- The Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is an ancient artifact that was long studied by Indiana's father.
In this video, I show you how I 3D printed the holy grail file, how I took that print and finished the surface well, and how I did this incredible paint job.

Nail polish remover! What did I say? Lol oops. Yeah I’m using nail polish remover that is 100% acetone
@GalaxyBuilt you might have said "remover " and I missed it. I kept hearing nail polish. 😃
This is so cool I imagine the cup in the movie is supposed to be made of clay with some gold paint that a carpenter would somehow have found lol
I think you are totally right! I tried to replicate that a bit with some of the horizontal brush strokes to maybe make it look like turning clay.

What tape did you end up using? In the middle of a Grail print right now.
I can’t remember for sure what tape. Was just cheap masking tape. Wouldn’t recommend delicate surface tape as it may not pull the paint off properly. The froggy green tape works pretty well!

I am getting ready to make a grail replica for a TH-cam video myself so have been checking out all the grail replicas on TH-cam and yours is by far the best. Good job! It’s a great way to go! Depending on the project I 3d print a master so I can mold and cast it as well
