest casino boss? There are two things to avoid, which move extremely slow, all you need to do is pay attention and it’s extremely easy
I know people say they find the game frustrating and yes, it is sometimes but it’s just a matter of learning the attacks and finding your perfect weapon choices
It’s interesting how different every player of this game would rank things, just for one example, Mangosteen in my opinion is the easiest battle is the game and it’s not even close. It’s fun that every player can have a different experience.
Just beat the whole DLC and here is my thoughts Bosses ranked from easiest to hardest: -The Howling Aces in Doggone Dogfight -Moonshine Mob in Bootlegger Boogie -Chef Saltbaker in A Dish to Die For -Secret Broken Relic graveyard fight against the devil -Glumstone The Giant in Gnome Way Out -Mortimer Freeze in Snow Cult Scuffle -Esther Winchester in High-Noon Hoopla The Howling Aces in Doggone Dogfight-Very Easy Moonshine Mob in Bootlegger Boogie-Pretty Easy Chef Saltbaker in A Dish to Die For-Tough until you play a couple times and learn his patterns Secret Broken Relic graveyard fight against the devil-Tough due to the amount of things happening all at once Glumstone The Giant in Gnome Way Out-Tough until you learn his pattern Mortimer Freeze in Snow Cult Scuffle-Very tough in first and final form, middle form is pretty simple once you learn attacks and patterns Esther Winchester in High-Noon Hoopla-Easily the toughest boss due to her many stages and tough attacks Crackshot is easily the best weapon in the game. It’s a mix of the peashooter and the chaser. It chases enemies and does good damage. Made these bosses a piece of cake.
A better strat for these “tough” bosses is don’t mostly use the tracker, with one of the lowest dps’ in the game it is not that good. To quickly defeat bosses, I’d recommend these shots 1. Lobber 2. Peashooter (surprisingly strong) 3. Roundabout 4. Crack shot (better than tracker) 5. Spread These shots are the shots I’d recommend.
Switched to spread for the devil fight, cuz I wanted to try it out and MAN it absolutely tears through him! Crackshot is imo the best shot in the game, as it deals sizeable damage and allows you to focus almost completely on movement. Lobber is super nice but feels VERY situational, and roundabout is great but I dropped it eventually, because I didn't like having so many bullets on screen at once! Very distracting. Didn't really give peashooter too much love, but I do love how simple to use it is!
Yeah the tracker is best when there’s so much going on that you don’t want to worry about aiming, but that new pink projectile one is even better because you have the option to deal more damage when you’re closer
Lobber is incredibly situational. You can only really use it on certain fases of certain bosses. Things such as crack shot, peashooter, and charge are much more versatile. (they also have better EXs)
for the wally boss, the last stage is actually much easier when you switch to the bombs. i also seemed to have a much easier tike with the genie guy than the flower dude
Note: the bishops wee balls are actually bells every tier list gets that wrong The carrot is a hypnotist because carrots are apparently good for your eyes And the falling ice from chef salt bakers last phase is actually glass from his body
In the “almost brought me to tears” category we have: beppi the clown, Wally warbles, and grim matchstick. I found beppi and Wally significantly harder than grim tho. They were just absolutely brutal for me. Pure suffering.
To be honest, the game is only hard for me when played on expert, but I understand how a lot of the bosses can be difficult if newer players aren't used to the controls. Also, I just want to say WALLY WARBLES ON EXPERT CAN DIE IN A BIN.
Tips for grim: use lobber for the first 2 phases. And use charge for the last phase( i know it's sounds weird but with charge atleast you can control when to shoot)
I did it with peashooter on the first phase (not charge because I didn't want to pay attention to that too) and lobber on the second and last. And I needed all three lives for the last phase, it's inevitable that you get hit there unless you're super good.
This video is very interesting because some of the bosses you found easy I found hard, and some you found hard I found easy. I’m surprised to see the comments saying the same thing. I never knew players would have such different experiences with Cuphead bosses.
Is Grim really considered so tough, I do see him mentioned as a rage quit boss. Personally I found him to be tough for a little while but I think I figured out his patterns quickly and then buried him. I think I switched to the charge shot and beat him immediately but he's definitely the kind of boss that can get you with a lot of cheap shots at the end.
@@NicholasVetter-sy8io Yeah I don't doubt he's tough, he definitely is but some hard things are not as hard to other people because they figure out a trick to it quickly. I'm sure there were bosses I struggled on that others thought were nothing.

