Now that the drawbacks of the PANdemic have been overcome (we ignore Putin), a refresh isn't a bad idea. For the newbies, yes. Finally spring is approaching again, a warm morning sun, the atmosphere and the feeling that we had to say goodbye to in the fall. Pan, might be interesting to discuss : for people including me who only have an LHR15 and don't want to buy a smaller device. Perhaps discuss again how the more difficult surfaces can be polished / refreshed? EDIT = maybe you can do a demo with a drill? Seems like a worthy alternative to me. So a drill with a backing plate and that way freshen up the little sides? It's just an idea. Regards. Cordialement.
I annually/semiannually do this with my vehicles since 2020, and everytime, I always end up watching a weeks worth of Pan before I go back out and get to it haha. Always makes me feel ready to go and I’ve gotten great results each time.
I'm doing that very thing right now 😂. Brushing up and watching all of his paint correction videos in preparation for this coming spring. I try to do at least some form of paint correction every other year (though I missed last year so this time it'll have been 3 years)
Pan’s knowledge is incredible, but it’s his willingness to teach that separates him from the rest of the detailers. Educational yet fun to learn for car enthusiasts like myself. I’m a doctor who wished I had a car detailer friend who would help me with my cars. But Pan has inspired me to learn and do it myself. Excellent content!
@@PanTheOrganizer i did because I got your video recommended !by TH-cam where you showed James from Top Class Detail. Can’t stop watching your videos ❤
Not only are you articulate with your pronunciation, but your voice is also pleasant and rather soothing lol. Very cool, calm, collective. I get annoyed easily with annoying sounds including voices 😂. Just thought I’d say, I enjoy your videos. Keep it up man! 🤙🏾
Thank you Pan, I am a senior that in recent years has become interested in more than simply washing my car. My good friend and neighbor Norm has introduced me to waxing, I had my last vehicle ceramic coated. Recently I have traded for a new vehicle and am going to have a pro go through all the step described in this video. Merci et je vous souhaite bon success. Σε ευχαριστώ Παν, είσαι ο άνθρωπος
Fantastic!! Pan you out did yourself this time. The explaination and knowledge provided is amazing. You cant find a polish content out there, even close to this one. Thank you Pan!
Pan you put the details in to detailing. I never thought of cleaning, and changing my polishing pad so often. Now I feel like a Master detailer. Thank you so much for your expertise.
Pan, you really are the best detailing teacher on the internet. I have always loved looking after my cars and now I'm about to retire I want to focus on it even more. Your excellent presentation skills and knowledge are really motivating me to take it to a new level. Thank you.
This is so good on so many levels! The amount of accurate information, the presentation, and the overall patience to not skip any steps. I love it! Thank you so much!
Pan the MAN!! I appreciate your teaching man. I’m a police officer and I started a mobile detailing side business because of your content. I mainly work on police vehicles now! Thank you. This will be my second year 👍🏽
Thanks for the positive feedback Brian. And thank you for your service keeping your community safe. Much respect to all law enforcement officers and military keeping our communities and countries safe. 🙌🏻
Pan, I have considered myself a detailing enthusiast for a while. This series of detailing steps is awesome. I have picked some things that I should be doing to obtain a better result. Great video. And as a side note, last summer I purchased a new 5” Rupes DA and switched to their matched polish’s and pads. I can say it was a good decision. It’s simple, practical and believe I have achieved greater results. Great series, great video. Well done.
Pan after yesterday I feel that I owe you a huge thank you! About a year ago I bought a retirement home with a two-car garage. I wanted to turn it into a detail shop as a hobby. I reviewed several auto detailers on TH-cam and quickly came to realize that “You Are the Man” for detailing. Your library of videos included everything I needed to know about detailing. I toured your new shop, watched reviews of equipment and detail products. The Turtle Wax in the lab interviews were fascinating. Then watched step-by-step how to detail a car. Because you list the items in the video with links to Amazon I was able to open a wish list which quickly grew to include tools like the Flex polisher and lots of unique products mostly from Turtle Wax but some also from Adams and Chemical Guys. Along the way I had questions which you answered within 24 hours….you should be the gold standard for many industry’s customer service. Yes, when I asked about my public service project cleaning Police vehicles you suggested an extractor. Had to use Google to figure that one out but ended up with one 😊 Yesterday was the annual Corvette show in New Bern, NC at the Chevrolet Dealer. Over a hundred Corvettes entered… years 1959 - 2022. Lots of beautiful cars owned by proud folks. My 2017 Corvette Grand Sport was awarded the Best of Show Award. It was my first time entering a car in a show and must give you credit for that win. Thank You Pan. Keep up the great work! Bruce
Hi Bruce! Wow, thanks so much for all the kind words and for your support. It truly means a lot! And congrats on that first place win!! This is so incredibly helpful. I’ve been detailing my own cars for several years, but have decided to start doing this as a profession. I often found myself overwhelmed with the wide variety of tools and products out there, even within one brand. This video really cleared up a lot of my confusion. Thank you.
I have done my own paint correction before and I felt like I had a good handle on it. This was by far the best video I have ever seen on the subject. The thing I missed previously was not refreshing new pads throughout the process and that now makes perfect sense and you have explained it. Thanks as always!!
Pan, I don’t think there are any words to explain how exceptional this video was. I was scared to death of polishing my Ram until watching your video. I’ve watched a lot of videos, giving me absolute overload until now. Talking about the entire process, start to finish has not only relaxed my frame of mind but also given me the confidence in taking care of my wife’s and my vehicle, beginning to end. Your beginners 101 videos, should there be any awards handed out, unequivocally should be handed first prize, especially about polishing. I’ve never felt better about being able to get the job done. Thanks you, for all of your expertise and videos, making it all that much easier for beginners like me to understand.
That's truly a well written comment and it means a lot Jim! I appreciate the time viewers like you take to show me their support and appreciation for the videos I produce. It's extremely time consuming and demanding to produce content week after week, and I have been doing this for almost 6 straight years now, as I started my channel in late April 2016!! So it's nice to see my efforts don't go unnoticed. :)
One of the best 46mins spent. I've been a subscriber since last year, have applied tips and tricks in detailing here and there, and it is still very refreshing to watch and learn from your videos (including Yvan and Nick, Phil, and few more!). Thank you for the knowledge, Pan!

