luffy vs blackbeard would have been sick but I'm glad Law fought him instead as I'd rather have that fight later in the story
I think if Luffy is the only one who beats Blackbeard in a 1v1 it will feel like Luffy is reliant as heck on plot armor and Blackbeard as a character would feel weak as he is way older than luffy

I love the idea of the davey back fights for the poneglyphs. That is the greatest missed opportunity in the entire series.

Seeing as the davey back fight is the single worst received arc of all of one piece, I'm not so sure.

I think it's feasible that Law could simply escape Egghead using the Op-Op fruit. He can create rooms the size of islands and teleport people around within them, so he could probably just shambles his crew and the vegapunks down to the Polar Tang, and then get the hell out of there.

Kidd would do the worst there and the best against Blackbeard Teach since his fruit can't be cancelled/countered out like that.

3 things: 1. if Law makes nice on Elbaf, we lose out on Bepo D. Bear sulong (and learning the truth about his pal Chopper D. Dealer). Bepo could also play a similar role to saving Law at Egghead like he did with Blackbeard 2. Elbaf would be a big (or even giant) Usopp moment but there’s also a giant Robin moment that could end with much Dereshi’ing and maybe even the return of a different more cowboy ish hat coming back into the story. And 3. Female Caribou is the nightmare fuel I was not expecting today, so thank you kindly for that
Also Teach can one-shot Kid or Luffy's ship with tsunami because they are not submarines like Law's so they can't escape underwater

Also worth speculating that Kid's DF may be able to fry CPUs with and EMP attack, potentially freeing the Seraphim from everyone's control to allow them to choose their own paths.

Yeah man i hate how much ppl are ****ing on Kidd cause he couldn't deal with Shanks, his fruit is actually broken too if used right... and in reality Luffy might actually remember Blackbeard's involvement with Ace, get extremely pissed off/angry just like with Akainu and go gear 5 & completely demolish Teach & his entire crew in the blink of an eye.
To say they would just run away from the burst lol that might not be what Oda goes for at all if Luffy encounters BB this early in this story b4 all of Teach's future power ups.

With the Law going to Vegapunks island, hed be absolutely fine. None of the Seraphim have Haki (to our knowledge) so Laws room ability along with cutting them into pieces stills works. Now how Stella feels about the Seraphiim being tossed around like spare part is another mystery.
if the seraphim doesn't have Haki then Law can use his Room just cut them in pieces. and i think people forget that law can easily cut anything in his room that has no haki or that is haki is weaker than his

Metal sea beast, metal seraphims, and metal all around. He could become douglas bullet basically with a giant mech. Vegapunks island would work for any of the crews.
@@user-rn4eh3js1l they are slaves with no wills of their own. Haki is will power. And on the off chance they do have haki, there’s no way it’s more powerful than laws. (Anyone with haki more powerful than laws he can’t move/dismember them)
@superace91 Except they aren't slaves without will, because they were very explicitly stated to have one, for the purpose of decision making when not giving detailed enough orders.
I still believe that it's a possibility, an admittedly slim one, that Egghead turns into the best option for Kidd. Mainly it involves him reaching Egghead itself, which I agree, he'd probably be taken down by Lilith first.
But if he did get to Egghead, I imagine he'd become a tech god. His powers just come together so well on Egghead and its weaponry, basically turning him into a living island battalion thing. He becomes insanely strong, enough to wipe out the Seraphim and the Marine attack, but it's still Kidd, so he goes on a rampage of destruction now he has access to all these weapons.

while i agree, kidd's crew would not be able to defeat blackbeard's; i think their is a big chance he would just fire the damned punk at the now marooned crew. he is hot headed enough to face them but he's also ruthless enough to not give them any advantage, including not using his most powerful weapon from afar
Between the warp and darkness fruits they have an easy counter to damned punk tho
Blackbeard has a sniper with a much longer range so range is not an advantage for Killer who can only fire once or twice. It was not made clear as he used it at the end of his last battle but railgun probably drains him of his energy quite significantly

It wouldn't work because Blackbeard's sea quake attacks already destroys Kid's ship, Law's ship is submarine thats why Law survived the attack, any ship thats not submarine is not surviving Blackbeard's sea quakes/tsunami attacks so it will be easier fight for Blackbeard
Also I'd like to point out, Law low diffs all the seraphim, does everyone forget the seraphim have showcased no haki at all & law can teleport them all into the sea or into the bubble gun immediately?
Not to mention Law could just swap their personalities into fodder soldiers. There are literally over 10 different abilities Law can use to 1 shot the seraphim with attacks the seraphim cannot defend against.
Keep in mind, the only reason Law couldn't use all his abilities on Kaido & Big Mom is because their haki was strong & currently being used to stop him & even with that being the case majority of his moves still worked & all of his Awakening moves worked.
Not to mention Law is far smarter then luffy so, he'd find out wayyyy faster then everyone else vegapunk is being betrayed from within & never take his eyes off him, foiling York's plan.
Also Law unlike luffy would actually be smart enough to just tell the vegapunks to modify his ship, so they could get away from the marines & they'd just leave before Kizaru got there.

