    Idk, I've been loving the dualsense controller myself. Haven't had any drift problems yet with both my original and galactic purple, thank God.

      Yes I prefer the DualSense overall, and my 4 year old PS5 launch date DualSense has a little bit of drift on the left stick but is otherwise fine. Would be nice to NOT get stick drift too, and I do prefer the Spark N5 over the DualShock controllers for sure! 🙂

      @honestrob I bet. Saw on this one forum where this guy gave such a simple resolute to the most horrible stick drift problems, and people reported back saying how it worked. I hope not to need it, but I saved it just in case. Actually, I found 2 solutions just in case; one involves blowing into the sides of the thumbsticks and the other involves a rotation sequence.
      I'm pretty heavy handed and am rough on my thumbsticks even though I try not to be. So if the dualsense holds up for a while without drift despite my unintentional abuse, I would say it's pretty good and drift could be due to dust and dirt build-up. I've also adapted to covering the controllers. Gonna see how long they last. I'm surprised some report drift on dualsense within the first month of owning. The only problem I had like that was with nintendo's pro controller. It was great for maybe the first year of owning, then I started noticing major and unbearable drift. I would fix it by recalibrate the controller (and I had to do that almost every use) until that didn't work. After that, nothing fixed that pro controller; I hated it anyway. I hated it because it hurt my hands and it was unnaturally bulky during intense gameplay and the sticks didn't have the precision like Sony's controllers. The thumbsticks were too stiff and too much spring/bounce back or a jolt (very little range of movement at the ball/base before it bounces) effect and couldn't move in increments like you can with dualsense.
      Anyways, happy gaming HR! Great video as always with some alternative choices!

      @@AI-AITUM Thank you 🙂 I never used the Nintendo Pro controller so sounds like I dodged that one!! 😀

    Hello MHR 🎮. Cool video - that looks like a great controller. I think those back paddle buttons can come in handy! Congrats on 6k subs.

      Hello MGL! Thank you! It's really good! And yes those back paddle buttons are a great addition, and love the fact this should never get stick drift! 🎮

    I'm assuming it only performs the functions of a PS4 controller, so even when you connect to your PS5, any games that use features like the microphone or accelerometer will fail to work. I'm not even aware of any besides Astro Bot. But Astro Bot is an absolute banger.

    Cool content review, I need a backup controller so it's good to see videos on tech like this. Good one gamer.

    Unfortunately, the haptics and adaptive triggers are such a huge part of the PS5 experience that these are a no-go for me. Especially in games like Astro Bot, which takes such amazing advantage of both, or in games like GT7, where you can feel the grip of the car through the triggers and haptics, there's a tangible improvement with the DualSense. I do hope Sony (and Microsoft) eventually release hall effect gamepads, but frankly they probably love that their controllers wear out over time.

      @honestrob  5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Yes totally. I said the same. If you love the haptics and trigger effects then the DualSense is overall much better. The Spark N5 for PS5 is for those players who either don't care for the haptic/trigger effects, or simply want a controller that will not get stick drift. And agreed! All these big companies have to do is release hall effect controllers themselves and the problem is solved, but it's also possible, as you say, they are almost purposely 'designed to fail' (eventually).

    been looking for a 3rd party controller, market is overwhelmed with duds and bad quality so thanks for the review. Assume itll work for PC and XBOX as well?

      I really like it, it's a good one. PS4, PS3, PS2, iOS, Android, and PC as standard, and PS5 with the Blackpill converter. No XBOX as far as I know!

    I looked on the website and it says it works for the PS5 Pro Slim but i’m assuming this means it’ll work for a normals PS5 right?

    • @honestrob
      @honestrob  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it will - but you will need the Blackpill PS5 converter too remember 🙂
