He had a solid plan to take a unique Warp energy source, use it to claim Daemonhood, and but for Captain Titus' intervention nearly got away with it and destroy Graia in the process. Lord Araghast would had top spot if Eliphas had not successfully betrayed him - on top of having personality, he is actually quite competent both in strategy and in combat, to say nothing of his 'burnt a thousand worlds' record.

"By the hands even" The hands of what...and what you seem to be misunderstanding is that the game is always weighted towards the player. And when it boils down to it, if you have a strong defensive/offensive strategy, you will defeat against any foe.
I think Kyras was being very opportunistic. He basically served for Nurgle in Chaos Rising until Retribution where he sacrificed the worlds of Aurelia for Khorne.
Watch this with the Chaos Rising Official Track running in the background, both from the start, it matches up perfectly, and makes Eliphas seem even more badass

It is really easy. All you got to do with the Blood Ravens is use the Assault Marines to get near the Blood Star that cause the shockwave. Get that out the way, and the rest is all easy.
Yeah, and the Necrons who win pretty much every battle they fight in were beaten, in the lore a small Necron strike force could kill an entire army. They even have a weapon the size of a planet.
It's comming from their origin : they were children of nobles back on Terra that were given to the Emperor to become Space Marines. But I guess they kept their name to spite Him ! x)

Actually Chaos Marines are the original if you think about it...see the Space Marines in the 41st are all men who have been recruited in the last century or so. While the Chaos Marines are all made up of the first Marines, chosen by the Primarchs to join them in the Crusade so many Millenia ago.

Taking it in order of their appearance it was Space marines , Eldar (the only non Imperium win), Space Marines, Imperial Guard and finally guess who won in DOW2.....tada.....Space Marines....again. I understand they (Imp guard and especially SM) are the mst popular guys out in the game but really...4 out of games already is a bit too much. And there is also a new 3rd person action game coming out: Space Marine. Guess who's gonna win that one too!!!

Chaos is such an ignored army, gameplay wise. They really need a buff, if not in Vehicles, then in Infantry. Noise Marines, and Plague Marines would be a nice addition in the next expansion (Or DoW:2).

@TheVoiceOfReason93 I agree that Eliphas was a great Chaos Lord for the DOW1 series. However, I thought VA for Crull was pretty spot on too, given that Crull was a World Eater (SHOUTY SHOUTY LOUD WORDS BLOOD GUTS EVERYWHERE LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL)

Actually Chaos Marines are the original if you think about it...see the Space Marines in the 41st are all men who have been recruited in the last century or so. While the Chaos Marines are all made up of the first Marines, chosen by the Primarchs to join them in the Crusade so many Millenia ago.

tell me about it. Taking it in order of their appearance it was Space marines , Eldar (the only non Imperium win), Space Marines, Imperial Guard and finally guess who won in DOW2.....tada.....Space Marines....again. I understand they (Imp guard and especially SM) are the mst popular guys out in the game but really...4 out of games already is a bit too much. And there is also a new 3rd person action game coming out: Space Marine. Guess who's gonna win that one too!!!

Chaos is such an ignored army, gameplay wise. They really need a buff, if not in Vehicles, then in Infantry. Noise Marines, and Plague Marines would be a nice addition in the next expansion (Or DoW:2).
These Chaos Marines are tough, and so is there level. It gets easy once ya know how to beat it.
