Compared to shanks, this really puts into perspective how much of a speedrun luffy is actually on.
Even more so compared to Roger if you think about it. Roger was 52 when he found the One Piece.

Granted he did take 2 whole years to train day after day, but that seems like the absolute bare minimum after getting decimated at Sabaody.
Roger need 13 years, after getting to lodestar and learning about One Piece, to reach to LaughTale, while Luffy not even completed 13 years after promising Shanks....

The fact that Mihawk has a 3.5Bil bounty without a crew, territories, subordinates and connections to known names make it a very impressive feat.

Keep in mind every warlord got a bounty boost with the dissolved warlord system so Mihawk probably had a lower bounty before the CG

Cavendish and Barto are literally just 1-2 years from the Straw Hats and had 100M+ bounties (280M to 330 and 150M to 200 respectively). They're also just better than Apoo/Drake and will hopefully contribute in a big way during the Final War.
The difference between Shanks' generation and Luffy is that in 24 years, they didn't change a damn thing. Meanwhile the Supernova's gained all their infamy and became real threats to the status quo within 3. Even Doflamingo's criminal empire is a lot less impressive when you consider it was dismantled in about a month.

While yes this is true, luffys generation is dogshit outside of Blackbeard who has 2 of the strongest devil fruits, luffy who has the most overpowered devil fruit, law who has maybe the most valuable and second most overpowered devil fruit, zoro, killer and Kidd, for shanks generation every member has actually accomplished something notable unlike half of the worst generation

This might be a stretch, but I see Usopp as the Buggy of the Straw Hats. Someone who has found success by means other than strength. It would be great to see Usopp defeat Emperor of the Sea Buggy at the climax of One Piece.

Idk if ur caught up I read the manga but they are otw to a special place I think Usoopp can actually learn conquors bc he always states he wants to be a leader of the straw hats and wants to be a leader he literally left his crew over merry. He states he wants to be stronger so he has the want and the kingly desire, and I think he can learn advance observation Haki since he’s a sniper. I might be wrong but I want him to become stronger and I think by the end of one piece he is actually going to be the 4th or 5th strongest member.

There’s no guarantee that everyone from the First Worst successfully stuck around. There could have been more members, but like members of the current worst, they failed and faded away over time.

Yeah i always had the impression that the reason Moriah became like he is now is because the loss of his crew was so traumatizing to him that he went full corpse plan, and while i cant really prove it, i wouldnt be surprised if he got the Kage Kage after the defeat, since otherwise i dont think he would've gotten any use out of it
The whole idea of using zombies is, as said by himself, so he doesnt have to worry about losing them, it's literally a way for him to not grow attached to anyone again so he wint feel horrible if he were to lose again

I am very interested to see how things turn out. Not just for the present worst generation but the previous one. Considering how everything is going in the manga and anime, I am wondering who will fight who etc.. I just hope that Law lives for a while longer, would be a shame to kill him off too quickly
I started watching in 2005 when I was 6. 19 years later am still watching. One thing has always remained constant for me for and that’s one piece being the best thing to watch on Sunday. …unless they’re on a break.

Before they became known as the "Worst Generation", the eleven Supernovas were the top rookie pirates from nine different crews who all chose one of the seven routes along the Grand Line. They comprised of the captains of said crews, as well as two other crewmates, whose bounties are all above the threshold of Beli100,000,000. Each of them come from one of all five seas- the East Blue, West Blue, South Blue, North Blue, the Grand Line itself and even the White Sea. A common trait they all possess is that they have caught the attention of the World Government and have survived many ordeals that have wiped out most other pirate crews during their voyage in the Grand Line. Though they are all on par with each other as far as threat level is concerned, they represent different views on piracy.
With the exception of the Straw Hat Pirates, most Supernovas attempted to avoid the paths of the World Nobles. Coincidentally, all the Supernovas arrived on the Sabaody Archipelago at the same time which caused a series of issues for the Marines. In addition, all of them, with the exception of the Straw Hat Pirates and the Heart Pirates, entered the New World almost simultaneously. Marshall D. Teach, on the other hand, was already in the New World by the time the rookies were making preparations.
Of the twelve pirates, all but two (Zoro and Killer) are captains of their respective pirate crews and only one (Zoro) is not a Devil Fruit user (Killer's fruit did not grant any powers, only robbed him of his abilities to swim and express negative feelings). According to Shakuyaku, one of the Supernovas could potentially be responsible for inspiring a whole new generation of pirates,[1] a comment that is made true when it was revealed that Luffy inspired Bartolomeo to become an infamous pirate in his own right. According to Morgans, he firmly believes that one of the members of the Worst Generation will become the next Pirate King.

