@@a.x.x8184the next switch. Think about it gba had red and blue remakes, ds had silver and gold remakes, 3ds had ruby and sapphire remakes, switch had diamond and pearl remakes.
Why hello and welcome to the world of Pokémon my friend, enjoy every moment of it. As someone who’s been playing for 13+ years of Pokémon, it feels good to see someone start their Pokémon journey for the first time.
Yep, everyone gets a Shinx. It's easy to see why it's one of the most popular Pokemon in Gen 4. It's an early-game Pokemon and its evolutionary line is really cool (mid-evos are always the awkward teen designs, but Shinx and Luxray are genuinely fantastic).
In my opinion Sinnoh can not be the best Pokémon to start because it has different problems. I really like the region and the Pokémon, but the scarcity of different type it's a big problem. For example the fire type!
One of the best things about the series has always been collecting Pokemon. It's one of the few things they can't seem to mess up, thankfully. Shiny hunting (shinies being slight or dramatic recolors you can very very rarely encounter and catch) being how I keep going once I've caught all of the Pokemon from a particular game for my living dex (a collection of every Pokemon in each generation). There are some elements that kinda suck about certain games, like how you can't up the shiny rate of Pokemon in BDSP with the shiny charm outside of breeding (which isn't fun, I've grown tired of it), but in most mainline games there's usually a great way to shiny hunt. For example, Dynamax Adventures in Sword/Shield have high shiny rates. The first time I did one I got a shiny Doublade, I was almost convinced it was guaranteed to give you a shiny for your first run. In Scarlet/Violet since you "encounter" so many Pokemon at once, every Pokemon being visible as shiny or not from the overworld (just running around) means the shiny rate is technically increased in a way, so you'll be trotting around a cave and see a yellow Sableye out of nowhere. Of course without any shiny indicator like what Pokemon Legends Arceus had, you can't really tell unless you know the Pokemon is shiny already, but a lot of shiny colors are distinctive enough that you'll at least be curious even if you don't know what it is. Some, though, are just bad, like Slowpoke's shiny or Maushold, or Charcadet. But even with increased shiny odds, I'm nowhere near done shiny hunting all the Pokemon. I've yet to hit like 200 shiny Pokemon and the series has over a thousand at this point, not including form variations (regional forms like Alolan Raichu or male/female Oinkologne, or more subtle gender changes like Venusaur). So fortunately no matter the series flaws, if they put in the bare minimum effort, I can probably still enjoy it. That's a flaw of the series, but at the end of the day as long as I can have fun, I try not to worry about it too much. The series will continue to decline, probably, but that's not my problem. There's still a lot that's enjoyable about it and that will keep me around until that's no longer the case.
It's pretty cool actually watching someone play pokemon for the first time! Hard to find on youtube I guess because pokemon has been around a lot longer than youtube
Seeing other people be clueless about Pokémon makes me nostalgic for when I used to be clueless about Pokémon Without how jaded a portion of the fandom has gotten it’s nice to see new fans get sucked into the whimsy and wonder which is what made Pokémon so unique and special to begin with that those jaded fans forgot about

We're paying $35 for DLC to mostly just get back old Pokemon when in days past you could get every single Pokemon in the game. How is a Batman game able to compare to Pokemon even down to its mechanics...
This makes me think that maybe older fans are too harsh on this game. It has a flaws sure, but so did the original and people love that game. This remake is a fine experience on its own.
It's a decent game. The issue is that it doesn't stand out much from the original game (compare that to Gen 2 and Gen 3 remakes). Overall the only reason I play this game over the originals is because I can play it on the switch. That and after Gen 6, 7 and 8 people really wanted to see Sinnoh in a non-chibi style so having the beloved remakes be chibi rather than share the style with, say, Sword and Shield, it already turned a lot of people off. Me included.
Just like DP, only 5 fire-type Pokemon (Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape, Ponyta, and Rapidash) can be obtained pre-National Dex. 2 if you didn't choose Chimchar as your starter. The "Grand" Underground isn't so "grand" since it removes the chance to decorate your bases with furniture like a TV, sofa, carpet, etc. They opted to decorate it with Pokemon statues that affect which Pokemon appears on the Pokemon Hideaways. Those are just the things I've heard about from a lot of PokeTH-camrs playing it. But to me personally, I like the story of the original DP but the remakes, or should I say "remaster" since that is what a lot of people categorize them, didn't add anything new, unlike FRLG, HGSS, ORAS, and LGPE. They could've just added the story about Giratina and the Distortion World just like what they did with ORAS Delta Episode. What's more, it looks like it's from a generation between Gen 5 and 6. I expected them to use the SwSh engine but better just like the other remakes. But they didn't.
It is so sad that some of these new pokemon games will be the first pokemon games some people ever play... they have been a husk of themselves ever since, I'd say black and white or x and y... I'd say x and y was their last hoorah. They should have just kept mega evolution for at least another generation and stuck to the original formula. Now we're getting incomplete games out the woozy with pokemon locked behind dlc and pokemon home... billion dollar company can't even hire voice actors for a couple weeks to record dialogue and graphically, pokemom has become the nintendo of video games, if that makes sense...
Have you played game series, any of the most popular ones made by Ubisoft or SEGA, or Insomniac? I don't actually know it's my first time, found your You Tube channel just today, but I'd like to see more of your commentary gameplays specially from those types of games. It's a huge list including Sleeping Dogs, Assassins Creed Series, Yakuza series, Far Cry series and a lot more of other productions. 1st video from your channel that I watched was Final Fantasy 7 remake, enjoyed it very much, even if I played before, felt like it was my first-time journey again. Hope to see more from you. A lot of good games with amazing stories are out there.

