Just got done doing this to my new ot-lc. It is a game changer. The surprising part was when I found out the tough built clip offset the pouch enough to make the pockets still usable with a pouch attached
I have wished someone would sell something like this for years. Every job I have is different and requires a slightly different set of tools. Nice setup man.
I have the veto ot-mc and I am 100% out of space but I don’t want to go bigger. This makes a ton of sense as a modular add on that I can remove to cut down on weight. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching and commenting. The veto tp-4b has a big belt loop opening and I didn't want to loose that opening bolting on the tough built (large size) clip to it. Mostly do to, needing to carry zip-ties in that spot. So on the lower part of the tp-4b's belt loop, I drilled and bolted through both layers. And on the upper part, I only drilled and bolted through one layer . I hope that helps.
I took a clip off a toughbuilt pouch and put it on my Veto MP2. I’m using both Veto and Toughbuilt too. So, I’ll be putting a clip on my OT-MC tomorrow….. Thank you
That is a very creative solution. You should also do a video showing what tools you carry in your bags, it can help others especially if you talk which ones are the most frequently used tools.
@@workingmanrondoyle3287 I got a drill holster in today. I was going to try this, I was wondering. Did you mean to put the veto clip on backwards? Would it only work that way?
This is amazing and the type of solution I was looking for but didn't know existed until I stumbled on your video. Thank you for taking all the guesswork out of this solution. I can't thank you enough. I will be picking up the veto bags in March because I'm waiting for the yearly sale, but I will post photos when I do. At 1st I thought your video was on a 1.5 speed but I see now it was just your excitement for being the 1st to come up with this solution so again thank you for sharing your process.
Thanks for watching pop box. I'm glad I could help.👍 Your right about the speed. I don't talk that fast. I'm just trying to keep the videos as short as possible to get my point across. Happy New years to ya.
www.amazon.com/dp/B0140V9V7M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_09V57XZY8NJGPWNRRSK1 This is the Tough Built pouch that is most used. I found it on Amazon and it's on the Home Depot website hopefully that helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
@@popbox3738 I forgot to mention, it comes with one clip Tech belt clip. If you were thinking about adding some to a veto tool tote? You may want to order a 3 pack of clip tech's for that modification.
Lowe's home improvement stores sale the Tough Built tool bags and clip tech hubs. They can also be ordered from Home Depot and Menards online. Thanks again for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and commenting on my video. Yes, I get that complaint quite a bit. 😥 I started slowing the videos down so they're more understandable. Thanks again for watching 👍
Thanks for the info I did a similar modification on my veto small pouch and have a video on my channel as well #thetiminatorthetoolman Thanks again for sharing
Thanks for watching and commenting. A lot of people have complained about the speed of my videos. I started doing this to cut down on the length of the video. It can be adjusted to normal on your end by tapping in 3 vertical... Set (playback speed) to .75 That should do it.
Thanks for watching and the comment. If we're talking about the Veto ot-mc tool bag mod? There are no holes added to it. You'll be using the 3 factory holes where the strap bolts up. If you're talking about the Veto tp-4-b tool pouch? Adding four holes is well worth the inprovement to the pouch. So far, so good. I've found no fault in doing this mod.
I've done a lot of the same stuff myself. 🤜🍻🍻 🤛on some of my veto bags I just zip tie the clip tech hubs on the side d rings. I really like how you did your connection point with your bag.👍👍 It's amazing how many ways people have used the toughbuilt hardware over the years and even the 3d printed stuff being made as well.
Thanks for watching bookmn0926. Right now Lowe's has them for around $7.00 for a three pack. I've not gotten into the 3D printer but very interesting stuff! Maybe something for me in the future 👍👍
I set the playback speed at 0.75 to understand him better .
🤣
I just assumed he was an auctioneer on the weekends. 😉

Awesome job thanks.
Gonna do this with my occidental telecom pouch.
And if I can make room my ideal tough tote

Even that hand movements make me believe so not just the voice
A working man with efficient and effective ideas. Great content as always
I thought of the same thing but to the tec pack
nice im going to try the same
best video for today, thank you so much
Damn..... I love the sped up video. And ingenuity!!! Just subscribed to your channel. No nonsense. Just informative!

Brilliant! An absolutely great idea. I like the Veto bags but I like the Toughbuilt clip system. Now you have provided me a solution.
Love the idea of the TP4B with the toughbuilt clip. I could only see 2 washers on the front tho. Where is the other 2 ?

Excellent innovation and functionality! Love this setup! Great video quality too, after changing playback to .75. 🤓
Thanks for watching Sixty grit. Merry Christmas to ya 🎄🎀
I just sold my OT MC to a friend but I’m going to share this video with him. Nice set-up!

Thanks badchips10 👍 your the second person to mention that as a video topic. I'll be doing that one for sure👍👍
I also have a tough built clip on my ladder and on my cart.
Thanks for watching Joe Joe 👍 That tough built stuff is awesome!
Perfect really nice I love your new engineering on the veto bags..thanks for sharing your ideas

Thank you so much for the compliment and watching Edison👍
I do the same but find the toughbuilt clip opens up and fits through the large d rings on the vetos
Thank you for the video!
Your welcome, and thank you so much for watching 👍 my channel !
Check out the new gorilla 5.5 foot ladder the last two step are really long and wide very comfortable. Has a deep tray and come with a bigger trey.
Lol thanks
Do a video with the tpb3 and tp2 with clip tech please!!!
Thanks for watching and the video suggestion. I can do a video on the veto tp-3B and the tp-4B which I own.
Up over 100 subs! Congrats! Merry Christmas
Thanks John Sandlin and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family as well⛄🎄

I got the TPxxxl and the damn thing is annoying becuase of the flap and how tippy it is. This set up is way better and super versatile.