Because ik someone will bring up Rob Lucci, if he can't tank low level gear 5th punches, where luffy is clearly holding back, then he isn't tanking any of Law's better moves that all hurt Kaido & Big Mom & Blackbeard who all used high speed healing to recover from those better attacks.

Agreed Egghead would have been one of the best paths for Law he would help Vegapunk since he wants to know the meanings of D.
Also with his devil fruit he would escape with Vegapunk before Kizaru and CP0 arrive
Actually, I think Law might be the perfect candidate to take down the Seraphim. As powerful and durable as the Seraphim are, they don’t seem to have haki, which would mean that, unlike against Vergo, Doflamingo, Kaido, and Big Mom, Law could use the full range of his powers on them. He could chop them up, he could remove their hearts like he did Smoker’s for an instant win, he could even body swap them with some of his weaker crew members for the time being. Unless S-Snake got the drop on him and he fell for her cuteness act, once they’re in Law’s room, without Haki, what can they really do? And assuming Stussy still takes care of Lucci and Kaku, I could see the Heart pirates figuring out York’s plot and escaping Egghead unscathed.
I can definitely see Law looking at S-Snake with a dead serious expression cold enough to make her see her whole life flashing through her eyes, only for her to notice that said expression was preserved in a stone statue, and he did, in fact, find her cute. Secretly. Deep down.
Kidd could beat Blackbeard if only he learned how to use his powers for more than punching things really hard. Like turning Blackbeard's rings into tiny finger guillotines, or pulling the triggers of those many many guns Teach keeps pointed at his crotch. And that's not even mentioning the sniper or the dude whose face is half metal
Darkness fruits counter all, except fire arrows or poison dragons or old anime dude.
Teach's sea quakes/tsunami attacks destroys any ship thats not submarine, thats why Law had advantage vs Teach's sea attacks but still his submarine got damaged, Kid's ship will get stomped easily since it can't escape under water

@@ihatepower4580it hasn't been hard confirmed whether or not darkness stops paramecia attacks, and it sure as hell hasn't stopped projectiles like bullets that I can remember, so it likely wouldn't be able to stop kidd's magnetic trigger pull. And I'm curious if Kidd could have turned the wreckage of the Victoria Punk into part of the damned punk, possibly as a final huge burst attack, like he finds a last remaining bit of ship to stand on, like the dino figurehead, clumps every bit of the ship he can pull along with the metal he already had on board for a full on island buster shot or something fo cripple Blackbeard and his crew as a final middle finger before he sinks

I could 100% see Shanks boarding the Sunny in order to lead his fleet to the One Piece. They can settle who gets the treasure at Laugh Tale, right now he and Luffy got some bonding to do. Plus Luffy probably has another training arc in him.

Kid has shown that he can run away from a fight. He ran away from big mom territory after achieving a goal. I believe if he encountered blackbeard he would flee after destroying blackbeard ship

@gwen , Law's attack don't need charging, Kid's attack needed time to charge, he hit Big mom after Big mom was hurt by Law's puncture wille, Kid was also charging his attack before attacking Shanks thats how Shanks sensed with Haki, it needs a time, Law doesn't need time to attack with awakening its much faster, he caught Big Mom off-guard when she was going rooftop, Law is much faster than Kid and can also teleport, Kid can't do that.
Also Teach was following Law after Law escaped, thats how Teach was off-guard while using pegasus to fly, since Kid won't escape, he can't catch Teach offguard while flying with pegasus in the air
The Straw Hat Pirates go on to rebrand themselves the No Hat Pirates, which becomes a strange distinction as there are many pirates with no hat, but moreso the crew itself at any given point wears no fewer than two hats between Chopper and Usopp, additionally it's up for debate whether Zoro's bandana is a hat or not, but clearly foreseeing this outcome, Robin gave up her cowboy hat years ago.
We don’t know York's or any of the Vegapunks' capabilities with haki. Depending on if Seraphim's command hierarchy takes soul into consideration or not, Law could switch York's body with a better Vegapunk and have them stop the Seraphim. Obviously, that is a very convoluted plan though.
- Reminds me of the 3 way path the Strawhats were deciding on before they left Fishman Island. It's crazy that they could've missed Caesar/Doflamingo/Law/Entire Wano arc if Luffy chose something else!
- Kid VS Blackbeard fight could be interesting since they both have "magnetic" powers
- I wonder if a giant has any use for Law's immortality operation? Do they consider themselves long lived?