Superb tutorial! I’ve been restoring an old Eko acoustic guitar using automotive finishing products, so my approach to cutting and polishing has been similar to the techniques shown in this video. Last night I bought a set of pads from Amazon. As I was waiting for them to arrive, I took the time to dig into this well-presented information. When the pads were delivered early this afternoon, I was ready to roll. It took about an hour-and-a-half to do the guitar’s body. The results were far better than anything I’d tried before. The body is shining like it just came off the production line-maybe even better! Thanks for helping me to finally get the results I was hoping for! After the holidays I’ll be building an electric guitar from scratch, along with refinishing one of my old favorites. I also have a number of repairs to do that will require proper finishing. I’m really looking forward to using everything I learned in this video. Keep up the excellent work!

Pan, hope you’re having a fantastic weekend. I wanted to thank you again for your detailing 101 videos 2 years ago. For the second time I applied a Gyeon coating to my vehicle and went back to your videos explaining the entire process. This time though, I went with Gyeon Pure EVO. Not as slick as Gyeon One EVO, but the gloss is absolutely amazing. Even when dry, my truck has that wet look or as some say, looks like glass. And it’s a black 2020 Longhorn with a pearl paint. I really love doing work like this and believe that when I retire from UPS, that maybe I’d like to do this for a little extra income, even though it’s hard work and my muscles ache when I’m done. Though we may never, I hope one day our paths might cross, so I may properly than you for putting out your TH-cam videos so a DIYer like me could feel more confident in tackling a job like this and inspiring me to a new field in life after UPS. I love doing detail work, but it doesn’t always have to be paid for. A lot of times it gives me great pleasure to help others who want to do something, but are too scared or just know how to go about it. Besides, it would keep me active and in shape. Again, thank you, you’ve helped me more than you’ll ever know.

