Thanks for this video, has given me an idea of using one of these to store my masonry tools, trowels 125mm cordless grinder, jointers, lines and pins, spray line etc. Many times better than storeing these in a overfull bucket and haveing to rummadge around or not realising something has gone missing. I already have several veto drill bags for my cordless kit.
Good video. Really good mod. I firmly believe Veto bags are great and we should make them work for our individual purposes. I prefer closed bags. Xl, LC tech XL which i have. Your bag is so organized and well thought out. You are making me think about how i can use this bag. Love the Metabo light. Much respect!
serious tool/van envy!! just watched all your vids and I am not even a plumber-amazing reviews and on site stuff dude. your vids are well made keep em coming.
I was searching your Twitter for a vid on this as was sure you had a image or short vid on it yesterday also tried searching Forbes as well. Could not find anything so went with getting my veto cargo tote plus more part bags. Will be getting this bag next month now I know it will work asa hot bag cheers.
Nice one Pete. I've been looking at a new bag or box for soldering kit you may have just sold me on getting one of these bags and doing something similar.
Hi great reviews thanks for showing us I just want to ask why you have different types of flux as am starting out doing plumbing and was just wonding why you have 3 different brands and which one you prefer to use most often.
Really Appreciate The Advice And Time You Take Out For Us. Will Be Buying One ASAP. What was that pipe cleaning tool to get paint off the pipe? Also, how do I remove the two rivets? I know you said drill em out, but I don't understand fully what you mean
David Wells no 8ah batteries for festool though buddy and to be honest they were virtually identical light output unless you put the Metabo on high then it was much brighter than the festool 👍
Why not just get the Veto OT-LC? Seems to have a good opening on the one side but the vertical storage on the other. No center area but large sides. Overally dimensions is just 3.5 inches longer.
Have you tried contacting veto? I think they need to make a "modular" version of this tote, so the end user can mchange it a bit to fill the specific need.
Hello mate. Where did you get the firestop? I'm searching online and can't find it anywhere. Just ordered this bag for my soldering gear and am basically copying your set up.

That bag works great as soldering bag. Anyone watching pay close attention to which panel you want to keep in the bag before you remove one. I spent 45 mins putting tools in and out before I decided which panel worked best for me.

Savage vodeo have two of them metabo lamps there class you cN get a tripod for them too which is excellent...metabo are ths best there drills are awesome ....
Great idea with that bag , well done I’ve just bought one and done same thing 👍🏻, really like all your reviews and videos. Can You please tell me where did You get that tool to remove paint from pipes ? Thanks
Map gas is a slightly higher temp which will heat up copper pipe quicker and theoretically do the joint quicker, BUT, don't over do it or you will burn the flux out and the pipe/fitting will go black, then you'll be in trouble. Better use a smaller flame and keep dabbing the solder on the pipe until it runs, keep taking the flame away from the joint to eliminate the chances of burning the joint. I personally try to bend everything, when I solder, I use "Yorkshire" fittings, the ones with the solder built in. Clean them properly, not too much flux and when you see the solder run you're finished. I DON'T add extra solder and rarely have leaks, if I do its not because I didn't add solder.
nice set up, but I think your extinguisher is in the wrong place. It looks like it can easily get damaged or pierced. belongs in the middle compartment.

Nice, I'm still conflicted with the price of the bags though. The Metabo light is fantastic, have one myself with a 7.0 battery and it lasts all day if you need it, around 9-10 hours. Very handy.
You gotta grind those folded over rolls on your swaging tools, they can explode off at the speed of sound under a hammer strike (safety squints engaged!)
I see a lot of interest in the flux. I don't see any interest in controlling excessive heat. Guys look into a product called "hot dam" it's a putty . Allows you to not to accidentally unsolder butt to butt fittings.
I have recently stumbled across your videos and I have to say I’m very impressed with your content and opinions. Thank you

You are not just a plumber. You are the backbone of society. Blue collar working man!
Nice torch bag bud....really enjoyed how you modified the bad. I wish Veto Pro Pac would come out with a dedicated plumbers bag. Cheers!
if you contact veto directly, they actually listen:) they just released five bags to include all leather!
This is brilliant, thank you! Wondered how I’d convert it for soldering!

Great video. Learning toward that bag or the ot-lc. Tough decisions
Big respect because of good info about boiler plus that was really handy and nice plumb tools THANK YOU!
Well done for putting out these videos! It’s great for maintaining a good reputation for all of us in the building industry 👍
I did the same, but moved the center box over and put the screws back in. Gave me more room for the flux I use.

Nice video ! From where did you get the power flux container ?
Hi PB there seems to be a few of us who'd like to know why you have different flux. La Co and Powerflow which one when? Thanks.
Hi mate, I like the pipe paint scraper tool. Where di you get it from ? Thanks

Mate top video got the veto pro pack back pack
where did you get the pipe paint cleaning tool?
I want to know too!
Where did buy the pots for your flux ?
Love the organisation mate. Given me some ideas. However can't justify the £150 for that bag but it will probably last a very long time.
Check out the Velocity Tote bag , it’s awesome 👍
Have you tried contacting veto? I think they need to make a "modular" version of this tote, so the end user can mchange it a bit to fill the specific need.
I’m watching this 6 years later and they do offer a customizable version of this now, probably inspired by people like this.
Do you think that Mc tank will fit in the middle of the bag MC tank is the smallest acetylene bottle available for plumbers

Did u just sell this on ebay bud?
I've been looking for a heat proof mat exactly like the one you have. Please, I'd love to know what brand it is or where you got it.
Its a silverline tools heat mat
I'd love a review on their new DR-XL from you
Any reason why you use two different brands of flux? I use powerflux personally.
Them chisels will take your eye out they need grinding the ends off I know a few boys had their eye out heavy engineering right enough
Paint pipe cleaning tool. Where that from matey.
Nice vids. Got you a subby
Nice to see another Metabo user.
Best kept secret out there
Harvey Smith Yes. I like Metabo too! METABO makes a pretty good rotary hammer. I have the BHE 20 and its made in Germany!
Hi mate have you been in contact with Veto about the modification to see if the would make a bag with this configuration?
Finally someone knows how to properly pronounce 'Solder'.... many peeps say 'Soder'... 🙄
That'll be Americans.. sorder.
I think maybe 'Sole-der' is a more European english way to pronounce it and 'Sodder' is a more North American way. We say 'Sodder' in Canada as well.

Where you flux tubs from man?
Jkmechanical Asda matey, they’re just beakers with kids and I drilled a hole in for the brush 👌🏽
Hey PB, any reason you choose propane rather than mapp gas?
Just wondering mate 👍

Great but expensive just for a solder bag ..
My personal opinion.
👍

these bags do not come with a lifetime warranty, only 5 year warranty. I am sure that was a mistake on the guy in the videos behalf.
