  • I add an Undercover Fab Transfer Case Skid plate to my 2005 Jeep LJ Rubicon. This part gave me 2”+ extra clearance under the Jeep allowing for a better Break-over angle.
    Be sure to checkout the RUBICON Pump relocation Video coming soon !!

    I have an 06 TJ Rubicon with 6 speed and 241 TC. It has a 4" lift with adjustable control arms. I watched your locker pump relocation video. Nicely done. To install the UFC Transfer Case Skid, did you add a body lift or use UCF LOPRO ('03-'06 TJ & LJ) Trans. Mount or can any driveline vibrations be resolved by adjusting the control arms to correct the pinion angle? (Note: I've already install a cable shifter for TC). Thx

    What tire size are you running and does it rub off-road? Beautiful jeep!

      Thank you. Tires here are 33x12.50-17's no rubbing at all at full lock off road. Jeep did great at TN trail Jam on yellow trail.

    Did you have to do a body lift for this particular skid?

    I'm working on prepping and painting my UCF bumper. Unfortunately, the pitiful packaging and/or the Fedex handling caused numerous dents and gouges.
    You REALLY should be wearing a respirator.

    I am new to your channel and have an 04 Rubicon TJ. I am thinking about the tummy tuck, I have read some say that the rear drive shaft length needs to be changed even though they already have the OEM SYE. Did you have any vibration or other issues there?

    • @dksgarage6061
      @dksgarage6061  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues and I never changed the rear driveshaft. Now, I will say I didn't off road or flex it very much.

      No need for the SYE on the Rubicons...

    What kind of socket is that you’re using? It doesn’t look like any 3/8 or 1/2 drive i’ve ever seen!