Great vid Pan! I love how in depth you went into this and the other videos in this series. For people who didn’t know, if you’re doing this for your own car, instead of compounding and polishing, you can use an AIO (all-in-one) polish that does both the compounding and polishing stage in one step to save time and money. You may give up a “perfect” final result on both ends (compounding and finishing) but it gets a great final result. Just figure out if your car needs more of a polish or finish and use either a stronger/weaker pad to get the result you want :)
@@PanTheOrganizer when the pandemic hit, I took more of an interest in detailing, and your channel popped up first, and since then have jumped into the detailing rabbit hole LOL but ur vids have always been thorough and helpful!! Keep up the great work Pan :D
Been watching your videos for awhile now and you always provide a wealth of information (thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience). I am currently cleaning out my garage so I have a space to detail my own, and eventually my wife's, vehicle that have not had any paint correction since they were purchased. The steps you provide make it simple to understand the correction process but I can still see taking some time to get the results I seek. My main issue is choosing the products I want to use as I already have the equipment (Makita 5" / 6" DA polisher and 3" polisher) to complete the correction process. Thank you for covering and listing the different products to make the selection process easier! Great upload I will be referencing multiple times!

I've watched several of your videos in preparation for coating my car with Adam's Advanced Graphene. I watched their video, and saw yours on the same subject off on the related bar. I just did the first steps in detailing - wash, iron removal, claybar, polished with a polisher I got off Harbor Freight with a ultra fine pad and Adam's polish. My car *already* looks better than when I drove it home from the dealiership. I can't wait to get the graphene on it! Without a doubt, one of the better videos I have seen. You channel has made me believe in products and the ability to maintain a vehicle without having to rely on others to do so. Thanks. Tom
Hello, well after nine months I finally did a paint correction on my 2021 Toyota tundra crew max. I can’t thank you enough for the videos you have put out. I used a strip wash, then a decontaminant for the iron. I use my leaf blower to dry it and then I used the Rupes (yellow) compound and yellow foam pad. Next step, I will clean it with IPA and then I’m using a graphine by Adams. The factory paint was not that great from day one so today it looks amazing and I haven’t even finished. Thanks again.!!!!!!

Hey Pan, after watching your Detailing 101 videos, I finally built up the courage to do my own polishing work so I've bought a DA polisher and a lot of detailing stuff and got to work. I gotta say, paint polishing is not easy. After working for 10 hours on each day of the week end (friday-saturday-sunday), me and my dad managed to do paint correction, polishing and ceramic coating sealing for both our cars and the results are incredible! It was worth all the work and spent money. I was a little disappointed that I could not remove some of the scratches, but I was afraid to go into wet sanding as I thought it was too aggressive, and I did not have enough experience doing that. Anyway all-in-all it was a hard worked week end, with a lot of lessons learned and 2 awesome looking cars. Thank you for sharing all this wisdom!