Is Gecko Moria really serving under Blackbeard? From what I read in the chapter, it seemed heavily implied that Perona broke Koby out because he agreed to release Moria, who was also supposedly imprisoned. We don't see Koby actually free him, but since he comments that he "had to team up with a pirate", I thought it was pretty obvious that he helped Moria get out and then started running away from the Blackbeard Pirates.

Independently of the CrocoMom insanity, we DO know Ivankov has a secret on Crocodile. I feel that the implication is that Crocodile used to be a young idealist, with connections with the revolutionary cause, but grew corrupted with frustration after being beaten by Whitebeard.
That's why it's interesting that his face is hidden in the Roger execution, because maybe he was crying. Maybe Crocodile has a deeper connection with Roger's endgoal that we are yet to see.
That's an interesting perspective. It certainly would make Crocodile easily 10x more interesting than he already is if true.

I'm curious about what Oda's plan for urouge, he Barely appeared since the new world, even his devil fruit isn't totally explained, maybe Oda forgot about him or he has something for him in the future🤔

@@Kayon0.7Elbaf. Enel has ties to Urouge cause they are both from Sky Islands. Also, i believe urouge is the man marked by the flames, cause he has flame tattoos and I believe Laughtale is after Elbaf, and then Marijoua.
Going through each of these seven figures really gives perspective about what they did before Luffy and the rest of the Supernovas came along two decades later. Hard to think that Crocodile and Mihawk would team up with BUGGY of all people they could have backed from this generation of "world shaking outlaws". Although considering Shanks is an emperor going after the One Piece himself; DoFlamingo's criminal empire with Kaido connections has been toppled in roughly a month (such a short span since Punk Hazard, despite waiting years for the manga chapters); Dragon has the Revolutionaries to lead; and Gecko Moria is a purple onion loser (full stop), I guess there was no one logically left to back.
They didn't necessarily want to team up with Buggy. Crocodile wanted two things: his money back from Buggy, and to found Cross Guild with Mihawk. Thing is, Buggy didn't have the money, but he did have the military assets, so Buggy's Delivery rebranded into Cross Guild.
I hope we'll get to learn Dragon's bounty before long. It has to fall somewhere between Kaido and Whitebeard - being the world's worst criminal absolutely means he has to have the highest active bounty, but it's also stated that Whitebeard and Roger's bounties have never been surpassed.
So above five billion, but not by much.

You know like, the Arcs are parallel/2 sides of the same coin, before and after time skip( Arlong Park/Fishman Island) (Alabasta / Dresarorsa) (Little Garden / Punk Hazard) (Wano / Thriller Bark), after this, an arc like sabody will come, that will show us what was happening in the world while we were on isolated island(like thriller Bark was isolated and fighting in shadows with a world government associated man always ready to attack on mc and villian). Then we will get to know the truth about the buggy emperor/ guild system. Buggy got a Lode Poneglif, that's why crocodile joined buggy and mihawk came accross 2 Warlords. Buggy invited him and Mihawk who had to take support of a crew. He joined buggy. Now, They have put a bounty on the marine GARP ( it can be other high level marine too) with reward as lode poneglif. Someone captures Garp (Most Likely Blackbeard) and thus the final fight starts with Marines trying to stop bullshit, revolutionary army fighting for dragon command, and Blackbeard and Buggys Guild trying to execute Garp, The Final Battle will be Legendary and Epic all behind 1 lode poneglif!

