Congrats neze, the house is beautiful, in the US, couples share the master bedroom. my suggestion is either to use "your" room as the youtube shooting room, or make it ur kids second room. then make a small space in the kid's living room for ur youtube. You will be wasting that room if you don't share the master with your hubby. That's why they put the he and her sink in the bathroom and separate the toilet with a door. it's built to be shared
I like the fact that you don’t live a lie, you are genuine and say things as they are. I am from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and one thing that am learning from you is parenthood and how to juggle being a parent at same time running a home and and having a job from since you were in Nigeria! One thing about Canada, landlords give you apartments like a home with lots of storage space with clean walls and appliances. May it a peaceful space for your family.
Congrats on your house! I would suggest using that open space upstairs as the kids living room/ play area and use the first bedroom like you mentioned as a filming space/office and it can also substitute as a guest room by purchasing a sleeper sofa.
Congratulations Neze! 🎉 That “room” in the entrance is called a coat closet. That’s where outside shoes, coats maybe even umbrellas things like that can be stored. When visitors come, that’s where you’ll hang their coats or outerwear. The small bathroom downstairs is called a half bath in the US. I don’t know if Canadians call if something different. The small space or closet next to the laundry room is called a linen closet. That’s where you put all of your bedsheets, duvets, towels etc. usually there’ll be one in your kitchen area as well (slightly bigger) that you can use for a pantry. But overall Once you settle in, your needs may change and your idea of a dream home now may change as your family grows and you need more space and amenities that are more convenient. For now enjoy this new home with your family. 😉

Congratulations Neze, I am truly happy for you. Maybe you and hubby can share the master bedroom so the kids can have 2 bedrooms. The open space upstairs can be divided in 2. One part for your office and the other for extra closet because trust me you will need it😂. You see that dishwasher? It will become your best friend as it saves lots of time lol. I tell you. I told myself I was going to be washing dishes with my hands but the dishwasher has now become my buddy. Our dear sister Neze will tell us her best friend in the house very soon 😂❤❤
Ikr, when I moved to the states I was washing with my hands until I used the dish washer. Herrrrhhhh my goodness. It was actually cleaner and shiny as compared to manual wash.
That room is called a CLOAK ROOM for hanging coats and shoes.. for your family and visitors when you don’t want them to get your house dirty…😅

Sry, please don’t take it that I’m telling you what to do. I think you should get an upright freezer instead of a deep one cos it will inconvenience you to keep bending digging tru the deep freezer to get things out. I had to get an upright one and it’s easy to get things from it.

The second closest is for your bedsheets, towels and bathroom tissue. The other door downstairs is your coat closest. Beautiful apartment, all that cabinets chai, if you come out one day and your cabinet is missing I took it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yes we have smaller rooms in average houses in Canada because of cost of heating the house in cold weather. The bigger the house the higher your heating bill.
In Nigeria there's no need for heating so we can afford larger homes.

Neze, I understand you needed a home ASAP, but with what I'm looking at, that kitchen is too small compared to most kitchens in Canada. I live in the US and I visited Canada some times ago. They have very huge houses in Canada and especially kitchens. I advise as you settle in well, you can find a bigger home than that. Just my opinion please
