I was patiently waiting for couple of years now, for you to analyse Nishane. It’s certainly one of my top houses next to Frederick Malle and Alessandro Gualtieri! I need to hear more from you!
aesop is a very popular brand in Asia. in Australia, we have aesop in majoritybof shopping malls. all of the shops have different unique deisgn. dont know how to describe their scent but what i could say is that all of thier perfume has its own unique dna, which is very identical. i have tacit which is not too dark while giving you a fresh woody forest feeling. longevity is the biggest problem for all of their perfume
Hoping for wider brand exposure, L'Oreaesop is planning a big holiday media push for what they refer to as a "niche-ish" banger available exclusively at your local Costco. It's called *3.Billion*.......
I missed it ..😢 too busy swimming 🏊♂️ 😜.. but the cherry on the cake is knowing that when having a break a video from mister Persolaise is waiting for me 😝😝😝
...Goodbye Aesop 👋- I think the large price tag due to their reach in the commercial (higher-end hotels and such) toiletries/skincare market. Gloam does sound intuiging though!
I adore Aesop however Gloam was a miss for me. It comes across as an insipid doppelganger of Rozu (a strong love) sans the rose. H01 sounds intruiging. I'm also interested in sampling Schoen's recent Molecule 01 + Black Tea release.
I found the G&B Ginger perfume underwhelming when I smelt it once. It was the middle of winter so maybe it would be nicer in summer? I feel the same about purple suede which I found the dry down to be quite horrid and pinging. Not soft at all.
Fragrance PR would have more meaning if written by AI. All these seem to have been written by random word selectors. To me they are simply word salad dressed with too much cheap oil & non brewed condiment! I have a sample of Gloam & enjoy it though it’s a bit less “hippie” than Marrakesh. Please could you review the lastest extensions to the M01+ range after your summer hiatus please?
Press releases certainly vary in quality. And I think you might find this link helpful 😉 persolaise.com/2023/04/escentric-molecules-molecule-01-moncler-le-solstice-moncler-le-bois-glace-and-other-reviews-2023.html
@@Persolaise It is a beautiful luscious natural floral amber, like many of her creations. Notes: Base: Mitti attar, aged Ruh Khus, Sumatran Patchouli, Mentawai oudh and Haitian vetiver. Middle: Ylang Ylang, Champaca, Pink Lotus, Tuberose and Jasmine (Grandiflora, Sambac and Auriculatum). Top: Italian Bergamot, Japanese Yuzu, Pink Peppercorn, Labdanum, Birch tar, Ambrette Seed, Sandalwood (Santalum Album and Spicatum). Very delectable, a combination of an earthy ambery base, very thick yellow and white florals and a spicy, citrusy yet airy top. Like a dense rainforest after a shower. Did you ever try Blue Lotus by TRNP? It is in that vein, just more earthy and ambery.
I'm familiar with the word 'mana' and have heard it many times usually in a religious context. The mana of my life and I guess that of many of us is smelling amazingly good fragrances. 😂
Still remember Mr Persolaise’s confounded face while sniffing “Purple Suede” and asking “why did you want me to try this??” Hahaha! I still think Purple Suede is a lovely scent, too bad it would only show a sweet and blah note to Mr. Persolaise 😭😂
Nishane doesn't interest me that much. I think they cater to "beast mode" and faux luxury market a lot. One of the few scents that I think I might like is Afrila-Olifant.
Lovely video as per yooje. Je n'ai que deux commentaires cette fois: 1. Ma'na means 'meaning' in Arabic (with the apostrophe denoting a gutteral 'ayn' sound as used in the first letter of the word 'Oud' - or the first letter in the word 'Arab' for the matter of that). 2. Why would Escentric conjure images of Abu Dhabi when Harrods is wholly-owned by Qatar - a land with its own rich landscapes and oriental evocations hmm? Could it be Qatar extending the olive branch after so long being ostracised by the rest of the Gulf for its righteous political stances? I hope not. Keep fighting the good fight, Qatar!
1 whole hour of delicious perfume talk and my favourite part your reaction to the Chanel quote - a girls should be …. “I would say if she wants to” 🙌
Ha! Well, we can’t allow Chanel to be too prescriptive, can we 😉
“This is not made by a robot” LOVE THAT!
😉 Thanks for watching.

I’ll see if I can review a few more of theirs.
I would love to see your selections for tea fragrances, been looking for a black tea scent. Molecules has one that’s pretty good.
I think tea is a very difficult note to do well.
Purple suede from Goldfield is a must try!
I know quite a few people enjoy that one.
From that Nishane launch, I really end enjoyed NEFS. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s much more pleasant than the other two.
Thanks. I’ll have to see if I can find it.
Right? NEFS is on my to buy list, but steep price keeps it low

My favorite ginger fragrance is “like this” by Etat Libre
That one is absolutely superb.

The recordings will always be here. Thanks for watching.

Yes, it’ll be interesting to see how the brand develops now.
I adore Aesop however Gloam was a miss for me. It comes across as an insipid doppelganger of Rozu (a strong love) sans the rose.
H01 sounds intruiging. I'm also interested in sampling Schoen's recent Molecule 01 + Black Tea release.
Thanks very much for watching. I think I reviewed the Black Tea scent here a little while ago.
I found the G&B Ginger perfume underwhelming when I smelt it once. It was the middle of winter so maybe it would be nicer in summer? I feel the same about purple suede which I found the dry down to be quite horrid and pinging. Not soft at all.
Thanks for watching. This ginger one is very pleasant and approachable.
Nishane Nefs is the best imo. A masterpiece
I’ll have to try to find it.

@@Persolaise many thanks. Enjoy your down time
There is only one nice scent called Mana, and that's done by Teone Reinthal
Ah, I’m not familiar with that one.

But thank goodness that many people have found something they like in it.
@@Persolaise after your suggestion, I gave Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria series a try and love their Ginger Poccante. How’d you compare Indigenous Ginger?
Nishane doesn't interest me that much. I think they cater to "beast mode" and faux luxury market a lot. One of the few scents that I think I might like is Afrila-Olifant.

Thanks very much for this. And I genuinely don’t know about the Abu Dhabi connection. Maybe Geza likes the city.
