The strongest support for Crocomom theory is the sudden change in Crocodile’s behavior during Marineford after it was announced that Luffy is Dragon’s son. Croc came in clutch in a couple of moment, taking on formidable enemies for no apparent reason, delaying Ace’s execution and saving Luffy and Jimbei from Akainu.
Yeah like who fights an admiral to save a kid that ruined your life? Somthing else had to have motivated him besides "I don't want marines to win" imo.
My theory goes one step further and posits that Croc is Garp's biological daughter. And that Dragon was adopted by Garp, and raised separately. Croc and Dragon both leave their respective homes and later meet each other at Roger's execution. They fall in love and several years later Luffy pops out. Dragon and Croc seemingly never reveal their true name to anyone, so it's entirely possible they never knew they were both monkey Ds. Fast forward to Marineford and Sengoku announcing that Dragon Luffy and Garp are all related. From Croc's perspective, not knowing Dragon was adopted, Croc might believe that they had accidentally created an incest baby all those years ago. And IMO, that's why Croc looked like they were about to throw up after intercepting Milhawk, saying they were having a bad day. Dragon was probably adopted by Garp after being found unconscious at God Valley. Mirroring the way Dragon found Sabo. I think he's either Rocks' kid, like many have theorized, or perhaps Shanks' brother. This could explain why Shanks was keeping an eye on Luffy specifically.
How could you not mention Blackbeard’s teeth constantly changing? It’s one of the biggest hints he’s multiple people since Oda always draws teeth certain ways
Yeah bro that shit is crazy I knew he had 3 heads since I was in hs 10 years ago bro that’s the only thing that makes sense bro lol he already has 3 devil fruits bro 🙏🏼🙏🏼
My theory is he ate a mythical zoan fruit first. Inu inu no mi model:cerberus. Three headed hound of Hades. It would allow him to eat 2 more devil fruits.
@jesperskov4614 Yeah, I would be fine with it never being addressed or brought up either way. I just hope the big mysterious things in OP are explained/explored, and then I'll be over the moon
I mean at this point it's chekov's gun to have it mention not only in the story as the important thing that changed Croco's mind but also the vivre card.
I always assumed that Kuinas “falling down the stairs with her swords” death was just a cover up because she ended her own life since she was so upset about being a woman swordsman
What if Dragon is actually Luffy's mother? Then Rocks could be Dragon's father and Dragon could have gotten the last Name Monkey from Garp's son. Ivankov is on Dragon's crew afterall so its possible
The Kuina theory never made sense to me because Kuina wasnt even born yet when Mihawk and Shanks were rivals. The CrocoMom theory has always been the intriguing one because Oda said we've already seen Luffy's mom so it would make sense if Croc is revealed to be the missing link.
@leespn4396 hey, I had posted a reply with a link but youtube apparently deleted it automatically. But long story short, Oda had talked about it in an interview and the reason why he hasn't made her and Dragon big deals (yet) is to not put the focus of the story on them. But admittedly the translation could've been misinterpreted but he did say he's already shown both of them several times. You should be able to find several articles on in if you search luffy mother but I the one I tried to post was from sportskeeda.
@@leespn4396 There was an interview where Oda was talking about Sabo, Luffy, and Ace as kids and essentially said that the lady that raised them was more or less Luffy's mom (or the only mother figure he needed from Oda's perspective) and when they asked if we'd ever see his mom in the story he said that we'd already seen her, it just wasn't important and he didn't want the story to focus on parental lineage stuff.
The one piece being a bottle of alcohol is ab interesting idea, the reason Roger and his crew were "too soon" when they reached laugh tale was because the alcohol had not been aged properly yet
For Shanks arriving at Marineford, I've always assumed he had used his connection to the World Government to go over the Red Line, which may have potentially been faster. Even if we take Film RED with a grain of salt, it's clear he has some sway with them, to the point even the Five Elders were willing to sit down and talk with him.
I always thought because his whole crew isn’t devil fruit users they use the really fast currents underwater. I think they were called the dragon currents robin talked about when they were diving down to fishman island.
Besides the WG connections there's another possibility. It was established recently, that the marines aren't allowed to attack an emperor in most situations. What if Shanks simply used that loophole to get access to faster currents the Marines control, as well as their gates to go through the Red Line?
Another clue for "sake piece"; the word "waraibanashi" used in the japanese version of the song, while translated as "our funny traveling tale" in the english version, can be read as "laugh tale", the name of the final island. Roger named the island after Bink's sake, because it is the place where Joyboy stashed all the sake he brewed to celebrate the defeat of the world government, although he never got the opportunity to drink it himself.
Dak's Sake had a really good take on Crocodile being genderswapped. He said that Crocodile was genderswapped not because he is Luffy's mom but because he is Rocks' daughter.
