As a 54 year old veteran who is about 100lbs overweight, I recently went back to the gym. About three years ago, I had been working out and had lost some weight but had a freak (non-workout related) accident where I shattered my kneecap and detached my patellar tendon. After some family tragedies, loss of employment, I am now back to trying to get into shape and be healthy again. This time I decided to take a personalized diet plan from Onlymeal. I also got workout plans and even some challenges, this tool is like a complete fitness assistant. It's been about a month and I am already feeling so much stronger!! 😎😎

Also drop your hands outwards. It will feel weird with knuckles facing more towards your body than the floor but it will intensify the exercise. Changing the sets and reps to shock the muscle AFTER properly warming them up is very beneficial. My simple formula: 1) Warm up the body and the muscles being targeted 2) Shock and exhaust the muscle group 3) Proper nutrient and rest

I do chins, ten, to start then 7 sets of 6, then 8 sets of 4, for 84 altogether, then I do 3 sets of 13 concentration curls with a 30 pound dumb bell, this tires the muscle completely, which you shouldnt do with chin ups, the reason I do low reps for 8 sets to finish, I am building towards 8 sets of 10, which is what I did before an illness set me back

@robertthomas3777 sounds like you know your stuff.
If you put more weight on the thumb side that would make it easier to turn the other side upwards.
      That make sense?
I would load the inside palm side and see how that works for you.
Although switching it up is also an option.
Do one workout one way and then switch for next workout. See which one hits the long head better. Assuming that's which bicep head you were talking about.
For the short head I load the inner palm though. It just feels better to me. I am a mystery lol.

Palm up is supination palm down is pronation. Why not just say it?

Does it matter? Honestly. It's my video, my words. Palm up or palm down much easier for everyone.
