I lived in Colorado for 15 years. I really do miss those mountain rides. Thanks for doing a great job on the video.. and now I'm going to have to put Colorado on my list in the summer to head back and do those mountain rides 1 more time
Rode your lovely Independence Pass last year end of August but started in Aspen. One of the comments here is absolutely true, can never go wrong with Colorado. Beautiful state.
My grandfather work for the Rio grand railroad out of Denver for 1914 to about 1968 we used to get to ride the trains up through the mountains for free. Hope to do a little bike riding this summer. I've spent quite a bit of time in the mountains but not on a motorcycle. Some of the most beautiful places in the US.
It was a pleasure meeting you in Sturgis. Thank you for taking a moment to visit with my wife and I and it makes watching your videos more fun to watch now that we personally have met you
Nice! As a Colorado native & rider I love your Colorado content. The cool back stories and great food spots just make my list of "get to" places longer with each video.
The food! that pizza! this is all gonna have to wait till i'm home to watch hahaha! oh those colorado views. I couldn't help myself to get into some photography riding around the mountains 👍
Yesss!! I grabbed some Ben&Jerrey's On my way home. Late night show, Cherry crumble, Chunky monkey And Italian Sub for desert. Lol, glad I got snacks because one of my favorite motorcycle chick's gave content. Thanks!
Awesome vid Staci! My Pop and I are riding back home to Denver for the July 4th weekend and we will definitely be checking out Leadville. I want to check out that saloon, doc Holliday used to frequent!
We watch a lot of motorcycle channels and you are probably the one who camps out the most. Love watching your journeys across our beautiful country. Come on up to the PNW. We have some beautiful roads to ride on
Love this episode. Rad content and spot on editing. Love the drone blends with the ground shots. Still hard to believe you are a one woman production. Awesome piece!!
it's crazy that stuff is up there, just out in the middle of the wilderness. I could imagine how incredible and intimidating it must look in the winter. And, as always, you're amazing!
@@ridetofood I subbed to your channel I ride an adv bike too. I also ride solo, I book marked your videos and am going to take the ride you take and see that stuff. I've been a street rider for the last 20 years but have been riding since 1968. I'm going to spend my golden years seeing the stuff you share
I really enjoy your content Staci and much respect for your independence and sense of adventure. I’m in Ontario, Canada and have done 6 rides in the Rockies with former work colleagues and friends. Independence Pass is my 2nd favourite road, after the Million Dollar Highway between Ouray and Durango. Keep following your dreams and ride safe! You’re an inspiration to many ! Btw I love Leadville.
Oh, my goodness, that video did my heart good! Those are my favorite rides and right out my backdoor, too! The pie in Leadville is to die for and the restaurants in Buena Vista (Bew-nah, if your from there!) are great as well. The fall riding is second to none, but the shorter days make it seem like I'm always racing the sun, because when it goes down, the Big Chill sets in! Thanks for showing what a great place Colorado is for motorcycles!
Love your content and the historical info you intersperse! Only ever rode down the western spine of Colorado on my way to Moab, but definitely high on my list to explore. These videos help get me thru a cold Canadian winter on the prairies😀
Great video! It is so beautiful there. I liked the nighttime scene outside of the tent with the moving stars. I wouldn't have minded seeing a little more of that scene. I appreciate your channel!
That will be awesome! You can take the West Elk Loop from Carbondale over to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and into Montrose. That'll be a beautiful ride!
Twenty years ago I lived in the tiny former ski village of Cuchara, Co in the south central Sangre de Cristo mountains. The view from Cordova Pass at over 11,000 ft is hard to beat. I still ride there once a year from Tucson. And oh, the food at The Cuchara Yacht Club ain't bad either!
I grew up in Bailey, and in my highschool/young adult days, I would always go exploring out around the SouthPark area. I always wanted to retire in Buena Vista. It was (maybe still is?) such a great little hub kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but also right in the middle of some really great parts of the state. I haven't lived in CO for ~15yrs, but your videos bring back some really great memories!
Road Aspen to Leadville last Sept. on my way to SD. Loved CO so much during the “leaf peepin’” I’m headed back next Sept for more and to ride the MDH. Loved watching this, broght back great memories.
Wow, I really enjoyed watching your solo motorcycle camping trip in the Colorado Mountains on the Harley-Davidson Pan America! The views were absolutely breathtaking and it looked like an adventure of a lifetime. Your passion for riding and exploring the great outdoors is truly inspiring. Keep up the great work and keep sharing your amazing experiences with us!
What a terrific ride to food video Stacey! The scenery was beautiful. I hope that you made it out of Leadville without getting caught in a snowstorm on the way back home. Love the 360 camera and the drone footage.
the roads calling me now. I bought a new2024 low rider st and plane a round trip to Texas but which way and I gotta eat at these killer dish eat marathon. great videos. big island.
Loving your content Staci - going to do my best to embrace ride TO food as I spent way too much time not slowing down and enjoying my days out, never stopping anywhere to just embrace the day.
I love riding in Colorado been going there every year since 1991 The best state i think to ride in. I have rode in 49 of them so far, still need Hawaii. However I am a pizza snob and that was not a real pizza. Chicago Southside Tavern style is the best. Even better than Chicago deep dish. Great video. this summer bringing my XR650 to do the unpaved passes. My KTM 1290 is way too big for some of those knarley passses
Can’t get enough of seeing you on that Pan Am. Wonderful episode, great mix of content, you have done it again. I hope everyone that watches this realizes how much work it is to create Moto content this good, you make it look easy. Thanks so much for bringing me along.
I had pizza there 7-8 years ago and it was excellent. Made it there again this past August and they were closed. 😥 Independence is one of my Colorado favorites as well.
Hi Staci, have you done a video on how you pack or organize your camping gear? Love your content format. Shows you have a flair for good photography. Continue the great work.

The other good thing about those dehydrated dinners is they make you constipated so you don’t have to do the dirt business much while traveling. Obviously not good if you’re going for a few days, but pretty good for overnighted.

What a cool trail. Thanks for the tour guide along with the great ride footage.
Riding the bike out there is about the only thing I miss about Colorado. Crested Butte over Monarch Pass was also one of my favorite runs.

Just moved to Colorado 3 months ago and chomping at the bit to get out there on my bike. Enjoyed your video. Thanks!
