Babs sits down with Courtney Love in 1995 for an in-depth and candid interview.
Thanks to punklikeleno from the Turpentine boards for sharing this and many other fine Courtney Love/Hole media with the world.

You'd think Courtney Slept with Barbara's husband how she carried on with this interview. It was a bit disturbing.

Courtney rocked this interview. She was a young widowed mother in pain. Survivors guilt. She had a rough past and survived. Barbra can't relate. I empathize with her even more now in 2019

You can tell Barbara doesn't like her, her demeanor is judgemental and cold

I'm so happy to see the comments supportive of Courtney. A recently widowed mother who has struggled with addiction being interrogated in such a callous way, and still holding her own and remaining respectful. I can't understand why she gets so much hate. Courtney's been through more than most stars put together and people rip her apart for responding predictably to her own circumstances.

Kurt was never well. Before Courtney, and during Courtney he was never OK. They were bad for each other, but he admired her for being things he wasn’t. Strong, honest, and she loved the fame. Yeah she’s a lot of things maybe a compulsive liar and a personality disorder or two, but she’s very smart, cunning, and convincing. She’s sort of fascinating actually.

It's never someone else's fault that a person commits suicide.

She just jumped into “do u do drugs in front of your daughter “. That’s so rude and disrespectful. At least ease into that type of question.

This is not an interview, this is an interragation. Barb was wrong for that! This woman just lost her husband and the father of her child and she gonna go and patronize her and talk about negative shit. Wow!

"A junkie with a lot on his mind" What a horrible thing to say! Never could stand her arrogance.

A lot of folks forget that Courtney wasn't a psychotherapist, she was just a girl dealing with a lot of her own troubles and with no support from others. Depression is a very difficult illness to deal with and it requires the help of specialists and she just clearly wasn't one of them.

When Courtney in tears says "no, finish it, damn it, finish it" - so brave :(

I always found it tragically ironic that the majority of Kurt's fans hated and blamed Courtney like some form of ritualistic honor, without ever considering her sincerity or how dear she & Francis were to him.

Courtney had a horrible childhood so of course when a lil girl grows up with damaged self esteem you will be a dysfunctional adult. Remember that parents, your are responsible for how well you child grows up to be.
