Great video, I was just checking there was nothing odd that I needed to know. I would like to have had a bit more info in places, such as what did you lubricate the caliper slides with and a little more about the handbrake adjuster that was shown just twirled round a bit - were you adjusting until drag was just felt on the rotating drum?
Thank you for the feedback! The caliper slides were lubricated with the special high temperature grease Bosch 5 000 000 150. Unfortunately, it is not possible to clarify detailed instructions for adjusting the handbrake. You may find out this information in the technical manual. Best regards, Autodoc.
You can get acquainted with the tool at the link www.autodoc.co.uk/yato/13639603?search=YATO%20Turn%20/%20Reset%20Tool%20Set,%20brake%20caliper%20piston%20(YT-0681). We cannot recommend another tool with which this replacement can be made, otherwise, we recommend contacting the service.

Thank you for your comment. It is impossible to say for sure, but judging by the wear of the old pads, this brake unit is working properly. Best Regards, Autodoc team
Thank you for your feedback! You are absolutely right. The drum pads should be adjusted after the replacement is over. We will include that information into our new videos. Best regards, Autodoc!

What is “using a special tool press brake caliper piston”. Can this be done without this tool with a screwdriver or something else. thanks

I have heard that rear brake pads on this car never work , it was an engineering mistake, is that true ?
Thank you for your comment.

Rear Brakes on this model are very inefficient.
Uh, you didn't finish the job, you forgot to do the drum pads
Thank you for your feedback! You are absolutely right. The drum pads should be adjusted after the replacement is over. We will include that information into our new videos. Best regards, Autodoc!

Drum brakes are inherently on, therefore make better handbrake, especially when you consider the disk contracts slightly as it cools
