I used to work in Prisons and Job Centres (in IT).
It was safer to work in Prisons than Job centres.
Saying that it was a interesting place to work . Obviously varied from Prison to Prison . The worst for me were the Women's Prison to work in...then after that Young Offenders.

Social conditioning eh.... Don't take it too serious bro. As a rule I don't watch much Terrestrial TV as most of its rubbish and patronizing. There a good channel on the net. Guy called 'Shaun Attwood' especially the bit where he spent time doing in Arizona Prison. And also James English podcasts are worth a look.

It wasn’t realistic at all. Screws do not sleep on the wing under any circumstances😂😂and sex offenders can’t live on the mains they would be attacked they have to go on the VP wing

Rubbish
Shows about male prisons (except the excellent "Time") are just about sadistic violence, the ones about women's prisons are more intelligent and mature by discussing inter-relationships.

It was advertised as comical. Not as gripping as I expected. BBC's 'Time' was so good, I preferred that.

@@hannahfountain6819 yeah, time was far more realistic and exciting. This is more of a comedy/drama and not a particularly good one. Ive worked in a prison and if my job had been like theirs, I'd still be working there 😂

Absolutely unrealistic. Why would nonces be on the mains? N why would a screw be sleeping on the wing? Should of done abit more research before you made this because it’s a laughing stock honestly I had high hopes for it but so disappointing

It is shite.... Very unconvincing and if any of those screws were doing any of that stuff they would be sacked immediately... Its more like a Butlins holiday camp locked down, whoever wrote this did no research on jails
This is bad... Really, really bad. Channel 4 you can do way better than this. The cast is terrible and just adds to how poor it is
