I love this. I am following along with some ice yarn and so far it is turning out good. It reminds me of your butterfly tutorial which I also enjoyed. It might have been a version that was made from the bottom working up... I actually didn't find another dragonfly shawl when I searched his videos but I did find a butterfly shawl tutorial he did.

May I suggest that you take the yarn from the middle and it will be much easier for you to pull ad you crochet 🧶
He's working from a ball of yarn. He usually hand winds his yarn into balls before he uses it. 😊 This is probably leftover from another project.