finally! Thank you, this is what I kept mentioning to Kid fans about how Law would have not suffered the same fate. Yes he would get one shotted only if Law was reckless and decided to hurt Shanks' crew. they keep forgetting that Kid was in that situation in the first place because he decided to attack Shank's allies crew. Law is more the logical and strategic person, its going to be more diplomatic.
My thing for Kidd is, at least after getting sunk so immediately by Shanks, if he does survive, his entire arc (should he get anymore focus) i feel like is realizing he can’t go into every situation thinking he can blow up the island and not give a damn.
Honestly the more prep time and conversation Kidd actually has with his crew the better chance he has in all of these situations. If he trusts his crews intuition and doesnt attack blackbeard marooned (or shanks and all of elbaf), he gets away pretty cleanly. I think that if Kidd isn’t an immediate Ass to all of Egghead he could do a ton of damage.
Just unfortunate we really have no evidence he will change from a one dimensional character because he is really cool has a great power and design otherwise.
Maybe but Kidd already got destroyed multiple times and still didn't learn his lesson so it's up in the air if this would be the one that finally snaps him out of it.
I loved this video. The rewind thing and going over every possibility. Then at the end I was thinking what a Straw Hat-less Straw Hat crew would be called. And it's obvious, right? The New Sun Pirates. They already had the Always Sunny so it's perfect. And I realized the possibility that Oda foreshadowed Luffy's new fruit powers back when they got their new ship.
When you think about it, the straw hat is kind on like a crown for the pirate king. Instead of the rigid sharp shape of a crown, it is a simple and common item that almost anyone can wear. Shanks might respect that Luffy is the one fated to change the world, but that does not mean he is going to allow Luffy to become the pirate king. If the Straw hat is a crown then that means that shanks is expecting Luffy to return the crown to him, the rightful king.
I actually disagree about law giving the poneeglyohs to shanks. I think the two of them would hang out for a bit and then shanks would throw him the ultimatum, then law would accept the fight and probably lose. It would most likely be a one on one. There's no way that law is giving up his poneglyphs to an emporer, especially after just dispatching one.
I think law might actually stand a chance against the seraphim considering that they might not actually have haki since the strength they've shown is completely from biology and devil fruit
With how powerful Blackbeard's devil fruit is, I actually wonder if when the Thousand Sunny takes off, if Blackbeard would be able to use a black hole and keep it from flying away

I always believed that after Egghead, we will be going to Elbaf and Elbaf would be an Usopp focused arc, maybe that's where he finally learns to control his observation Haki (I like the idea that he can project his lies onto others with his Haki) and/or get a new weapon (maybe Mjolnir). But at the end of Elbaf, it will turn into a Luffy arc and Luffy will find out he is only like a half-day behind Shanks.

Sad to say for Blackbeard, but in this setup Kidd absolutely stomps his crew. The only person who could potentially save them is Augur, who'd likely spot the shot readying and start warping members away. But even then, Kidd has never shown a speck of honor or need of a fair fight. He'll just keep bombarding the Blackbeard crew on the island.
I agree. Kidd mainly lost to Shanks because he decided to use a very powerful but slow attack which made Shanks speedblitz him. Against Blackbeard's crew, I believe he would perform better than Law. Same for Law against Shanks.
Not even close, Teach's sea quakes/tsunamis didn't stomp Law's ship because Law's ship is literally a submarine who can move underwater so Tsunami attacks work only little, Kid's ship can't escape underwater so it will get stomped before Kid can use awakening

The thing is, I doubt BB would actually sink the ship. He wanted the Poneglyph rubbings. I'm fairly certain the only reason he was throwing them around against Law was to force him to surface. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.
And if BB DOESNT immediately sink Kid's ship, then Kid will obliterate his. Meaning not only will BB be stranded (this is assuming Auvur saves the commanders, which he probably would) then he would likely lose Pudding (his only way for BB to read the Poneglyphs).
And Kid would just keep attacking. Not to mention the fact that Kid can literally fly, so even if BB sunk his ship, there's no guarantee that would stop Kid from coming after him.
Couldn't BB just consume all the metal Kidd throws at him, rendering Kidd's df useless? Or just teleport behind him and spam quakes or something?
I don't reckon Law would just hand over the poneglyphs to Shanks, man would never submit to someone like that.

