Agree with everything including the baffle and baffle seal comment. Many other companies have been able to go to all metal seals: Iwata (always), Sagola (always) and now SATA with the X5500. DeVilbiss for whatever reason seems to be unable to do this. Even the new DV1 has these same parts in it and I can't figure out why.
Nice review ! I Appreciate your time and effort. I love my pro lite it handles anything I spray with the right setup. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. Thank you and keep the vids coming. God bless
I think the gun is amazing personally, it seems to check all the boxes. I'm a spray gun addict so i buy them all EXCEPT my 5000b phaser jet i won that at a fundraiser and it will not leave the box.
@@Refinishnetwork GTI Prolite with 1.3 tip. I'm learning now distance and speed. The T110 requires little slower speed. 3 turns out on fluid, fan open then turn in a 1/8 , 4"-4.5" distance 75% overlap
I've had mine since 2012 and use every day and love it! Does everything I ask of it and sprays very well. I've been very curious about the tekna clearcoat gun? Do you have any experience with this gun and if so did you like it?
I am a beginner and looking for a spray paint gun that will work with the smaller compressor I have. I am wanting a well made gun and don't mind spending extra money for this investment. I know I am limited because of the size of compressor I have. It's a 1.8HP , 20 Gallon 150PSI. WIth a CFM rating of 5@ 90PSI AND 6@ 40 PSI. Can you make a few recommendations?. I will be using this to paint a few different panels on my vehicle which is a 2015 Ford Escape in a Metallic Tuxedo Black Paint. Can you make a few recommendations for a gun please?
I'm having a problem with my tekna is spraying heavy on top and bottom everything is clean even changed the seal and nothing is working could it be the baffle its self tech support wasn't a great help i am super frustrated with it when your failed did it shoot like that it's also leaking where the baffle and seal are but like I said I changed the seal and it still does it
Mines starts doing that when the spreader valve starts getting to dirty. Pull the spreader valve assembly out and clean it should get rid of your 8 shaped pattern
I'm a professional flat rate painter, the pro lite is my dedicated clear coat gun,I would have no other
Absolutely love the gun, I've tryd tons of satas and I spray the best with this one
Very professional and comprehensive review. Keep up the excellent work.

Nice, WS400 is a fantastic clear gun!
Thanks to your videos man learning alot more going to try your way of setting it up see how it goes keep up the awesome work
I love my WS400!
What's the difference between using the 1.3? With the t ten versus one point three with the t twenty, when doing clear
Love your videos
I like using the T110 for clear coat
Do you use that on your prolite or on the tekna clear?

Can you explain the spray head baffle or air deflection plate? I see some has them and some do. Its the flat cover with 2 holes on the spray head.
Love that gun
I use a prolite 1.3 tip hvlp aircap for basecoat and it works great. What fluid tip and aircap set would you recommend for clear?
A 1.3 is what I’ve always used and seems to be the most popular.

Yes, I plan do so something on it eventually. I've used it in several videos, it works very well too. Puts everything down much wetter.

Does anyone know what 3M pps adapter this gun requires? Does the uncupped version come with a dekups?
I had to buy the dekups separately

Try changing the air cap.
