digging the new studio setup! and the intro had me rolling, also a fun fact that i just learned. Dont use wire wheel brushes on aluminum, it pits mares and destroys the corrosion resistance of it. Instead use something called carborundum paper. itll still remove the corrosion and rust, but wont hurt the aluminum.
Yeah I want this skid plate. I had to remove the MORE skid plate I had before becouse it was binding up my front driveshaft whenever I tried to climb or pitch the wrangler.
This is by far the best skid but will require the most work because of how high it tucks the tcase. Gotta make sure you have the whole lot (adjustable control arms, preferred super/mega slip yoke eliminator) custom driveshafts ect) or your bound to run into binding and vibrations.
All very true, though most high clearance skid plates will require most of that to start with. But, good point all of that and a body lift with a motor mount lift is pretty much required to make this skid plate work correctly.
I have the Savvy engine transmission skid, and their rock sliders but not their belly up skid. I love the savvy stuff I have, but their wait times and LACK OF INSTRUCTIONS is a pain. I had to call them and give them my order number to get emailed instructions, but ended up using ones I found on the forums because they were better.
I also have the Savvy rock sliders and their tie rod as well and they are equally as awesome. Totally agree the lack of instructions suck. But hopefully the previous video to this helps out some. The online instructions on forums are oddly far better for most of their stuff. The only thing I can really fault them for is not creating documents on how to install their stuff. Otherwise, great products!
I like Savvy products , however every time I look something up from them it says available on backorder only . So most of the time I have to get what I'm looking for from someone else . Take care and catch you on your next video.

Glad you enjoyed it! That's good to know, ill keep that in mind for next time.

I can only image how frustrating that was! I think it's pretty hard to beat the Savvy skid plate, it really is a well-designed system.

@@EmbarkWithMark I just tried to buy their aluminum tie rod but I waited too long. I missed out on their 1/4” aluminum bumper too.
I also wish I had the aluminum bumper. :(

Savvy products are pretty awesome. They do have some pretty long lead times on parts, sometimes. Thank you for watching!
yeah.... anybody want to help me do this to mine?
After installing this a second time. I can say, having a friend helps. lol!
