Wow. With all the wood working videos I watch this was very refreshing. Love what you are doing to this old Chevy. One of my regrets in life is having to part with my 1950 five window. Looking forward to the next installment. 👍👍👍
Life is good when milling logs pays the bills! Well done Jason. I look forward to future build and milling videos......or any videos for that matter;-)
Looking great, Jason. It's coming along really well. You're much (actually a LOT) more knowledgeable than I am about this stuff. I would have no idea of what to do. I'm positive it will work out great. Bill
The worse thing about RETIREMENT is that you never get a day off with all the projects that are pending. Take your time, you have the rest of your life to get them done. God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Amen!!!
I'm a fan of Cardboard Aided Design and I'm really impressed with your ability to Fabricobble on the fly. I need to make a cartoon for any projects that I build. Great video Jason thumbs up.
Jason, Gotcha, You right I missed this video... I was on the Hot Rod power tour when it came out. Looking good. It frustrates me fiquring out these angles. Ron
Here’s something to consider , on your airbag mounts Paint them with the red primer and then give them a coat or two spray on bedliner this should keep them from rusting out overtime and not be metal to metal
we used to use those joints in offroad builds but they get a little dirt in them and wont stop squeaking until you tear them down and clean them regrease them and wait for the next noise I went to heim joints with ofset bushings a little JB80 and the noise is gone
Will your 4 link hanger bracket hit the ground when truck is lowered. See 4:37 time stamp in video .This is going to be one bad aXX truck when finished !! Wish the best of luck .
I think you should start a custom auto fab channel to increase your TH-cam revenue with shorter videos like Captain Kleeman did. IT would let YOU put up shorter videos centered around your metal skills and still allow the wood videos to keep the regulars happy. As always good luck and God Bless
Thanks, Mark. I’ve been pondering this idea. I do have another channel I started long before this one that was centered around my ATV stuff. I’ve been thinking about rebranding it.
Yep we believe you on the projects lol everyone asks me why I picked a school bus chassis length is a about right give me room to build the crew can with ambulance body behind an in leaves room for the slide and tilt recovery body half as s customs built the general which I love big beefy the ambulance body I'll convert to living space on trips just bought 4 40' containers boxes I've had a contractor clear rubbish from the land I bought do you think it would better using 6" x2" ,3 to make poles for poles or solid timber one for pole barns had different things said about both

Thank you! I had 3 1959 trucks in high school. One was a big window and like you, I regret parting with them. But I always wanted a 5 window too😉
Jack of all trades, master of all of them. Keep up the good work and videos.
I wish that were the case😂 thank you!
I can see you're really enjoying yourself, going to be a mean machine for sure.
Thank you! It’s really coming together.
Sweet! A man with many talents! Coming along great!
Thank you, Jeff!

Thank you, Bill! I’ve learned a lot from other TH-camrs.
This is really turning into a very cool truck and efficient can crusher.
😂😂😂
Oh how I needed this video Jason! This surgery is kicking my butt!! So it's nice to see that badass truck! You're pretty cool too!😂
😂
Nice work Bud! Keep up the great work, nice build series you have going!
Thank you! It’s coming along!
I love the 48 to 52 Chevy, My first was a 48 Chevy I got then was16 years old I'm 80 years old
The first truck I bought before I was old enough to drive was a 1959 Chevy fleetside long bed with a big window cab.
I can't wait to see this beauty finished gonna be bad ass Jason,I've got my 64 C20 going to the shop in August sometime🤞✌️ Napa California
Thanks, Sean! Good like with your truck!

Ain’t that the truth! I don’t know how I got so far behind 😂

Thank you, Craig!
That's coming along fantastically, Jason! Nice work! Really nice! Nice can crusher you got there! All the very best!
Thank you! I’m really liking how it’s coming together.
I’m glad that beer can was empty, that would have been a waste. Lol
😂😂😂
Great build, man!
Thank you!
That thing is turning out awesome!
Thank you!
Looking good Jason 👍 👌
Thank you!
SWAG tools make life better when doing metal fabrication. Your work looks really good.
Thank you! The best thing I did was get their adapter for the pipe threader. What a game-changer.
@@NorthwestSawyer SWAG has an adapter for a tubing bender. Mine works great.
@@lonniecraddock3990 I need to get one for mine. One of these days😉
That service truck lookz Awesome 😎👍
Thank you!
Man that truck is gonna be so cool.
Thank you!
My eyesight is so bad I could be a referee but those welds look spot on ,nice one
Ha! Thank you!
great job...love your work..
Thank you, Edward!
Nice progress.
Thank you!
Very nice work👏🏻
Thank you!

I bet that was a blast!

I’m hoping dirt won’t be an issue on a street truck. I’ll keep it greased and see what happens.
@@NorthwestSawyer the truck is looking fantasic I would love to find an old cab and put it on my 95 c3500 flatbed
@@j-jfabrication thank you! This truck was a 4400 series. The bigger truck cabs seem to be a little easier to find and fit the big wheels better.
Your truck is lookin' GOOOOOOOD 👍👍 Best "shop truck" around!!
Thank you! I just picked up a 12 valve Cummins for it. It’s going
To be awesome 😉
I can't wait to see the finish product!
Something tells me you missed your vocation Jason, great bit of Fabricobuling there.
Thank you, Barry! I do my best😉
nice work
Thank you!
I’ve got a major case of shop and tool envy Jason. Keep crushin’ it!
Thank you, John! I need to spend a little time on my shop now that you mention it😉
I like it your truck looks awesome
Thank you, Jim! I finally got the cab mounted this weekend and a 12v Cummins installed.
JASON!!!! A 'cardboard cutout' from an Anhiszer Bush Ultra 12 pack? THEN 'crushing' a Coors light? What were you thinking! LOL
🤓
Will your 4 link hanger bracket hit the ground when truck is lowered. See 4:37 time stamp in video .This is going to be one bad aXX truck when finished !! Wish the best of luck .
Thank you, Doug! The frame of the truck doesn’t actually contact the ground when aired out. Just the service body and eventually the front bumper.
Dude! So bad ass! Wish I was closer would love to lend a hand/hang out.
Me too! I’d love a hand!😂
Should’ve been a Bud Lite crunch!!! All good …. despite your camera issues, the content is great. Enjoying retirement??
I’m too busy!😂

For a wood butcher that’s not bad!
😂
21:22 What’s your vector, Victor? 😆🤣
Roger, Roger. 🤓
Perhaps you said and I missed )or forgot) it. Where did you acquire your impressive knowledge of frame engineering? Not for the faint of heart!
Thank you! I’ve always been into old cars but I’ve learned a bunch by watching “halfass customs” and “garage fab” on TH-cam.
nice
Thanks
Damn it’s early, wake up people.
I scheduled my videos to post at 6 am eastern time every Friday 😉
👍
LoL Nice can crusher.

Sorry about the late response! I always prefer solid Timbers when I can but I can get them pretty easily. 😉
Sawyer.
🤓
WOW! What an amazing build this is going to be. Looking forward to the progress and finished product. John
Thank you, John! It’s coming along. Now if I could just get my retirement to slow down!😂
Crushed it! Really nice to be along for the ride build.
Thank you! It’s coming together.

Its early.
Your are wayyyyyyy more than a swayer .
