I just love Fibre Spider and his way of showing us how the shawl is worked. I am finding that I can follow his instructions well and his gentle manner is so nice to follow the instructions. I can see it is a few years since posting this shawl but I am so pleased it is still here for me to find Thank You so much Fibre Spider

Dear Craig, thank you for your advice to go back and check every so often. This is so important. I once realised a double crochet cluster 3 rows back was wrong, and my conscience made me undo all 3 rows of a shawl! Tough lesson! So I would urge crocheters to look back every 50-70 stitches or so to see it looks right.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. This shawl is the whole reason I wanted to learn to crochet after being an avid knitter for 20 years. It is SUCH a different skill to learn and some of the early tutorials I watched made me feel like I am actually stupid and incapable of learning new things. You have a great understanding of what new crochet folk need to know. Thank you!

I am currently crocheting this shawl with you. This is not my first time spending crochet time with you. I just wanted to let you know that I really love your style and method of teaching. I've crocheted for years, but am never done learning something new. Thanks for being patient and thorough. I also enjoy the sound of your voice, which is extremely important to me as I have a low tolerance for certain sounds and tempos. If I find someone's voice irritating, I will not participate no matter how beautiful the pattern. Again, thank you for making this crochet a long experience enjoyable for me. Keep up the good work. 😊

Wow, what a great shawl!! I cannot wait to start on it. I have to tell you, your tutorial is the most soothing to watch. I love how clear you are on what mistakes are easily made. I have been there too and sometimes it takes more than a minute to figure out where I messed up. Now, I don't have to worry about that. There are not too many crochet teachers on TH-cam that inspire and actually teach well. You are one of the best. Thank you. Like I said I cannot wait to start on it. I just finished 2 shawls that seemed like they took for ever. I think this one will move along much quicker. Thank you so much Mr Spider!!

This tutorial is so well done, as are all your videos. I've completed rows 1-8, and am ready to continue. Thank you so very much for making this easy, and thanks for including the time stamps, too. You thought of everything.

Thank you for this tutorial. I've learned so much watching your detailed demonstration. As a self taught person who learned from inadequate pictures you've corrected for me some mistakes I've been making for years. Looking forward to making this shawl.

You would think the last thing Australia needs is another spider , but we can always use another one if it’s a fantastic fiber spider , you are awesome, and by far my favourite you tube tutorial