I agree it gives it away, but it's a mythical zoan model Kraken. Octopuses sleep in 20 second bursts which makes them appear like they don't sleep, octopuses have three hearts which could justify how he can have three fruits, his flag has three skulls and 8 bone limbs mimicking the octo limbs and hearts. Hiding for the right moment is exactly how an octopus acts in the wild. Unlike a Cerberus which is meant to guard something in mythos. The similarities between him and Octopuses go on, where I can't say the same for Cereberus. Also the Cereberus not sleeping doesn't hit because there are cases of Cereberus sleeping in mythos. Plus it's Oda fashion for the first thing the Straw Hats fight once sailing into the new world is a Kraken and the final boss of the new world is also a Kraken. It's my head canon until proven otherwise lol.
@@ImAviex octopus doesn't have any skull or bones. A sleeping cerberus is so rare that it is a very special occasion and it takes special way to make them asleep. Also an octopus is still considered One creature, where as a cerberus could be considered as "them"
It is decades now but I still think that the line about BlackBeard be "not him but them" was referred not to BB's multiplicity but rather to the other members of his crew around that could join him and therefore "the menace isn't him, it's them"
@@Miraihi That is true, the flag is an unexplored fact, I don't rember if the Rock's flag is known... to understand if the BB's one is done in a way for an "inheritance reason" rather than a litherally one
I love the RayleighxShakky=Mihawk story, particularly as it gives a reason for a peaceful outcome of the battle for the title of 'Greatest Swordman'. Regarding Rayleigh and Mihawk clothing, when we see the west blue kingdom in 1089, the flowery style and cape fashion sense seems to be shared there. Maybe, it's Oda's way of saying that they have a heritage connection in that sea?
I’m a huge supporter in the 3 black beard theory, not just in his possible relation to the Barbarossa brothers in real life but it just makes sense for how he was able to formed a crew so quickly after leaving the WB pirates. It could also help with my old theory that black beard could only use observation Haki and he was using his fruits to supplement armourment and conquerors Haki. Each brother struggles with one form so they get the fruit to make up for it
There's an error in this video. Garp did reference Dragon as his son. In chapter 1087 "Battleship Bags", there's a flashback where Garp complains to Kuzan that his son became a revolutionary
he could hypothetically have meant son-in-law, and he just considers him defacto family now. Of course, for that to work, Crocodile would have to have been Garp's daughter, and then changed her name after...
The One Piece being sake isn’t one I’ve heard before, but it does dovetail nicely with my own personal theory: that Binks was in fact the real name of the original Joyboy.
For the longest time now I thought Croc O Boy is Luffy's maternal uncle and he was possibly saved by Dragon, Kuma, Ivankov and the rest of the Revolutionary Army at some point when they were all young. I have a feeling they saved him somehow and he owes a life debt to them. Also, there's an SBS of young/teen Croc reading a newspaper after his defeat to WB and he looks suspiciously similar to Luffy and in that same SBS Oda said that out of all the pirates in OP Croc O Boy was the most similar to Luffy growing up, interesting lol very interesting
So Liam, I only remembered this since it’s new but in Manga 1087 Battleship Bags, when Garp and Kuzan are training Garps says “my son became a revolutionary dammit!!”. As it pertains to the point on him not referring to dragon as his son. BUT he called Ace his grandson and he’s got zero shared blood, so the point could still stand.
Dragon has been stated as garp's son because garp did say that his son became a revolutionary and his grandaon wants to become a pirate in the recent chapter.
In chapter 1087 during a flashback, Garp tells Kuzan while training that his son became a revolutionary and how his grandson wants to become a pirate. I think safe to say Dragon is for sure Garps son
There is a lot of stuff around travel that's still somewhat unexplained in One Piece, not just the Shanks thing. Like how one travels back from the grand line over Reverse mountain, or just how a lot of people seem to pass in and out of the both parts of the grand line very often without much explanation as if there are more ways to cross the red line and calm belt we haven't seen yet. Maybe the Amazons play some yet not shown smuggling role with their ability to exist within the calm belt here. E.g Robin was in East blue during the timeskip suggesting the rev army either has a way to cross the calm belt or somehow travelled reverse mountain and went through the whole grand line again to get back without saying hi to Laboon.
This may be unrelated and out of the blue but what if in chapter 1072, the girl Dr. Vegapunk at the beginning of the chapter talking about was Lilith? Out of all vegapunk, she seems to be most expressive in terms of emotion although her personality is based on "evil". She showed sorrow to the dead vegapunk, cried for edision . She also got excited when talking about leaving the island. Maybe oda is driving the story towards all the vegapunk dying except her and she joins the strawhat. Maybe we even get a emotional interaction between her and original stellar body where stellar says "out of all the satellites, you are the most humane . carry my will" or something like that. But it may not happen. We just have to wait to find out.
Imagine Roger going back home from Laugh Tale stating they're too early, just to find out it was sake that hadn't been aged long enough to be considered 'good'...
There is one piece (!) of evidence to support Crocomom: for some reason, Crocodile changes side twice in Marineford and he protects Luffy and Jinbe from Akainu. When asked about this his response was really vague, but realistically he would have learned about Luffy's relation to Dragon during the war, which could've been what made him turn.