These kinds of videos are always some of the best to watch since all the possibilities and potential is there, like Law going to Egghead or Kid or Shanks meeting Luffy earlier or Law lol
Luffy vs BB would have definitely happened if luffy would have chosen the middle path. No matter how responsible the crew is, Luffy always gets his way..think about recruitment of a literal skelaton....to top it all up, luffy would have seen this as a chance to get a revenge for ace and WB...

I absolutely love thinking about what if timelines that affect the story this big. Thyere so fun to think about
I think Luffy will get the opportunity to return the Straw Hat. In fact, I think it's gonna happen right before the final battle in One Piece. I'm starting to get the feeling that Blackbeard and his crew are a very epaborate red herring for Luffy's ultimate challenge, because it's actually Shanks that will be Luffy's true final obstacle, and that this is something both Luffy and Shanks have desired from the start. Like, maybe Luffy's declaration of gathering a crew as great as Shanks' was more than just wating to be as good as Shanks, but was intended as a direct challenge from Luffy to Shanks to become his rival and overcome him, and Shanks understood this perfectly and gave Luffy the Straw Hat as an acknowledgement of this. So the final battle will be Luffy vs Shanks, which will start after Luffy returns the hat to Shanks while promising him that he will still leave with it after winning it from him with his own strength. Maybe beating Shanks and truly earning the straw hat from him is the other dream that Luffy told his crew about that we as the audience have not yet been made aware of.

Bro imagine, the Davy Back Fight against the red hair pirates, would have been the greatest arc. We could have had a competition that was not rigged, with each of the red hair pirates showing off their skills. We could see a sniping competition where ussop gets to show off his skills to his father. We could see a race between Sanji and someone else on the crew, a bunch of other wacky challenges, which ends in a one on one, fight between shanks and Luffy

I dont mind luffy not meeting shanks yet, but it is sad that the strawhats chose a different path than elbaf as they have connections to it and especially part of usopps dream is going to elbaf

I feel like Kidd is a perfect match for Blackbeard since his fruit powers manipulate existing things. So no physical contact to have his fruit power removed and the quake fruit wouldn’t be able to do much since all his attacks are made of junk anyways.

Hey Liam, with Wapol possibly being an unlikely ally in the final saga, what do you think about doing a video in the same vein as this, about exploring the possibility of him potentially functioning as a fusion device for a pair of Straw Hats one day? (E.G. as a one time character gag and power up, he fuses Sanji and Zoro for them to fight someone, and they hate it.)
That last scene with luffy forever without a straw hat.... oh gawd
So the moral of the story is that no matter what path everyone picked, Kidd is screwed, and largely due his own personality

That's a nice hypothesis! There are a few things I would see differently though. First, for all his cunning and strategy, I don't think we've seen Law surrender. They might very well stay amicable but I don't believe he would simply surrender to Shanks... It's just not the pirate thing to do and he was also excited to take on black beard at some point. He could also trick him somehow but I don't see him passively being threatened.
I also don't see the straw hats passing on a fight against black beard even if they can, or maybe only if Usopp knoks out half the crew from behind... They just have too much of a history already and it's not the same as the Kaido situation, the fleet is not there.
In general I feel like there's no way any of those scenarios might have happened though (especially the ones involving the straw hats). Oda would not have just go on with logic, something surprising would have happened XD

Usopp has been missing for a while now but noone notices because they were too focused on trying to survive. luffy is beat up on the ground and let's say akainu is going to finish him off. something shoots his hand and it stops him, everyone looks around but nothing is seen in the horizon after seconds everyone starts sensing a trembling in the earth like some sort of an earthquake and they hear the impact of giant footsteps, after minutes they notice a shadow filling the horizon coming from the mist far away, it's all of the warriors of elbaf coming in an attack on titan rumbling manner, luffy barely opens his eyes and sees dory and brogy, he squizes them once more, and sees, the shadow of his friend on the shoulder of brogy, he really did it, he convinced the warriors of elbaf the mightiest army in the whole world to come and save them, they were mooved by his bravery and determination and they deem him worthy of leading them.

Imo, Kidd does have 1 slim chance of surviving Egghead, and that's sinking the entire island, since it's mostly metal at this point. Not a gairuntee, but possible I think.
This is sort of a strange wish, but I hope Luffy wears the straw hat a bit more often in the next arcs if he's going to give it to shanks at some point (that's IF he gets the chance and Shanks isn't already... you know)