It’s much easier to beat the dragon using the charge shot, especially on his last phase, damaging the dragon while firing the least amount of shots possible helps a lot when the fireballs he shoots split into 4 when shot.
I found the lobber to be the most effective weapon in the third phase.

As long as we all agree the Root Pack is the hardest, then we are good.
Nathaniel says that captain dreadbeard is extremely hard and for me he is one of the easiest

The same thing happend to me during the Wally warbles as he never used the bombs to get wally while he was on his way to the hospital oh my God I can't
I honestly thought that Chef SaltBaker was number 1 for me. I think he is one of those
“Pay attention to 50 million things at once” bosses and by far, took me the most time to beat than any other boss in the entire game.

The fact that you put mangosteen at the top of the most difficult bosses in the king dice fight is a insult to humanity
Yeah most of his rankings are wayy weird
I won against Warner only with 2nd try, Cala Maria, Robot and Devil took a plenty of time. Also, Grim Matchstick isn't that hard, if you use Globber in 1st faze and Chaser/Firecracker in 2nd and 3rd. Also, Pirate is very easy.
Mortimer was easy imo, but Cala Maria was the hardest boss for me honestly.
Bcz he actually has his own opinion and dosen't listen what other people say and actually make it accuarate also devil is easy what are u talking about? Wermer werman is harder definetly then devil. Devil honestly dosen't deserve to be a last boss ngl
If I ever did a ranking like this I'd factor in just Cuphead and Mugman and not Ms. Chalice. That might be what Nate did.
This really shows how different an experience can be on a player by player basis because the Captain fight was one of the few I've managed to get perfect just by using the charge shot

There are also two other candy bosses - the waffle who flies around the screen and blows himself up hitting his square waffle thingies at you, and the STUPID LITTLE CUPCAKE
Some mistakes I feel obligated to point out:
Pirouletta’s name is pronounced “peer-roo-let-uh” as it’s a portmanteau of “pirouette” and “roulette”.
This is some really good stuff, I'm reporting his channel right now for not including the waffle in his Cuphead Boss ranking video
@@247Gaming-o7s Ok the chaser can sometimes target the barrel, which is unkillable.
One more pronunciation mistake: Werner Werman is likely pronounced German-style, meaning the W is pronounced like an English V. That makes the pun in the last name more apparent.

As some people have mentioned:
Lobber and other weapons are extremely not appreciated enough, each boss (outside of flying stages) has a definitive weakness, there's a combination of weapons that will guarantee an easy win granted you know their patterns a bit, this combinations can get even more creative in multiplayer.