Conquerors Haki being the explanation for Shanks' sudden movement from the new world to Marinerford is a bit convoluted tbh, it would make more sense to be a devil fruit user and my immediate thought was maybe he got help from the previous user of the warp warp fruit that Van Auger now has. Also, there was very recently a Garp flashback where he straight up called Dragon his son to Kuzan.
But Luffy said to Kaido, "I want to create a world where my friends can eat as much as they want!" but when people thought that was his dream Oda had Luffy say his dream to his crew without telling us to show that is in fact not his dream. Also the Straw Hats reactions would be weird if that's all it was especially Zoro's and Sanji's. To me it's probably something like, "I'll create a world where EVERYONE is a pirate!" because to Luffy his joy and sense of freedom come from being a pirate and the idea of that is absurd, which is why the reactions from everyone makes sense.
@@ImAviex That’s a really good theory. I could totally see an ending where everyone is liberated from the world government, thus removing any authority to be subjected to. I’m just wondering what the One Piece is and how it relates to whatever Luffy’s dream is. (Assuming they are related and finding the One Piece isn’t just Luffy’s idea of what he has to be able accomplish in order to fulfill his dream) No matter what though, I’d rather be surprised by an unforeseen resolution than have my theory confirmed.
The weird thing about crocodile is he was willing to use everyone and do anything to claim whitebeards life upon escaping impel down, but the moment Luffy's connection about being Dragon's son was made public to the whole world suddenly, croco boy turned a 180 started helping Luffy first when ace was about to be executed he fling sand and pushed back the executioners, 2nd when mihawk was about to slice Luffy he parried the attack when asked why by Mihawk, he just plainly said "am pissed off right now you better watch yourself" then there's fighting doflamingo, slicing off Akainu in half and lifting Jimbe with a sandstorm with Luffy telling him "protect what you want to protect at any cost" if you think about it crocodile did the most to protect Luffy and help him save ace during war of the best than anyone else.
I do still like the Blackbeard Cerberus theory more than the 3-people theory. Just because it both, explains him having a way to have 3 fruits (1 for each head), as well as gives him a zoan to round out the trifecta of fruit-types.
I feel like this isn’t the first time we’ve heard the Crocomom theory be discussed on this channel. Which is a strange indicator of how weirdly persistent the theory is
Actually Crocodile being Luffy's mom does have some additional support that was skipped over here. Mainly that Crocodile starts defending Luffy at Marineford specifically and only after discovering who Luffy's father is. You can ascribe this to other motives but one of the best explanations for the sudden flip in priorities is realizing Luffy is his child. Plus it would just be hilarious for "I have a dad?" Luffy to actually have two dads.
He said he didn’t want the marines to win, and since right now he’s putting bounties on their heads… I think it could be a valid reason. Also you people are implying that he put a bounty on his father’s head (garp) 💀
What if the One Piece is a neverending bottle of sake? It would certainly make throwing a party for everyone in the world (my idea of what Luffy's true dream is) much easier to pull off.
My solution for Blackbeard still hasn't been disproven and goes with the "3 Blackbeards" thing: Chimerism. While not common by any means Chimerism in humans occurs often enough that Oda could have easily heard about it and thought "hey, that'd mean multiple devil fruits!" Which kind of tracks for how Oda loves to implement weird phenomena that he has learned about.
Kuina is Tashigi. That's my theory and she did fall down the stairs, entered a coma then her father decided to send her for treatment with the government which leads to her joining the Navy, and subconsciously remembered her training but not her past. As a dad, keeping her from being hurt, her dad would have probably decided sword fighting was too dangerous after she nearly died. He only told Zoro she died because he knew Zoro wouldn't be satisfied with that choice and would have never gave up on regaining her memories holding them both back while potentially putting Kuina in danger. *Similar to Kuina, Tashigi's name comes from the name of a flightless bird called the Common Snipe (田鴫, Tashigi)* That's why I feel this is the most likely fan theory, one I've also come to on my own but expanded with other's who see the same thing. I'm not taking credit, I have no idea who posited it first, just always been my hunch too.
Kuina is a Water Rail (Asian bird). Tashigi is both a European bird and a euphemism for a bird that doesn't exist in the US where snipe hunting is basically a ruse. Take a look at a picture of both birds, I'm no ornithologist, but they look waaaaay too similar, and that's no coincidence.
that would also be the best excuse for Kuina not EVER being mentioned in the story since her introduction...Zoro's flashback was a dream he told nobody about, none of the Straw Hats even know Zoro's reason for his dream and only very rarely he mentioned "a promise made to a friend" and even that's been ages ago. *Nobody* except Zoro (and the few people at Shimotsuki Village) knows about Kuina, and Tashigi has been the only one he at least told that she was a swordwoman and that they look alike...ngl i really want this theory to be true mostly for the fact that the backstory hit me really hard (which was literally 20 years ago) and while Zoro has the excuse of being very stoic and carrying her will on his shoulders alone, but only Kuina=Tashigi would excuse Oda seemingly forgetting about her because it would mean he did it with intention. Along with Usopp meeting his father, this has been the most severe case of "a pay-off that has to happen eventually...EVENTUALLY" and Tashigi is the only person that connects Zoro's ambition back to Kuina
Actually, it's recently been revealed that Dragon is indeed Garp's son. In a flashback of chapter 1087 Garp does mention to Kuzan that his son became a revolutionary, clearly refering to Dragon.