Hey Pan! Ive been running a used car business for the last 10 years and I have been using 1 pad for compounding and another for polishing! Proper cleaning is perhaps the key! Love your videos
Yes there are two ways of doing this. Some people prefer to have multiple clean pads ready to go. Or you can just use one pad and clean it between sections and passes. What ever works for you! ;)
I love to watch you polish. You make it look so easy!! Im in the polishing phase of my first ever complete detail, and my patterns do not consistently look like yours. Beautiful work and very helpful video. Thanks Pan...
Oh thank you! Of course 27 years of detailing experience and countless hours of machine polishing make everything look easy hehe. But it's not super complicated once you get the basics, and as you get more practice.
You must have had a personal mentor? I have the internet and a few friends that are going to let me do their cars. Of course, then I get to take care of them! Keep up with the "visual" videos; a lot of guys talk, talk, talk say, about polishing, but not much video to see exactly what they're doing. +++
UPDATE: Hi Pan. I TOTALLY goofed!! In my quest to become a more experienced auto detailer (like you), I went a bit overboard in purchasing car maintenance products. As a result, my trunk organizers are overflowing with car care products that I'll likely NEVER use!! After purchasing multiple bottles of the TW Flex Graphene Spray Wax, I bought the WRONG compound (Meguiars) to accompany it. I'd seen a video on the Meguiars Ultimate Compound and felt I just HAD to have it. I'm sure it'll be okay to use different products together from time to time, but even you have recommended that it's best to be uniform in using products for car maintenance... A Meguiars compound with a Turtle Wax Graphene polish isn't ideal. 1 mistake of many that I've made, but I am learning more and more with each video of yours that I watch! Thanks SO MUCH for all your vids, Pan! They are truly something special! It's no wonder you're the most popular auto car detailing expert on TH-cam!!!
Pan has help me tremendously with keeping both of my vehicles top tier. I get so many compliments and questions on how I get my cars so clean and glossy. I really owe it to you🤝
Pan, let me just start by saying THANK YOU!! I've been trying to find the excuse and motivation to get my cars back to the sleek, glossy and protected look they should have, when I came across your channel and have never looked anywhere else since. I've watched, and continue to watch, your detailing 101 videos at least 3-4 times a week just to get all of that informative and extremely helpful knowledge burned into my brain for when I finally decide to do a full detail on both of my cars...which I started to do yesterday. I figured yesterday was perfect, cloudy, mid 70s F, a sprinkle here and there but nothing bad, low humidity, so I got out my new Karcher K1700 and started to go to work...then got stuck 😱. Here's how my day went... My car: 2007 Mazda 3 (black), only waxed once, usual run thru drive-thru car washes 3-4 times a year. - Rinsed car off, cleaned tires and wheels, used Adams shampoo for snow foam and then hand wash. - Dried car, sprayed down with CarPro TarX, rinsed off, then CarPro IronX, rinsed off and dried. - Used Nanoskin clay towel and Gyeon clay lube on whole car, (started to sprinkle a bit) rinsed car off, pulled it into garage and dried off. - Got out my new 6" Avid Power DA polisher, Meguiar's compound & finishing polish plus 4 pads each of Meguiar's da compound & finishing microfiber pads. Started on the hood, picked out a 2x2 area, primed the compound pad with polish, set the polisher on 2 and went over the 2x2 area, then set the polisher to 5 and put 4 dots of polish onto the pad, tapped the pad down 4 times within the 2x2 area and went over the area just like in the video...the compound dried VERY quickly! So fast that I really had to rub hard to buff it off. Tried another section and same results, not like your video when you just wipe it off with ease. So tried another section, cleaned the pad off with a brush and did the steps again, same results...I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I can tell it's doing something, but little scratches and swirl marks are still present. By this time (8:00pm) I gave up, left car in garage, and realized how out of shape I am lol! My whole body is aching, but I want to keep going...any ideas of what I might be doing wrong or any tips? Love your channel and the videos, and thanks so much for inspiring this 45yr old to get off his rump and take pride in his car once again!
Hi Dan! First, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear I can help inspire my viewers to learn more about detailing and go out there, and enjoy detailing their rides! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 800,000 subscribers and 100 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. Seems like you nailed the steps so far, so I'm happy to see that. Wash, chemical decon, claybar, then machine polishing. Perfect! Now as far as the compounds and polishes, many factors play a role, including temperature, humidity, and who knows if you perhaps had a bad batch of products? Keep in mind most detailing chemicals are only good for about a year or two (shelf life) if kept in stable conditions and never frozen. You are perhaps overworking the polishes, and they generate lots of dust when dried up. Or perhaps, you should try another compound and polish combo with different pads and see how that reacts on your paintwork. Different paints give different results some times. Here's a video I made about my favourite compounds, polishes and pads combos: th-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/w-d-xo.html And of course, always work on cool surfaces, never in direct sunlight. As close to 68F temperature as possible is ideal, with 40-45% humidity at most. Polishing takes time to master, but you seem to be on the right track. Once you find the right product and pad combination for your given paint, you will love mastering that new craft. :)
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you so much for the quick response and valuable feedback! I think you nailed it with the temp and humidity. Even tho the car was in the garage, it was still around 70d F and 50-60% humidity, so I tried doing smaller sections and a bit quicker passes and that seemed to work a little better but still dried up quickly. I ended up finishing last night with the polishing stage, IPA wipe down and Collinite 845 wax and I tell ya, she almost looks brand new! Thanks again so much for your teaching videos and product reviews, they really take the guess work out and made me feel a lot more comfortable taking on this detailing job! A couple things I was not happy with is all the chips in the paint, specially on the hood where rocks & pebbles would be kicked up from others cars. It looks like someone took a paint brush with white paint and flicked it above my hood and all these white flecks landed on it lol. Also the wheels are severely discolored/stained? that even P&S brake buster couldn't get them clean. Any advice on how to fill in those spots and get those wheels clean?

