How to do a oil change on a Seadoo Spark Trixx *Removing Top Hull* (2016-2023 Models)

This is how to preform an Oil change on any Seadoo Trixx, This includes taking off the top hull to give full access into the engine bay.
The oil change was preformed on a 2021 Seadoo Spark Trixx

You can actually do an entire oil change on a Trixx without removing the hull top. Oil extractor to remove oil and three bolts on oil filter cap with the oil ring. 15 minutes and you’re done.

But to take it off isn't that much work gives you easier access to the oil filter and while your at it give the engine a clean and protect and check over anything for wear and tear.

Save yourself a ton of time and buy an oil extraction pump and suck the oil out through the dipstick. Use the access panel to get to the filter. Should take no more than 15 minutes.

I love reading all the kiddie commemts about how he did this wrong, just suck it out, lol. This is totally the way to do it. It gives u a chance to do it properly. You can inspect all your clamps and grease the shaft. Also find leaks and other concerns along fhe way... sure, if its just a quick mid season oil change then giver, but this folks , is the way!

Pro tip, hold your oil can the opposite way, hole on top, and the oil will pour smooth instead of glugging.

hi.. you looked like you just ripped your seat up.. you know it's a matter of lifting the tab at the back and slide the seat back..
plus oil change can be done without removing the top deck. Good video in general tbf

We use an 8mm socket, any length should work for the screw.

Because he’s doing it wrong lmao you don’t have to remove the top. You can get to the dipstick tube and the filter with the top on. I’ve done it on mine.