Another hint at Teach/Blackbeard having multiple personalities is flashback during Wano arc when Whitebeard crew fought Roger's. Kid Shanks and Bucky were talking about Teach while looking at him, and Bucky insisted Teach never ever sleeps. If we're going with the 3 personalities, you could assume the personalities sleep while not dominant.
The part that supports Croc being Luffys mom is that in Marineford there was no reason for Croc to help out the Whitebeard pirates, especially since he wanted to kill him personally. Curiously we have not seen Croc oppose any on the pirate side since Luffy has been revealed to be the son of dragon. So, there, that's the reason for the extra mile.
It makes total sense because Luffy never shouts his full name, social security number, and where he sees himself in 10 years ( aka King of the Pirates) to his enemies during battle.
@@godiloveminininjas4278 yes he tried killing Luffy in Alabasta. And he tried killing Whitebeard as soon as he arrived in Marineford. He didn't care at all if the navy wins or not. And he hated or didn't give a fuck for Luffy after the whole Alabasta thing, only helped them a little bit because of Ivan-chan. BUT after getting to know that Luffy was Dragons son he made complete turn, let go of Whitebeard, saved Ace one time and Luffy multiple times even against Akainu. So there is Definitely a connection between Croc and Dragon. If a romantic relationship that ended with a child is the most reasonable explanation for that, is the more debatable thing.
he just hates the navy, helping someone for no reason doesn’t mean you’re someone’s mother, it’s just that luffy helped him break out aswell that could be a reason
There are some parts of Marineford where Croc mentions fighting for something they love while defending Luffy that is just interesting for the Crocomom theory. My favorite theory is also from Marineford, and has to do with the talk Roger and Garp have where it seems to imply Garp is related to Ace or his mom. Roger tells Garp he will help protect his family, because they are precious to him too. Though I'm also convinced that Sakazuki does have a tie to Garp, they look a lot alike and have similar mannerisms. Sakazuki also acts like Dragon a bit with his non verbal stances and seemingly is on par woth Kuzan who we know Garp trained.
Crocomom theory was always one of the weirder theories to me because it implies that the moment Crocodile gave birth they just dumped Luffy on dragon before naming him, sex changed, ran off and either completely forgot that they gave birth or never even once heard Dragon's last name, although with One Piece parents that's actually kinda believable.
Why the fuck do people say the One Piece is a bottle of sake? That makes no sense to me. If it’s a vast treasure supposed to unite the world, it should be a great mountain of barrels upon barrels of sake; Enough to share a toast of brotherhood with the entire world.
Luffy's final goal must be to sail his pirate ship to the moon, I can't really imagine it being anything else. Makes sense for Roger's dream, makes sense why people think it's ridiculous at first hearing, and it makes sense why Ace, Sabo, Shanks and the Straw Hats believe he will actually do it. It's the greatest unknown adventure after all No idea what the One Piece could actually be, no idea what and where Laugh Tale is or how anything in the One Piece world could help with that goal or why Roger was "too soon", but if you want to sail to the moon you'd better be sure that you're the free-est man on the seas first! The moon is the only thing above the gods! Plus Enel's cover story has mysteries to unravel, and we know that Oda will probably get around to answering them. After adding a bunch more mysteries first of course. I bet the ancient kingdom either came from the moon and/or went there during the void century too
Liam, another argument for Croco-mom theory is that he started helping Luffy right after Sengoku announced luffy's name. The explanation given was that he didn't want the navy to win. If you, support useful people like Whitebeard and Marco and not luffy, who isn't even top 30 in that war. He even stopped mihawk and risked daz bone's life trying to stop mihawk. A counter argument is that why didn't crocodile know luffy's identity from his monkey surname but even dragon's best friend Ivankov didn't know anything about his family and background.
Also, that Crocodile said he had a has a bad mood after figuring out that Luffy is related to Dragon. Which could be because he just learned he almost killed his son.
It just doesn’t make any sense with the Crocomom theory. Maybe Crocodile once being female and getting the treatment be Ivokov makes sense, but Luffy being his son. No way
I think the only thing that Crocodile owes Ivankov for, is probably saving his life after getting defeated by Whitebeard. He probably used the Healing and Tension Hormone on Croco-boy because there is no way Crocodile could've survived with nasty scar across his face given to him by Whitebeard.
In that case he'd definitely owe Ivankov a favour, but that is not really an emberassing secret, or a meaningful secret in general. There is no shame in being defeated and needing serious medical attention if your opponent was Whitebeard, the worlds strongest man capable of destroying the world and all that.
I still have a problem with the whole “BB is actually three people” based of the “they” reference in Mock Town. Isn’t the simple answer to who Luffy was referring to and that would be BB AND his crew. The stawhats encounter BB crew without knowing they were all connected until it clicked with Luffy and Zoro. That’s my hot take on it. It would fit nicely with the whole kraken devil fruit and never needing to sleep as well as other reasons.
