I see so many recordings of the "Gryaznov transcription" of the Italian Polka on TH-cam nowadays and think "wow, what a genius this Gryaznov must have been!". I just now stumble on your own video to see it posted by the very transcriber himself, still very much alive and making phenomenal recordings! Thank you very much and I look forward to exploring your page more.

I can't imagine why anyone would skip the op 26 arrangement. One of Rachmaninoff's most beautiful creations and an absolutely perfect arrangement, especially with the tastefully extended recapitulation.

I wasn't going to skip it.. No way! it's Vyacheslav playing rachmaninoff!!!
When I sighed at the end of 'the night is sad' I realised that I must have been holding my breath 😳🤭😊🤗🥰
I'd be playing the first half on repeat if I could, just like I used to listen to the Italian polka over and over and over!

Beautiful arrangement BTW, Rachmaninoff's songs do not get the attention they deserve! Bravo!!!

I really like Italian polka. Your arrangement is one of my favourite pieces. I have been playing piano for almost 2 years and I have learned cool pieces like grande valse brilliante and Rachmaninoff prelude in g minor but one day I would like to learn, master and maybe even perform your arrangement of this beautiful piece. Thank you very much for writing, recording and performing this piece for me to listen to it on repeat. I will also try to listen to the night is sad more.

Overwhelming emotions, purity in the game. 🎼🎹A lot of intelligence and refinement in the arrangements, images and subtleties in the stories told. 🤗You are exceptional at sublimating music with a universal language: that of the heart and the mind.❤ could listen to you over and over 👱‍♀️ thank you so much Mr Gryaznov and Mr Rachmaninov of course 😉😁

Bravo to you vyacheslav and great arrangement of the genius Rachmaninov polka.. I Just wished my left hand was a tad bigger. I can stretch one more note than an octave, but in this piece you have to stretch a bit more than that in certain parts. Some lovely sumptuous chords in the arrangement. Im trying to learn it and I can tell you this is a big challenge which is going to keep me happy for hours. I will hit the subscribe and look out for your future video’s. 👍😃 🎹

This was a spiritual experience! You are so wonderful and inspiring! I love your Italian Polka interpretation, I feel like I haven't heard other performers explore the warm, sweet character of this piece and instead play it as a fast, technical virtuosic piece (which it is lol) but you had me hooked the whole time! Wow!