I really enjoy your videos. You don't make us look dumb you educate. Just like Jimbo, Apex, Miranda and FAB. I have some experience as a DIY guy who just takes care of my personal car. You have made it easier and a lot more fun, and I'm 67 years old. Do my own minor body work and have some knowledge of painting, even though I'm stuck outdoors under a carport here in Texas. Wish I could post a photo with this message.🇺🇸❤️🤣
Thanks for the positive feedback Michael! I like sharing my 25 years of detailing experience with my viewers. We are all passionate about detailing and I want to make detailing accessible to everyone. We all learn and even I still learn new things on a regular basis as the industry continues to evolve. 😁 All the guys you mentioned are friends of mine and class acts! Glad to be a part of that group. Cheers!
Pan, I trust you, I did a hand polishing on my new bmw g42 before aplying can coat Evo, everything turned out great (did all the steps as U recommend on a new car per your videos), but my mom's Toyota Chr is soo neglected I'm gonna go and buy a ADBL Rotary DA (we don't have the other budget polisher's u reccomed here in Poland sadly) and do it! You give me hope that I can do it! I'm gonna try a one step with 3D One! Cheers!

Unfortunately no, as I'd have no life. I mainly respond to TH-cam comments, as you can see, which already takes me over 4 hours daily. As you can imagine with 860,000 subscribers and millions watching, I receive thousands of messages daily. It's overwhelming at times. And I'm the only major detailing channel (over 500,000 subs) to reply to every single TH-cam comment. But I can't also reply to messages and DMs on other platforms, as I'd die trying. Thank you for understanding. Plus, I can guarantee you that all the answers you need are in my 850+ videos on my channel. I have covered pretty much all the topics in the detailing world, and new videos are added each week.

Hi Pan. I bought a SIMONIZ DA from Cdn Tire last year at a great price but had no idea how to use it but wanted to learn. I watched few of your videos and this summer I got up the nerve and used the DA on 2011 Silverado and WOW all through my mind I was paying attention to what you said and when I got it done it was just amazing. I used a glaze sealant to prep for the coming winter months and I couldn't be more happy the way it turned out. I topped with a spray wax and it is the shiniest truck on the street. Thanks for your amazing videos on polishing and I have more confidence to continue with the DA. Thanks again. Ottawa.

I started polishing 5 years ago with a big square very old and loud flex. Not an orbital but just the rotation. I prefer that because I learned it that way and it works mutch faster and better in my opinion. Espacially when removing scratches. And 3m polishing paste.

Good stuff Pan. Learning so much. Few questions: 1.Do you dry the car before and after the iron remover, or dry it before you clay? 2.When and how do you do the finishing polishing stage? 3.Do you still tape the chrome plastic trim and the black wheel well liner? Thank you.
1. You can spray the iron remover on dry or wet paint. I prefer to spray it on wet paint to save on time (efficiency). 2. I don't understand your question. 3. For beginners especially, I would always recommend that you tape all the plastic and chrome trim pieces before you start polishing.
I like when you compare the turtle/Hybrid products to other more expensive ones and find that they are really good products. Also, this last one about and overview from Covid was outstanding!

