That was a really great video! And yes you were dealing with white paint but the time of day that you shot your video I could easily see the water beads on the paint! That's okay about the WD-40, it was still a great test! What I would like to see you do is allow the dirty water or sand or sawdust or whatever you put on it I'd like to see it dry on the finish and then hit it with the high pressure hose!
Hey there! Thanks for the comment! As far as Scott's video is concerned, I suppose I'm somewhere in the middle. Scott does some great videos and I have gained a lot of really useful information from his channel. He may or may not be correct about all the "SDS sheets" and "lack of silica" in the product, but in my opinion - Who really cares? This is a consumer grade product, so Meguiar's has hit a couple buzz words in order to drum up some interest in the product (Ceramic being the key word here). Professional detailers know that this is not a ceramic-based product (it is FAR too inexpensive to have any substantial amount of SiO2). But strictly from a product standpoint - It works. I've used it several times since I made this video and achieved some pretty stellar results, granted it is a little greasy and difficult to wipe off after the initial removal. I would say that the difficulty of application is easily made up by the ease of reapplication. Spray on, spray off? It's fantastic. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not even saying I disagree with Scott or even that he's wrong. I guess I just care more about whether a product works that what it's composed of. Hope that answers your question! Thank you for watching!
Jayce Vessier I agree, if you go to his Facebook community it’s filled with Scott fan boys, it’s almost embarrassing for both him and his followers. He loves it though
Best video I have watched so far nice test👍

That's a fantastic idea! I'll make another video about that soon!
Good video. More realistic than most “wax” test videos!
