Don't listen to the nay sayers Neze, you do you and what benefits your family. I'm so proud of you and how you and your husband are go-getters, keep up doing the good work. Now, one piece of advice from one fellow Afro Canadian woman to another. Please consider going back to college and then to university (or even straight to uni). For now, the application for UoC are just opening, look into applying and getting back in. Do it while you are still young and can juggle both family and school, it's doable. I went back to college (UBC Vancouver) at 44, and at that time was raising 5 children on my own as a single parent. It's not easy but it's not impossible either. Consider (seriously) getting into school of nursing at university of Calgary, they have a very good program. Both you and your hubby can do nursing however, since your husband has experience in the oil rigging industry, it is a very big thing in Alberta, he might probably be more interested in that. But for you, as an AfroCanadian woman, nursing will suit you very well, and it will open more doors for you than you can ever imagine. Once you get your bachelors, consider upgrading you lawyer credentials to match those in Canada, and then look into doing healthcare law. Don't get complacent, do these things while you still can. If you ever need any more advice, feel free to contact me, I would be very happy to help. Once again congrats gal, God bless.
I am sure she is a college graduate already from Nigeria. It's if she wants to further on that which is strictly on personal choice or career progression.
@@womenhelpingwomen9585 thanks for your kind advice but i beg to differ. Neze is born for the arts. When a couple is united, there is absolutely nothing that they cannot achieve. Congratulations Neze Peperempe on your successful relocation to Canada. Wushing you and your beautiful family more wins. ❤
Your journey (aside from the airport experience) is nearly 100% like my own with my wife, we did it all ourselves, I lived outside Nigeria for a while, so I got 2 police reports, my wife also is the Primary applicant cos of age, etc Nice one, I love hearing good news and stories. God will do it for others who are expecting also. Nice Vlog and great energy.
Mine is am a family of 5, my reason for relocation is the failed systems in Nigeria. I am believing that all will go well with our relocation. Neze I love you vlog❤
I had this exact thought in 2014. I could not see my children’s future in Nigeria minus the security. I felt they would have better opportunities abroad. This made me start the skilled worker process then.
Wow wow wow. Sis Neze. Your relocation videos have been beautiful. I am from Togo my parents and I relocated to the USA when I was 9 years old 17 years ago. Because I was a child, I did not have an idea of how the process was, I was recently that I began asking my parents to tell me how the process went. Your videos on your relocation just gave me a sense of gratitude to God for his grace on how far he has brought us, we've been US Citizens for 11 years now and it's by His grace. All I can say is relocation is by the Grace of God and I'm grateful. To you and your family I say Bienvenue, Welcome to the continent of America. Lord willing I hope to meet you someday when I travel to Canada.
Thanks for being a huge Blessing. Very open & loaded with informations that will help people planning to relocate. Thanks for being open , real & straight forward. God bless you.
This is why japa is only for the rich. If you want to japa begin to work hard and dont rob people for that. If its God's plan then you will get there. If not you can still make it in Nigeria, no pressure.
I just love you. That’s all I can say, all the way from Texas. Nne, welcome and wish you many many good things in Canada. Congratulations to you and your family ❤❤❤
Neze i have to give you credit that this is the most detailed video i have watched about express way. I love ❤️ your humour and your positivity ✨️. Thank you for sharing watching from Finland 🇫🇮
Neze excellent timing to educate your fellow country men and women who are now badmouthing Canada. You researched and prepared without relying on expensive immigration consultants. Your English is perfect so I can't imagine you having to write English exams. Good thing you are a lawyer and covers everything. Stay blessed and enjoy life in Canada. Love the colour of your hair.
Till date, NO ONE has been held accountable for the shooting at Lekki Toll gate...it's a shame, honestly!! And a lot of nonsense has happened since then, even the 2023 Elections. So painful, honestly😢 😢
What a journey that was! Relocation ain't cheap; costs money, time, thoughts, energy, etc Glad yours ended well finally. Cheers to greater achievements in Canada.
Smiled and laughed through the video, reminded me of our own PR process in 2019, BEST decision we made. Thanks for sharing and God-speed to those in the pool, hope you get here soon.
Are you having a cookout at your home for Thanksgiving this year? You radiate positivity and see the cup as half full which is the ideal approach to living your best life. Canada can be whatever you want it to be and at my age (66+), I appreciate my Canadian passport even more as it gives me access to over 100 countries visa free or hassle free so I have zero complaints. Too bad Visa is required for Ghana and some other African countries when travelling using a Canadian passport. Potential immigrants have to keep an open mind and realize they are starting over and middle age in these countries is like 44 years of age. No one cares if you drive a truck for a living walk and take public transportation, etc. Fantastic provisions for mentally unwell and persons with disabilities. I have former coworkers who migrated to Canada after I left several years ago (I changed careers and had just turned 45 when i started bicountry working/living) and they are happy somewhere out West driving the school bus part-time spending time raising their children after big corporate jobs. Why? They don't have to struggle to lift their disabled child now a teenager as in Canada schools and all public buildings are wheelchair accessible. It is the little things that matters. Caribbean people don't have to take the English test so process for us may be less tedious. Jamaicans graduated from visitor's visa free entry to Canada in the 1970s to mandatory visa requirements now for Jamaican visitors. Families and students leave in droves for Canada and other countries every year. We all have personal reasons. For me, Canada remains the best place for me to live away from Jamaica and is people friendly accommodating people from all over the world plus the government agencies afford translation for all languages long before Internet and Google translate. Enjoy your walks even in.the cold months and encourage your children to participate in winter sports. They seem to have your personality and will adjust readily 💯% as you dress appropriately for the different seasons.
Neze unpacked her boxes of food - this peas, that bean, dried fish and other items and I am thinking 'Is she going to open a shop or invite a village over for dinner?' I am vegetarian and could try some of the dried food Neze shipped to Canada. It took me a while to realize from watching TH-cam that Maze in Africa is Corn in 🇯🇲 or corn on the cob in 🍁 & 🇺🇸. Well instead of luggage (clothes, etc) after visiting relatives here when returning to major Diaspora areas, Jamaicans will travel with roasted breadfruit, ackee, fried fish, dozens of mangoes, etc. Neze is a truly an authentic representation of her country. She is one of my 3 fave vloggers from Africa. Never a dull moment. Canada is lucky to have her reside there. I can see her squishing fall leaves outside with her kids during this season, making snowman on her driveway with her kids this winter just to enjoy her new home and all 🇨🇦 has to offer. Next time I am in Toronto, I have to find a Nigerian shop to source items Neze unpacked with such delight. Apart from careers to date Neze could write direct and even perform on stage. She's got personailty 💯%. 🌸