@@epik639 Luffy is basically the only one who can keep up with Doffy's midair maneuverability using his Culverin. Doflamingo, when matched against almost anyone else, is a curb stomp. For instance, Blackbeard would be screwed, because he has no good ranged option. Doffy can anchor himself to clouds meaning no succ for BB. And BB can't dodge for shit, so he'd be taking overheats until he eats dirt. Even if he somehow got close enough to make use of the Gura Gura no Mi punch, Doffy can heal off any internal damage he caused. Also, it should go without saying, but characters with no range option straight up can't do anything to Doffy. So Ulti 👎.
Powerscalers never address matchups because nuance complicates the narrative of who's the strongest. They just want to think "Kaido's da strongest, and he say devil fruit bad, so haki good." Even though mfer literally erased a mountain with his df. Devil fruits weak guys. Don't think about it.
Luffy pulled out all the stops with haki, and it didn't work on Kaido. But as soon as Luffy's awakening came online, Kaido was a jump rope. So maybe, bear with me here, Kaido isn't very smart. I know, shocker. And maybe just maybe, certain fruit users are stronger against certain other fruit users. Again, shocker. I know.
Or who knows, maybe Enel is just a weak character. Weakest antagonist in the verse. Axe Hand Morgan one taps him. Enel's strongest attack didn't even leave a scratch on Luffy afterall.

Strawhats have 2 maybe 3. Big Mom has 2. Kaido has 2 maybe 3. Shanks and BB each have 1 because no crew feats besides Shanks and Aokiji. Cross Guild has 1. Admirals are a toss up, but let's say 2. Then Garp.
So 12-14. That's 1.09 - 1.27 percent. Only a few of those are low diffs though. Big Mom, Kaido, Luffy, Shanks, Milhawk, and Garp are the low diff matchups. So only 0.64 percent of the verse can "clap" Doffy from my rough estimate.
moria's clash with kaido was well known even among fodder pirates, over two decades later thats how big a deal it was. mihawk aside, he has the most notorious past.

I just have to hope that the reason why Croco lost to Luffy was because he was weaker thanks to him holding the entire rain back like 24/7. And yes, I know it's because of the powder, but I also know 1: is a powder really strong enough to stop the rain of an entire country? Maybe some to make using his powers easier, but all of it? Though I guess it's possible he was rich enough if he wanted to even if only small portion of it cost insane amount. And 2: the rain dropped only after he lost, which just felt way too coincidental, cause if it was the powder than it should have been a time limit based instead even if he lost.
So I can only hope to him getting that high of a bounty and fighting stronger enemies before fighting Luffy make sense just cause he was forced to be weaker when fighting against Luffy. Lol XD
If among the old Supernovas there was also Buggy whose bounty at 39 is 15 million and who became Emperor by mistake, why isn't Blackbeard also there?

i dont really know if shanks is much of a junior compared to kaido... I think Kaido is more of the rocks pirates equivalent of him! From what (admittedly little) we know of Kaido's backstory, we know that he was very much treated like the youngling of the crew.

the crazy thing about that total bounty number is that assuming doflamingo escapes and his bounty gets unfrozen you can add another 3-4 billion on there or even if he doesnt get one just for perspective his would have to be around mihawk level i assume if not higher

You know: if it wasn't for recent events on Fullalead Island, i would have though Moria would have teamed up with Blackbeard, but give the man his props: he stood his ground to fight off a Yonko for his deceased crewmate unlike previously to Kaido and not joining him.
Makes me hope he helps Luffy is some form, seeing as he wants revenge of Teach too, and we get a satisfying ending to Moria's tale.

Moria was exuding big Monkey D. energy when he pulled up on Hachinosu and challenged an entire Yonkou crew, just to find his lost friend. Honestly I'm getting shadow protag vibes from him.
Moria probably feels better about losing to Luffy knowing that Luffy went on to beat Doffy and Kaido's asses. It would be awesome if we get a flashback of Moria reassessing his life after nearly dying at Marineford. Seeing Luffy's accomplishments in the news, slowly realizing Luffy is that man. Maybe we even see him cheering Luffy on when he beats Doflamingo and then Kaido.
I don't want Moria to join Cross Guild even though that would fit with it being a club for former warlords. I want Moria to join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, signifying his acceptance of the past and his willingness to move on and evolve with the changing times. He's definitely going to have to put in some work in order to make up for the whole "almost killing everyone" thing, but that's something I'd like to see. Big Moria fan if you couldn't tell.