But he definitely was alone at that moment... Why would it be relevant that it's "them" anyway if they guessed he was a captain ? Still, I wonder how these post Alabasta Luffy and Zoro could somehow sense something about BB being multiple people, and yet they somehow found something, and it's been around 20 years that we don't really know what it is
One thing that I find curious about Crocodile is that his seraphim has the same scar, which suggests that he gave it to himself, which is curiously something that members of the Monkey family seem to do for some reason. It doesn't prove anything, but it's still curious.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the Rocks D Dragon theory was recently disproved. I’m pretty sure Garp referred to Dragon as his son a few weeks ago when he and Kuzan were punching the battleship bags. From memory what he said was still somewhat ambiguous like “my son has become a revolutionary” so he could theoretically have been talking about someone other than Dragon, but the clear implication was that he was talking about Dragon.
Something else that would support Mihawk being Raileigh's son is a panel in chapter 966, where Roger picks up Hiyori saying he hasn't spent time with a baby in ages, while Raileigh remarks how it reminds him of the old days
I have an update for the kuina theory that the original mihawk died into a fight and ivankov knew that the world wasnt ready so he did that thing with kuina
I thought falling down the stairs was a euphemism for suicide, the strangeness ,the complete lack of reason for her death the fact that its never explained or explored in the manga ,the sudden death that leaves such a massive hole in the story in of itself is the medium of exploring the topic of suicide like you can only understand it by its consequences in zoro and her father .something that oda hasn't done elsewhere with any other theme is to not come back to it later.when zoro beats mihawk maybe he might finally talk about it or maybe its better as art if it remains unsaid idk?
The Garp never saying Dragon is his son is no longer true as of the Aokiji flashback. Assuming that wasn’t a liberty of translation. Garp has now, once, called Dragon his son. Admittedly, it’s a real blink and miss it moment with everything else going on in that chapter.
I like the Blackbeard has an octopus mythical zoan model kraken theory. Not only do octopi have 3 hearts, but eight legs like the bones on Blackbeard's flag. The kraken is known for dragging ships to the bottom of the sea, and his power has similar traits with its inky darkness that pulls everything in. It would explain his lack of a logia or paramecia definition, why he takes extra damage on land but is also tough. The three hearts could be how he houses multiple devil fruit within him. I haven't heard a better explanation for Blackbeard. The only part that's unanswered is his lack of sleep, but it could be the three hearts alternate their sleep cycles over him and two sleep while one wakes. Blackbeard's ability to spit up everything he's devoured is much like a wrecked ship washing ashore after being dragged to Davy Jones locker. You got better? Share!
The whole Down D Stairs thing always bothered me because I fully don't believe that it was ACTUAL stairs that she died from, that it was suicide. Because falling down the stairs in Japanese culture is often a metaphor for suicide.
I think one of the first signs that the Red Line was possibly manmade was that when the Straw Hats were going up Reverse Mountain, there was like architecture along the sides. It made it seem like at the very least, somebody carved reverse mountain and created the flow of water from the four Seas into the Grand Line. Combine this with Sanji's Dream of finding the All Blue and Sharly's fortune telling that Luffy is going to destroy Fishman Island (Maryjois is like right above Fishman island on top of the Red Line) and it all makes a decently compelling argument that the Red Line is going to be destroyed. Whether or not the thing is manmade is a different argument.
I believe that the whole "haha Kuina died in the stairs for lols" was memed too much that obscured the intended sad reality of her story, I always though about that she brutally trained in secret soo hard to not lose to zoro that just one day collapse and died, is very tragic that the will to live of hers ends up killing it in the end
ok for people who makes theories about kuina. kuina is dead , the she fell from the stairs thing is a euphemism for suicide. its usually said in schools by teachers to kids, " oh nabohito isn't coming back to school in a long while he fell down on a stairs , he's hurt and needs to go to a hospital ten towns over " something like that. so tldr kuina killed herself. and oda wrote zoro to know this , thats why he is adamant on reaching his dreams , cause in his mind kuina is stronger than him. if he manage to beat mihawk then in his mind kuina could definitely could do it too if she is living.
Garp said in Chapter 1087 "Cant believe my son's a damn revolutionary now".. So I think it's confirmed that he is Dragons father, not the father of his wife/Luffy mum..