@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for your response! Searching TH-cam for detailing tips and tricks. I try to watch every video you release and learn from your instructions! Keep up the great work sir!
Hello Pan, grats on 1 million subscribers!!!!! If you have a well maintained vehicle, and you just want to reapply the ceramic coating (been 3 years for AvalonKing ceramic) do you need to compound or can you just skip that step and go to polish to remove old coat (if any left) and then coat? I do not see any swirls or defects in the white pearl paint.
Thanks Jeff! Before applying a new coating, you have to machine polish the old one off. It's the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection especially coatings. You decon wash, iron remover, clay, machine polish, paint prep spray to remove polishing oils, and reapply the new coating.
just started getting interested in this after receiving my first car not too long ago . it’s a 2013 and i want to make it as nice as possible. this vid definitely helped, i really appreciate your help.

Thank you for your response. I just went into the search a bunch a Videos came out. I watched your video for 30 seconds and I thought yeah this is the one he knows what he’s doing. I got to a stage where I thought it was over but you repeated all the steps mind blown well done

Between you and Wilson I got this. 🙌🏾 thanks Pan wish me luck 🍀 💙
I'm working in the bodyshop trade nearly 28 years, the way you explained everything with your knowledge was brilliant for amateur and beginner detailers 👍 I bought a da polisher about 3 years ago, I think it's been used twice 😂 Rotary's for severe or sanded paint correction is still the best way of doing it, the best advice for anyone to take from your vid is do not start with a rotary, use a da !! Great video
Great teaching. I'm going on 68 and tired of hand waxing and polishing. Going to get a good polisher and do mine and my sons new cars, with a light polish then apply a good protection. Love all you vids. I'm in Connecticut and winter beats the crap out of our cars.... can't wait for warm weather.
Another stellar video Pan....it was 67 degrees here in NJ but I was too busy at work. Can't wait to get my new car detailed...I've been buying products suggested by you a little at a time to build my arsenal...Im almost there...Ill be ready for Spring time. Thanks for your experience and knowledge. Cheers
WOW!! Now I have the intellectual process and concept of detailing. Thank you Pan. I have washed, claybared, (didn't have Iron remover type product) and used Banana Wet Wax. So next stage is order correct products for completing the detail process. Onward and forward.
Wauw, awesome explanation! I just got my first DA polisher and Meguiars Ultra-cut compound 105 and Ultra finishing Polish 205 bottles. I already have some chemicals like iron remover and tar/glue remover. Found this video and discovered that I still need something to clean my pads and a IPA cleaner to check if I did a good job. You and TH-cam are awesome👌🏼

@@PanTheOrganizer Haha, I just watched that video😁 I was looking for some tips on machine polishing and found a video of you. Now I'm watching more and more because you are very good in explaining to a newbie like me how to get a proper result. I like the 'significant improvement' statement. I always have the tendency after I did something to expect the same result from somebody with years of experience. A lot of times I feel dissapointed wich is not fair to myself. Thanks for sharing your experience with the rest of the world. Just pressed the subscribe button👍🏼 Edit: I wash my car with the following steps: 1. High pressure rinse. 2. Chemical wash (Iron, tar/glue, rims) 3. Two bucket methode. 4. Ceramic Wax spray. Now is the time to add the snow foam and polishing part. Later on I want to look in to the ceramic coating. Because that is awesome to have a protection for years.
You would be 100% correct Gert. You have to give yourself time and practice to reach perfection. If you are just starting, you can't expect the same level of results as someone with decades of experience. I too once had little to no experience when I started detailing cars at the age of 16. But the cool thing is that even with no experience, once you understand the basics thanks to tutorial like these, you can go out there and do things with confidence, and those actions will still give DRAMATIC improvements. If you had swirled and scratched paint, and are able to perfect it to 80%, that's still a huge improvement and very noticeable to the naked eye. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Detailing should be fun and soothing. Seeing the work you performed with your own hands is so rewarding. And for sure once you detail, it will always look better compared to before you started. So it's a win win. The car looks better, and you are happy. And since you subscribed to my channel, let me officially welcome you to the Pan The Organizer family! :)

