It actually makes everything easier because the score isn't as crammed up like that. Debussy himself liked doing that in his Préludes and other piano works as well.

The entire build up from 5:28 to 6:28 is definitely a goosebumper, reminds me of the second movement of Rachmaninoff piano concerto no.3

Impeccable arrangement and performance; the intricate counterpoint is dizzying. 5:38-6:25 is the best; I like the creativity and sheer 'boom' he adds to it.

Thank you, Mr. Gryaznov. This is probably one of the best transcriptions ever written in the history of piano music.

Absolutely brilliant...I'm not surprised that it's a transcription. The rhythmic grace and tone color show that the act of hearing the orchestral version a million times has transferred into your hands. What instrument is a piano?,...ANSWER- whatever a players "hears" it to be. The best jazz players discovered that 100 years ago.
    Brave....way to go Vyacheslav!!

I am mesmerized by this piece of music, how possibly the human brain can create something as complex and so creative still so beautiful. We can't really appreciate how revolutionary this piece of music was at the time of its first audition in 1894. Debussy was a outstanding genius, whose contribution to music is by far the greatest of any composer , he is the root of the modern music. And playing this on the piano with two hands s beyond human to me, Bravo !

Wonderful ! One could wonder about the interest of transcripting such a piece. But curiously, the relative uniformity of the timbre of the piano makes the structure more easy to hear without being overwhelmed by the sumptuosity of the orchestra. I don't mean here at all that your transcription is anyhow dull : it's lively, supple and pianistic - and your piano has its own sumptuosity. And it makes hear so clearly the lines. Thank you !