Someone actually posted a really interesting theory video i saw not long about, the once piece is actually an Afro. The idea is that Laugh Tale is actually inside a whale, and the reason why its impossible to get to is because that whale only goes to a specific place at a specific time, meaning its impossible for you to find it without already knowing. This whale is actually named Davy Jones or some variation, a thing cursed to scour the bottom of the ocean scooping up treasure. Like Zunisha, Davey is tasked with that fate, and is also required to go to a specific place once a year. To figure out where, and why an afro, the theory actually looks into the quirk of Oda, in that he hides certain things in plain sight as insignificant things only later explaining them as significant, namely about Luffys Devil fruit, Sun God Nika, and how that one time at a party Luffy was cast as a shadow with smooth curved arms just like Nika in front of the sun was shown to have. Well, it turns out there is one arc that ties a lot of these things together, and that is Foxy and the DAVEY back fight. Long ring Long land is an island where everything is tall and thin, and and it is referenced as being "free", as they are Stretched out. Perhaps Nika warped reality on that island to make it such. This is also where the Davey back fight happened with Foxy, the Davey back fight named in homage to the Mythical Davey Jones. Perhaps named because during the inception of the game, Joy Boy was forced to play it to get Davey jones, his pet whale, back. It also conveniently offers an explanation for the Aqua Laguna, as a Supermassive whale surfacing would absolutely create a supermassive tidal wave, and why it so regularly happens at the same time every year. And so, among all the other odd and insignificant things, It was only during the final fight, Luffy put on an AFRO to give him power, and won. Brook has also been shown infront of a sun causing everyone to smile when sang and danced, his Afro being clearly important to him as well. Finally, a group of pirates like the Roger pirates seeing the story, discover the true one piece is in actual one piece, an Afro that Joy Boy cared for as much as Brook does his own, would absolutely cause them to burst out laughing.

'Oer across the oceans tide Rays of sunshine far and wide Birds they sing Of cheerful things In circles passing by Bid farewell to weavers town Say so long to port renowned Sing a song It won't be long Before we're casting off Cross the gold and silver seas The salty spray puts us at ease Day and night To our delight The voyage never ends Yohohoho yohohoho Yohohoho yohohoho Gather up all of the crew It's time to ship out BInk's brew Pirates we Eternally Are challenging the sea With the waves to rest our heads Ship beneath us as our beds Hoisted high Upon the mast Our Jolly Roger flies Somewhere in the endless sky Stormy winds are blowin' by Waves are dancing Evening comes It's time to sound the drums But steady men, and never fear Tomorrow's skies are always clear So pound your feet And clap your hands Till sunny days return Yohohoho yohohoho Yohohoho yohohoho Gather up all of the crew It's time to ship out Bink's brew Wave goodbye But don't you cry Our memories remain Our days are but a passing dream Ever lasting though they seem Beneath the moon We'll meet again The wind's our lullaby Gather up all of the crew It's time to ship out Bink's brew Sing a song And play along For all the ocean's wide After all is said and done You'll end up a skeleton So spread your tale From dawn till dusk Upon these foamy seas Yohohoho yohohoho Yohohoho yohohoho Yohohoho yohohoho A bit excessive to write the entire song (I know) but those lyrics are nowhere to be seen!
Crocomom theory actually has hints in the marineford fight. Kuina's father never actually believed what he said, he knew she was listening and used it to prevent her from getting conceited.
“Down D. Stairs” had me chuckling harder than I care to admit…
What do you mean?! That was absolute genius.
So funny
Bro that Sh** is 20 years old by now
Lmao no lie that was hilarious!
Mihawk was there when roger died! He can’t be Kohina
The strongest support for Crocomom theory is the sudden change in Crocodile’s behavior during Marineford after it was announced that Luffy is Dragon’s son. Yeah like who fights an admiral to save a kid that ruined your life? Somthing else had to have motivated him besides "I don't want marines to win" imo.
It was all jokes and giggles until that moment.
He could have a one-sided crush on Luffy's mom though, like Snape with Harry

The Kuina theory never made sense to me because Kuina wasnt even born yet when Mihawk and Shanks were rivals. The CrocoMom theory has always been the intriguing one because Oda said we've already seen Luffy's mom so it would make sense if Croc is revealed to be the missing link.
When did oda say that?
@leespn4396 hey, I had posted a reply with a link but youtube apparently deleted it automatically. But long story short, Oda had talked about it in an interview and the reason why he hasn't made her and Dragon big deals (yet) is to not put the focus of the story on them. But admittedly the translation could've been misinterpreted but he did say he's already shown both of them several times. You should be able to find several articles on in if you search luffy mother but I the one I tried to post was from sportskeeda.
Small problem: If this is true, CROCODILE PUT A F*CKING HOOK THROUGH HIS SON AND ASSUMED HE DIED WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT! WTF IS UP WITH HIM!?
I’m not against the CrocoMom theory but I can’t get behind it because there’s simply no evidence within the story.

Or they arrived before the Government Fell so couldn't drink it. All this booze, and you can't drink a drop! Hilarious.
A bottle of alcohol meant to celebrate the end of the world government, yeah it’s still too soon.
So why did Rodger say he was to early? Why didn’t his crew drink any? Why did it make Everyone laugh?

blackbeard ability to not sleep is a dead giveaway of his true power.. A cerberus never sleeps, least there is one head that stays on guard duty

Each brother struggles with one form so they get the fruit to make up for it
There's an error in this video. Garp did reference Dragon as his son. In chapter 1087 "Battleship Bags", there's a flashback where Garp complains to Kuzan that his son became a revolutionary

Of course, for that to work, Crocodile would have to have been Garp's daughter, and then changed her name after...