@04musicgurl the national dex was weird in an awful way, the Elite Four and Cynthia was brutally difficult, omnidirectional navigation still locks into a grid style flooring, following pokemon was just horrendous, the underground was lack luster they took away a lot of fun things from Platinum and idk if it's patched, but you can glitch into something coming out of underground and just be stuck there unless you reset to your last save point
This girl is making me feel old.. the fact that it is her first time playing Pokémon.. turtwig is my least favorite starter and she wasted her time to catch the HM slave Bidoof.. or at least it use to be..
Bad game to start off with my main reason is the elite 4 and champion having competetive teams so the jump in difficulty is really high also these remakes are just really bad id recomend platinum
I had an inclink that she was going to choose turtwig or piplup. But to evolution she might regret it because torterra has a more of a male than female. But piplup to empoleon is the most feminine out of the 3

@@aristagne *I. KNOW.*
@@aristagne actually, you can get a Houndoom in the underground
It is so sad that some of these new pokemon games will be the first pokemon games some people ever play... they have been a husk of themselves ever since, I'd say black and white or x and y...
I'd say x and y was their last hoorah. They should have just kept mega evolution for at least another generation and stuck to the original formula. Now we're getting incomplete games out the woozy with pokemon locked behind dlc and pokemon home... billion dollar company can't even hire voice actors for a couple weeks to record dialogue and graphically, pokemom has become the nintendo of video games, if that makes sense...
Alana did you say Beg or Bag?
pokedollars Alana lmao
Good work on the video I hope you enjoy your first time playing through the game BDSP is a solid entry point Dropped you a like as well!

Emerald, FireRed, and Crystal/Silver were fantastic Pokemon games.
The new ones not so much.
TH-cam suggested me this. XD
This is your using what console??
Why didn't anyone in her chat tell her to go heal her pokemon 😂😂
You don't need to that's how easy it is..
When tf did i comment this wtf😂
Can you play Pokemon Sword and Shield
You are so freaking adorable! I love it
Have you played game series, any of the most popular ones made by Ubisoft or SEGA, or Insomniac? I don't actually know it's my first time, found your You Tube channel just today, but I'd like to see more of your commentary gameplays specially from those types of games. It's a huge list including Sleeping Dogs, Assassins Creed Series, Yakuza series, Far Cry series and a lot more of other productions. 1st video from your channel that I watched was Final Fantasy 7 remake, enjoyed it very much, even if I played before, felt like it was my first-time journey again. Hope to see more from you. A lot of good games with amazing stories are out there.
God they have the character barry run in that stupid convoluted line at like 26 mins...i thought 3d movement was a thing now nintendo
Use Buck or Bidoof to attack chimchar
But grass type Pokemon are weak against ice type poison type and flying type Pokemon
When did she get the Starly? Lol
Nice do more pokemon
so, you don't even know if your opening sound is Lake themesong in Pokemon BDSP?😅
Hey you know pokemons can evolve.........
Algorithm algorithming!!
Turt-wig 🙊😭😂
Please post more!
I know alot of people have probably said this but how have you never played a pokemon game before?
If U Actually Want MASTERPIECE Try Playing Pokemon Omega Ruby Or Alpha Sapphire
Both Are Same But Each Version There Is a Specific Pokemon That Can Be Only Obtained In Each Version
No one is gonna talk about how she kept on using weakass tackle 😅
I’m sad nobody suggest to name Bidoof “God”.
Can you please finish this
Did you ever finish the play through? Lol
Oh good you're trying out BDSP as a newbie. Most veteran players hate this remaster. Well not hate, but were highly disappointed.
Can I ask why? O_o
Pls use Shinx or Flan to defeat Starly
please do pokemon walkthrough edits
This girl is making me feel old.. the fact that it is her first time playing Pokémon.. turtwig is my least favorite starter and she wasted her time to catch the HM slave Bidoof.. or at least it use to be..
U didnt say gyarados
Pls do ep 3
At least you are not a genwunner
Bad game to start off with my main reason is the elite 4 and champion having competetive teams so the jump in difficulty is really high also these remakes are just really bad id recomend platinum
I had an inclink that she was going to choose turtwig or piplup. But to evolution she might regret it because torterra has a more of a male than female. But piplup to empoleon is the most feminine out of the 3
Genshin when
you're so cute
choosing turtwig as a starter is disaster no pokemon fan in right mind would choose a grass type for a starter unless they r too pro
Why? im taking grass since gen 1...
Love the grass starters
The way she said gyarados 🙄
I mean without the anime as guidance it makes sense lol
Shes gonna real dissapointed when she plays pokemon platinum
1. It’s “Poh Ka Mon,” or “Poh Ke Mon”
It’s never “Poh Key Mon.”
2. I stopped watching after you failed to capitalize your rival, Mikey’s, name.
Do You Like 👍🏻 Alana is Pokemon 👩🏻👓 Alana Crying 😭
you should have played a vintage version, not these new. the new are bad
