I think he factored in that the speeds they got were still impressive. Like if a bow advertised 300 IBO and it hit 300 he’d still give a bad mark cause it’s slow.
I have a good idea. It’s a video I’d like to see. What is the most accurate modern hunting compound bow in your opinion based on specs that YOU consider what makes an accurate bow. Reflex, brace, etc…
Would love to know the measurement of the riser above the grip on these prime bows compared to similar bows. Would be interested to know if the center grips makes the 36” bow just as compact vertically compared to a 33” or 34” bow in a ground blind.
Yes, that's something overlooked, the grip sits about 2" higher. The negative to that (I own and like Prime) is that a 32" bow has a string angle closer to a 29-30" bow. But you get a 34" feel with a 36" bow plus the stability of a 36. Basically the opposite of a Mathews that are really long above the grip.
Was wondering if you would test the prime bows. What's left for releases? PSE? Problem is in my area there's Mathews Hoyt dealer, a Bowtech Dealer, and that's all.
MFJJ..are you going/plan to do a summary video on these video..would be helpful...also you should see if you can get prime to come on..maybe the Tim and Josh talk to and see if they have a reason logic behind the speed differance ?
Josh, forgive me you mentioned this in the video, do you test the holding weight on these bows or do you just put the mod on and shoot it the way it comes from the factory?
The answer to why the riser is curved that way on the bottom can be found on their website. It’s called the swerve. 😂 They have used that “technology “ for several years now. Somewhere around 2016 or 2017.
Well starting to see some inconsistencies, obviously was paid by mathews for there reviews but not from prime, new mathews should have got a 1 or 2 for there speed being 14-15fps slow
@@ArcheryGeekOutdoors only if the let off does infact increase the speeds that much, most vids ive seen show there being no difference at all, Dan from elkshape just did one and the speeds where exactly the same
I can’t believe that you have a bowshop and keep still saying that absurd speech about speed cheating. Those bows, like many others, are tested under IBO: 82#, 400gn, Max DL (31,5” in this case). So a 314fps ATA speed bow is actually over 330 fps IBO with those parameters. If you don’t like IBO rating is great, but they’re not cheating by any means.
It seems you shop owners should establish a shop owners association. With Zoom, you could all get together and reestablish guidelines that are acceptable. You could also control more of the margins that I've heard are not great for you guys. Just a thought that would help shops profits and hold companies accountable for their products.
You should be marking Mathews a 1 or 2 for their speed also
Ditto, first time I've seen him that biased with these new reviews

Couldn't agree more, Mathews was off by 16 as well, also he isn't testing them like they do when they get the IBO. Another Biased video in my opinion.
Honesty is appreciated over a dishonest salespitch thank-you podium archer. I liked everything about the bow except the speed.

Thank you for the work ❤

Your Review are vary Good I like your measurements jobs keep it up

PSE dropped one today the mach 30 I think, probably just to annoy matthews lol.
I’m a huge prime fan but those are like mid 2000’s speeds from smooth solo cams.
Great video MFJJ! I was wondering, I looked on your page and couldn't find your review of the RVX 34. I'm guessing you're still working on that one.
Looking getting a new bow. which bow supports the best accessories. For fitting on the Bow.
Cheers

Could you test vibes without limb dampeners? I'm taking them off my hoyts cause I can't tell the difference
They should call it the prime Pinocchio. Every time they lie about the speed the riser gets longer.

Sure the Mathews Bridgelock is a technology instead of a “technology” for you.
Black 3 still the most stable platform I’ve shot, V3X 33, a close second.

The Lift 33 was 17fps slow but he added 4fps to the actual recorded speed because it was at 85% let off.

My lift came in 21fps slow on 3 different chronographs. Caldwell x2 and a Garmin
Love your videos man god bless 🙏
First time I have seen some bias in this years bow reviews what a shame.

Why the top sound like it's on a bind? Are all of them like that ? When dealing with prime