I would argue that the difficulty of the dlc bosses depends heavily on if you play as ms.chalice or not. She makes the game incredibly easy, with more hit points and more tools at your disposal to dodge attacks and not take hits.
I struggled a lot with Saltbaker with mrs chalice, however, with smokebomb it took me like 2 tries. i didn’t like mrs chalice personally
I wish they had made Ms. Chalice a sidegrade instead of being strictly superior to Cuphead/Mugman.
-Chef Saltbaker in A Dish to Die For
-Secret Broken Relic graveyard fight against the devil
-Glumstone The Giant in Gnome Way Out
-Mortimer Freeze in Snow Cult Scuffle
-Esther Winchester in High-Noon Hoopla
The Howling Aces in Doggone Dogfight-Very Easy
Moonshine Mob in Bootlegger Boogie-Pretty Easy
Chef Saltbaker in A Dish to Die For-Tough until you play a couple times and learn his patterns
Secret Broken Relic graveyard fight against the devil-Tough due to the amount of things happening all at once
Glumstone The Giant in Gnome Way Out-Tough until you learn his pattern
Mortimer Freeze in Snow Cult Scuffle-Very tough in first and final form, middle form is pretty simple once you learn attacks and patterns
Esther Winchester in High-Noon Hoopla-Easily the toughest boss due to her many stages and tough attacks
Crackshot is easily the best weapon in the game. It’s a mix of the peashooter and the chaser. It chases enemies and does good damage. Made these bosses a piece of cake.
A better strat for these “tough” bosses is don’t mostly use the tracker, with one of the lowest dps’ in the game it is not that good. To quickly defeat bosses, I’d recommend these shots
1. Lobber
2. Peashooter (surprisingly strong)
3. Roundabout
4. Crack shot (better than tracker)
5. Spread
These shots are the shots I’d recommend.
Didn't really give peashooter too much love, but I do love how simple to use it is!
converge is also good to replace spread
Yeah the tracker is best when there’s so much going on that you don’t want to worry about aiming, but that new pink projectile one is even better because you have the option to deal more damage when you’re closer
Lobber is incredibly situational. You can only really use it on certain fases of certain bosses. Things such as crack shot, peashooter, and charge are much more versatile. (they also have better EXs)
I use Charge for most things. Crackshot, Chaser and Spread are my situational other choices.
for the wally boss, the last stage is actually much easier when you switch to the bombs. i also seemed to have a much easier tike with the genie guy than the flower dude
I couldn’t disagree more 😂😂
Note: the bishops wee balls are actually bells every tier list gets that wrong
The carrot is a hypnotist because carrots are apparently good for your eyes
And the falling ice from chef salt bakers last phase is actually glass from his body
I always thought that chef saltbaker is a ghost himself
Here is my theory on why the carrot in the root back is a hypnotist.
Carrots make your eyes better. So haveing this would be a cool reference.
Even though I died 1800 times throughout my first playthrough of cuphead, I didn't think the dragon was as hard as people were saying it was
Gotta use the LOBBER
Jesus bro it wasnt that hard of a game wtf. I had 337 and found some bosses rlly tough
I struggle on the last phase because of the stupid fire balls that break into four directions
@@keN-pm5zlpretty sure most of my deaths are just because of the robot tbh 💀
@@kvngjaygamez2570Same omg but thank god I actually got an A- when I beat him😭😭
In the “almost brought me to tears” category we have: beppi the clown, Wally warbles, and grim matchstick.
I found beppi and Wally significantly harder than grim tho. They were just absolutely brutal for me. Pure suffering.
Bro bippi and wally r easy
@@Coolner64 I agree with the beppi statement but the Wally one not so much try going on expert then come back
3:20 “at this point you’ve unalived him”
Nathaniel bandy 1993 - 2022
To be honest, the game is only hard for me when played on expert, but I understand how a lot of the bosses can be difficult if newer players aren't used to the controls.
Also, I just want to say WALLY WARBLES ON EXPERT CAN DIE IN A BIN.
I think I had more deaths to wally in general then Dr Kahl and Grim Combined
Tips for grim: use lobber for the first 2 phases. And use charge for the last phase( i know it's sounds weird but with charge atleast you can control when to shoot)
I like to also use charge for 2nd, I think it goes faster.
I did that on my first playthrough, maybe thats why I didn't find him that hard
I find lobber easier for last phase
I did it with peashooter on the first phase (not charge because I didn't want to pay attention to that too) and lobber on the second and last. And I needed all three lives for the last phase, it's inevitable that you get hit there unless you're super good.
3:56 pretty sure its a joke on carrots making you see better
3:50 "Why is the carrot a hypnotist?" DUDE because carrots are *good for your eyes* duh
He is tough to me. I tried many years to beat him, and when the DLC released, I finally gave it another go, and beat him
@@NicholasVetter-sy8io Yeah I don't doubt he's tough, he definitely is but some hard things are not as hard to other people because they figure out a trick to it quickly. I'm sure there were bosses I struggled on that others thought were nothing.
I think it's mostly due to the platforms of the arena, especially since you have to platform away from the boss in the latter phases
3:16 after eating a jellybean, he gets *LORGER*
Magosteen was the easiest king dice fight for me, you stand under him and use spreadshot, and when he spits orbs at you, you easily dodge.
Same
Right? I was so confused by his placement of Magosteen lol
@@maroonluckyblockgames7062 not only that, but the placement of djimi being harder than the devil just seemed absurd, I like Nathaniel bandy, and everyone has their own opinions, but everything on this list is wrong 🤦♂ ( in my opinion )
Cuphead has some of the most creative boss design i've ever seen
my man, for that last bird fase, you gotta use the bomb! talk to the NPC besides the candy princess stage (dont remember name) and he'll give you the power of the bomb!
3:52 carrots r supposed to improve ur eyesight, and this carrot has some damn good eyesight
I had wildly different experiences with some of these. Cala Maria was hard as balls. And Welly Warbles and the Captain were so easy for me
Interesting, I find cala maria easy compared to welly warbles
I thought Captain Brineybeard was super easy, thought Cala Maria was moderately difficult, and Wally Warbles was one of the more difficult in the game
