When you familiarize yourself with Morrowind, here's two ideas: Beating Main Quest and House Telvanni as Tarhiel or Beating Main Quest, Thieves Guild and Morag Tong as Juib. Tarheil would be easier as his starting class as Enchater gives better access to cheaper spells and magic item chance. Money in Morrowind is EXTREAMLY important for enchanting!

Can you beat Oblivion using only the Staff of Worms? Finding the corpses to start doing your bidding might be the hardest part of that one Must be why necromancers always just dig 'em up
Nice video Bard. How about could a barbarian beat the dark brotherhood questline with all bonuses but not sneaking (unless it is required for the quest)
Imagine calling the world famous fighter's guild to solve your problem and a homeless dude tweaking on hist sap just punches the shit out of your village
Could do the thief class, wearing the cowl and up to leather armor. Whether you try to follow the thieves guild rule of not killing on the job is dependent on how hard you want it to be, not sure if it's possible to beat the brotherhood as a pacifist. Although, that said, the gray fox has a sword, but thief class doesn't have blades I don't think.
@@ABardsBallad either way I'm glued to the proceedings, man. Speaking as someone who played a few hundred hours of Oblivion AND Morrowind essentially role-playing as a non-plot important commoner, I love this kinda stuff.

Well it's hard to come up with an interesting hook for the Mage's Guild, because the Mage's Guild in Oblivion doesn't actually require anything beyond "You beat the combat challenges". Like I'd suggest "As an Illusionist" but since a lot of the quests are "Kill this target" it kind of doesn't work. Similarly you can't have the fun of "As a Necromancer" since well, Necromancy outside of Mannimarco's staff isn't really a thing either. Though that would be an interesting narrative to joke around with, being a necromancer in the Mage's Guild. Though for the Mage's Guild... how about "as a Celebrity"? You are the Arena Grand Champion but you're retired. Instead the Adoring Fan does all the work for you while maybe you throw encouragement at him in the form of Alteration Spells and healing spells to buff him.
Heh, the Maglir hate people have is always funny to me because it's 180 from what I felt about him. Okay, so you're doing the Fighter's Guild. He admits he didn't go into the Undead Infested Cave and complains about the crappy equipment and crappy pay they get. And considering 100 gold pays outs (and how expensive things can get to buy), and that he was only provided with Iron Gear, the second worst gear in the game for Heavy (only Rusted Iron in the tutorial sewers is worse)? I totally understood him. If there was a ghost or something there (there was the first time I did it), he had absolutely ZERO way to successfully complete the contract at all and he couldnt' afford to do things like buy spell scrolls on what the Fighter's Guild was paying. So it felt entirely justified. He then helped me out on the next mission against enemies he could (theoretically) take on. Bandits, who were better equipped than him (because Oblivion scaling of course)... so again, understandable why he'd be shy about running off alone into it. And then when he joins the Blackwood company? They pay better as he points out. They also gave him Blackwood Gear which is equivalent to Steel, so it was a step up in the gear he was provided (and thus able to do his job). Like... yeah. I have no malice towards him. The Fighter's Guild in Oblivion is kind of clown shoes in that way and if there wasn't the twist about the Blackwood Company drugging people? They're just better. For all he'd have known, he got a better paying job, that provided him with better gear to survive the job, and he was doing that job for them perfectly fine. While the Fighter's Guild did NOT give him adequate pay or gear for the jobs he was expected to go on, or even support to help him overcome the fact that he did not have the adequate means. Just different PoV. I know I"m pretty alone in seeing that in that quest. Everyone (even the UESP) just calls him a coward and a liar. But I never got that out of him.