This prolly get lost in the comments but DUDE your amazing. I’ve been watching a few people to figure out all the tools needed to start, and I stumbled across your video and was at first slightly deterred by my the amount of equipment how much it would all be etc.. and was going to research who also teaches the standard way to actually get down to the polish compound etc… I ended up finding this video, before the others in the series ( I’ll go back and see those ) but even with years of cleaning cars this one video teaches sooo much. Your in depth breakdowns with diagrams ( that I like to draw as well) articulated explanations and well thought out step by step tutorial is Outstanding. I’ve literally been watching this video for about 2 days now on and off going through notes, and could break it up into lessons. The almost million people seeing this are lucky to have found it Vs millions of others just out there Winging it. Keep doing what your doing and helping us all, while you don’t have too, it’s definitely appreciated. 📍Los Angeles, Ca btw, looking forward to see where this can go and how many people can appreciate a good detail from putting the research into it and not just in it for the $$$.

Awesome video, not just showing the how, but also explaining the why! I really dig it!!! One minor thing though: for all the people who are looking up the products from the company at 6:03 - the complete name is “Koch Chemie“. The word “Chemie“ is simply the word for chemistry in German while Koch is the founders name. So when you look for them, use the whole name and you'll find them much easier. 😂

Merci Pan, travail colossal 👍👌👍

Hi Pan, I am in Africa, how(whre) can I get these products and some basic machinery to start car detailing services ?
I annually/semiannually do this with my vehicles since 2020, and everytime, I always end up watching a weeks worth of Pan before I go back out and get to it haha. Always makes me feel ready to go and I’ve gotten great results each time.
R.I.P. clearcoat

Had to use Google to figure that one out but ended up with one 😊

Pan, I don’t think there are any words to explain how exceptional this video was. I was scared to death of polishing my Ram until watching your video.

Thanks Pan, I really appreciate the information. Your videos are helping me in starting my business. 👍🏼
You are so welcome! Thanks Tyler!
Started on the hood,
picked out a 2x2 area, primed the compound pad with polish, set the polisher on 2 and went over the 2x2 area, then set the polisher to 5 and put 4 dots of polish onto the pad,
tapped the pad down 4 times within the 2x2 area and went over the area just like in the video...the compound dried VERY quickly! So fast that I really had to rub hard to buff it off.
Tried another section and same results, not like your video when you just wipe it off with ease. So tried another section, cleaned the pad off with a brush and did the steps again,
same results...I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Here's a video I made about my favourite compounds, polishes and pads combos: th-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/w-d-xo.html
And of course, always work on cool surfaces, never in direct sunlight.

Few questions:
1.Do you dry the car before and after the iron remover, or dry it before you clay?
2.When and how do you do the finishing polishing stage?
3.Do you still tape the chrome plastic trim and the black wheel well liner?
Thank you.
1. You can spray the iron remover on dry or wet paint. I prefer to spray it on wet paint to save on time (efficiency).
2. I don't understand your question.
3. For beginners especially, I would always recommend that you tape all the plastic and chrome trim pieces before you start polishing.

@@PanTheOrganizer Haha, I just watched that video😁
I was looking for some tips on machine polishing and found a video of you.
Just pressed the subscribe button👍🏼
Edit: I wash my car with the following steps:
1. High pressure rinse.
2. Chemical wash (Iron, tar/glue, rims)

I’ve been watching a few people to figure out all the tools needed to start, and I stumbled across your video and was at first slightly deterred by my the amount of equipment how much it would all be etc.. and was going to research who also teaches the standard way to actually get down to the polish compound etc…
I ended up finding this video, before the others in the series ( I’ll go back and see those ) but even with years of cleaning cars this one video teaches sooo much. Your in depth breakdowns with diagrams ( that I like to draw as well) articulated explanations and well thought out step by step tutorial is Outstanding. I’ve literally been watching this video for about 2 days now on and off going through notes, and could break it up into lessons.