The One Piece being sake isn’t one I’ve heard before, but it does dovetail nicely with my own personal theory: that Binks was in fact the real name of the original Joyboy.
I won't be surprised if Oda will surprise us with a different reveal of what's going on between Crocodile and Ivankov.

Therefore the note in the video, that this theory has been debunked by now.

Probably not the "pure chaotic evil" kind and more like "tragic backstory evil who loves her friends"
The fact that Ivankov in Impel Down kept on calling Crocodile "Croco-boy" made that theory even more convincing.
"I fell down some stairs."
"No you didn't."
"Shut up before I throw you down a flight!"

Also, there was very recently a Garp flashback where he straight up called Dragon his son to Kuzan.

Personally, I think that the Luffy’s dream has something to do with making food available to everyone in the world.
Lmao his dream is welfare 😂 hope he gets it
But Luffy said to Kaido, "I want to create a world where my friends can eat as much as they want!" but when people thought that was his dream Oda had Luffy say his dream to his crew without telling us to show that is in fact not his dream.
I love how some of these theories start super probable but then they throw in a bonus detail that goes too far 😂
I could see Sake Piece and the World Party theories coming together. But instead of just one bottle of sake. It's a lifetime supply of it 😳
I do still like the Blackbeard Cerberus theory more than the 3-people theory. Just because it both, explains him having a way to have 3 fruits (1 for each head), as well as gives him a zoan to round out the trifecta of fruit-types.
I think the octopus theory works better, he has 8 bones around the skulls so 8 legs, and octopus have 3 hearts. So 3 wills for 3 devil fruits.
But Garp did refer to Dragon as his son a few chapters ago, when he was moaning to Aokiji that his son is a revolutionary and his grandson a pirate
Oh chapter 1087 according to Mangaplus translation, Garp for the first time refers to Dragon as son "I can't believe my son's become a revolutionary"
I will always be ready for Crocomon
1:46 Ah yes, the strongest one piece character
Down D. Stairs ❤😂
*Similar to Kuina, Tashigi's name comes from the name of a flightless bird called the Common Snipe (田鴫, Tashigi)*
That's why I feel this is the most likely fan theory, one I've also come to on my own but expanded with other's who see the same thing.
Tashigi is too weak for being Kuina
I’ll honestly believe Blackbeard is Rocks’ son before thinking he’s a clone. If anything he possibly has MPD on top of permanent Insomnia.
Actually, it's recently been revealed that Dragon is indeed Garp's son. In a flashback of chapter 1087 Garp does mention to Kuzan that his son became a revolutionary, clearly refering to Dragon.
Didn't Garp already drop those pieces all the way back in Water 7?
Makes no sense anyway. He tried killing Luffy in Alabasta. This is so stupid. He just didn’t want the navy to taste victory
Y'all just making shit up
he just hates the navy, helping someone for no reason doesn’t mean you’re someone’s mother, it’s just that luffy helped him break out aswell that could be a reason

Dude, as a newbie to one piece you cant comprehend how mind blowing this quote was, and omg how you just passed so fast through it
There are some parts of Marineford where Croc mentions fighting for something they love while defending Luffy that is just interesting for the Crocomom theory.
The Straw Hats are gonna be laughing like the Roger Pirates when they see the One Piece is just a bottle of sake. But I’d be all here for it.
It's the greatest unknown adventure after all
No idea what the One Piece could actually be, no idea what and where Laugh Tale is or how anything in the One Piece world could help with that goal or why Roger was "too soon", but if you want to sail to the moon you'd better be sure that you're the free-est man on the seas first! The moon is the only thing above the gods!
Plus Enel's cover story has mysteries to unravel, and we know that Oda will probably get around to answering them. After adding a bunch more mysteries first of course. I bet the ancient kingdom either came from the moon and/or went there during the void century too
5:00 Watched too many Tekking videos back in the days and I was sure you were gonna say "and you know what, maybe even WANG ZHI"
I think Crocodile saved Luffy maybe because he was friends with Dragon at one point in time
@@Neo-Queenserenityt2lBrother in law I think. I reckon Croc is Luffy's maternal uncle.
Well right now he’s out there putting bounties on marines, I think him “not wanting the marines to win” would not be so out of character 😅
I guess, but that would imply Crocodile never knew Dragon's full name because just hearing Monkey D Luffy should have let him know.
It just doesn’t make any sense with the Crocomom theory. Maybe Crocodile once being female and getting the treatment be Ivokov makes sense, but Luffy being his son. No way
I can't understand how every video has such an amazing edit
Especially the art

Omg giving Crocodile his “Will of D.” has me on the floor I’m dying 😂😂😂
I think the only thing that Crocodile owes Ivankov for, is probably saving his life after getting defeated by Whitebeard. He probably used the Healing and Tension Hormone on Croco-boy because there is no way Crocodile could've survived with nasty scar across his face given to him by Whitebeard.
In that case he'd definitely owe Ivankov a favour, but that is not really an emberassing secret, or a meaningful secret in general. There is no shame in being defeated and needing serious medical attention if your opponent was Whitebeard, the worlds strongest man capable of destroying the world and all that.
Bonnie is threatening people by looking like Big Mom implying they are somewhat the same.
I always figured it was both. Like Luffy and Zoro realized he had a crew but Oda was also hinting at the idea of more than one soul in a body.
Seeing as there are people like Big Mom it seems like Kuina just needed to try more
Jimbei needs his Saki cup toast
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the Rocks D Dragon theory was recently disproved. I’m pretty sure Garp referred to Dragon as his son a few weeks ago when he and Kuzan were punching the battleship bags. From memory what he said was still somewhat ambiguous like “my son has become a revolutionary” so he could theoretically have been talking about someone other than Dragon, but the clear implication was that he was talking about Dragon.
Hence the note
It's written in the video ffs
Something else that would support Mihawk being Raileigh's son is a panel in chapter 966, where Roger picks up Hiyori saying he hasn't spent time with a baby in ages, while Raileigh remarks how it reminds him of the old days

So, if in theory Dragon is not Garp's son and he had a daughter... Then Crocodile is Garps' daughter!
Congrats to Bogard finally having his official name in the One Piece Live Action
I’ve never heard the Mihawk!Kuina theory but I’ve heard the Zoro was Kuina theory and her “death” was Zoro transitioning and Kuina is a “dead” name
I'm calling it now a panel of Zoro walking over to the infamous bottle of sake and unceremoniously chugging it, blank face
Down D. Stairs actually made me LOL
This guy is funny
I believe that the whole "haha Kuina died in the stairs for lols" was memed too much that obscured the intended sad reality of her story, I always though about that she brutally trained in secret soo hard to not lose to zoro that just one day collapse and died, is very tragic that the will to live of hers ends up killing it in the end
“Down d stairs” i love getting reminded why I’m subscribed to you 🫶🏼
ok for people who makes theories about kuina.
kuina is dead , the she fell from the stairs thing is a euphemism for suicide.
its usually said in schools by teachers to kids, " oh nabohito isn't coming back to school in a long while he fell down on a stairs , he's hurt and needs to go to a hospital ten towns over "
something like that. so tldr kuina killed herself. and oda wrote zoro to know this , thats why he is adamant on reaching his dreams , cause in his mind kuina is stronger than him. if he manage to beat mihawk then in his mind kuina could definitely could do it too if she is living.
Garp actually called Dragon his son during the fight with Kuzan
Down D. Stairs killed me 😂😂
4:26 I think Weevil looks like Whitebeard, if Queen sneezed in the cloning tank.
Garp said in Chapter 1087 "Cant believe my son's a damn revolutionary now"..
So I think it's confirmed that he is Dragons father, not the father of his wife/Luffy mum..
the Down D. Stairs line had me ROLLING xDxDxD
Or more recently for the crocomom theory it could be crocodiles freedom, and crocodile is too afraid to admit that he was a slave
13:45 How many english translations does Bink's brew have and which is the correct? The one I heard from the dub was:
Yohohoho yohohoho
Yohohoho yohohoho
Gather up all of the crew
It's time to ship out Bink's brew
Sea wind blows
To where? Who knows
The waves will be our guide!
'Oer across the oceans tide
Rays of sunshine far and wide
Birds they sing
Of cheerful things
In circles passing by
Bid farewell to weavers town
Say so long to port renowned
Sing a song
It won't be long
Before we're casting off
Cross the gold and silver seas
The salty spray puts us at ease
Day and night
To our delight
The voyage never ends
Yohohoho yohohoho
Yohohoho yohohoho
Gather up all of the crew
It's time to ship out BInk's brew
Pirates we
Eternally
Are challenging the sea
With the waves to rest our heads
Ship beneath us as our beds
Hoisted high
Upon the mast
Our Jolly Roger flies
Somewhere in the endless sky
Stormy winds are blowin' by
Waves are dancing
Evening comes
It's time to sound the drums
But steady men, and never fear
Tomorrow's skies are always clear
So pound your feet
And clap your hands
Till sunny days return
Yohohoho yohohoho
Yohohoho yohohoho
Gather up all of the crew
It's time to ship out Bink's brew
Wave goodbye
But don't you cry
Our memories remain
Our days are but a passing dream
Ever lasting though they seem
Beneath the moon
We'll meet again
The wind's our lullaby
Gather up all of the crew
It's time to ship out Bink's brew
Sing a song
And play along
For all the ocean's wide
After all is said and done
You'll end up a skeleton
So spread your tale
From dawn till dusk
Upon these foamy seas
Yohohoho yohohoho
Yohohoho yohohoho
Yohohoho yohohoho
A bit excessive to write the entire song (I know) but those lyrics are nowhere to be seen!
Crocomom theory actually has hints in the marineford fight.
Kuina's father never actually believed what he said, he knew she was listening and used it to prevent her from getting conceited.
The three headed judge from enies lobby might be foreshadowing for blackbeard
yall at the exact moment liam said “ivankov gave crocodile a …” a jimmy dean sausage commercial popped up for me and i almost died laughing
