Many of you have not yet been bought up to speed.....
For after the great flood, God now introduces and so welcomed all meats into our diets.
"God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things."
      Gen 9:1-3 (KJV)
      Hurrah!

@@thewatcher7728 True. In this age it is perfectly fine to eat meat...or eat a genesis 1 diet...and everything in between.
So while i strongly disagree with the good Doctor on many points...and that the Bible worldview and a vegan worldview are in opposition to each other....i do understand the value of a plant based diet for optimum nutrition which is consistent with scripture but not commanded.

Thank you Dr Mills. I had gotten very sick due to my diet and have been for years praying for God's healing, not seeing that He had put it right in front of my face. Earlier this year God shined a light for me on Gen 1:29. He had also revealed to me the characteristic of idolatry in Isaiah where God provided the tree for man's needs, with half of it he cooked his food and warmed himself, yet with the other half he made an idol. Is that not what we have done with God's dietary provision for us in plants? We have said to God, I need to eat something that tastes better, something I can create with my own hand, and thus we process foods and slaughter the animals he gave us to care for. And I love that you wrapped up with the passage from 2 Timothy. I am so blessed that I found the WFPB way if eating, and through it God has healed much if my illness and is continuing to heal the ones that remain. I have also lost 60 lbs so far. I praise God for men like you who give of your time to educate those who are sick and seeking answers. Did you even realize that God was using you to heal and encourage people you have never even seen, like me? Just as God has given us the Gospel for our eternal well-being and for His glory, He has given us His wisdom regarding our well-being while on this earth. Thank you for teaching us not only the science behind eating a whole food plant-based diet, but for so eloquently explaining the Godly wisdom behind it as well. Forever grateful to you Dr Mills ❤️.

That’s my fault, but I had just gone a little over a year vegan and got sick (Flu not covid) and resulted back to how my mother nursed me back to health with chicken noodle soup, vicks, orange juice, vernors, and halls. I am now on a water fast cleaning my system taking healing herbs tea and praying that I do not allow myself to become tempted again for I feel as though your video was put into my feed, to motivate me and to help me stay the course and I am grateful to run across your presence it helping me through this! Remember. You are not designed to eat just green leaves and herbs.
“I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
There you have it, Genesis chapter 1, you are designed to eat variety, nuts, seeds, fruits, roots, in abundance, from everywhere. Be creative. You don’t need to punish yourself. Seek out the ethnic food stores, find out about and try different cultures. Find ways to prepare food that you really like. I am from north Europe, but I love Middle Eastern food from Lebanon, Persia, Jerusalem. I love the way they can put rice, lentils, dried fruits, herbs and fragrant spices together and create something so appetising you just want to keep on eating. Aleppo pepper, tamarind, roast fennel, smoked paprika, soft dates, fresh pears you can smell as well as taste. When you discover the richness of fragrances of plant food from round the world, the everyday diet most people eat in the west is so unsatisfying and is only addictive if you don’t give yourself access to a better choice.

Am vegan, and a spirit filled Christian, and know the Bible does support a PBD. However I didn’t change my eating because it’s a commandment, but because I don’t digest animal products and I believe this way of nutrition has immensely helped me. Jesus Christ ate fish as did the disciples. But scripture from the Old Testament certainly support a natural and earth diet. Praise God. My body feels so much better.

Yes, Jesus ate fish and a Seder Passover requires lamb to be served. But these were occasional meals. Not daily intake. The daily food really isn't mentioned (exception of Bread, which had to be sourdough then). Daniel probably described the daily food of Hebrews, which Jesus was!!!

Thank you Doc for talking about this. That is indeed a God's endeavor!
I have returned in Italy after long time abroad and to Catholicism, and I am sorry to say, have found the majority of monks, nuns, and priests still eating animal products, and being ignorant about the impact that their food choice has on the environment, and indulgent in their eating.
So sad, expecially because, in my experience, clensing ourselves from darkness and addictions, pass from eating plant based. It is much easier to experience God when you eat LIGHTer food (fruits vibrate at an higher vibration than meat and grosser food, and your body become what you feed it with). Our spiritual life is very much impacted by what we eat, as you also said!
I am glad that there are knowledgeable people like you, dear Dr., doing the work to inform people.
Blessings and love to you and your loved ones, from Italy.

You did more than explain the relationship between what we eat and the ability to communicate with God. You drew my attention to a passage of scripture that I have read several times, but never noticed that it was the animals he created first after God said He will make Adam a helper comparable to him. That was powerful for me because it just prove that the word of God is powerful and is an infinite source of abundance of knowledge to the point where you can read something a million times and learn something new each time and yet if you read it 10 more times after that He will still reveal something new that you were not allowed or able to see the previous times, but only if you are spiritually connected. But I understand that He give us knowledge in increments as He sees fit. Truly, God is awesome, He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and definitely The Light of the world! I thank you for that eye opener and for your due diligence in studying and sharing the word. Be replenished🙏🏾

I absolutely love Doctor Mills and respect his work in the African American community. Nice to see that the discussion about the rights of the animals and the impact of religion on how humans have justified their enslavement is becoming more mainstream.
This is very timely because ‘Christpiracy” has just been released. I am wondering how it will impact American society and their views on diet and the animals.
I am a very happy, healthy atheist who has followed a plant-based diet since 1981. Back then i could see the hypocrisy of society especially those of the religious who seemed blind to the suffering they caused the animals. While i do not subscribe to the Bible as a guiding moral book, there are passages in it that reflect that some writers kept to a more gentle philosophy especially when speaking of other species.
Has anyone here seen ‘Christpiracy’ yet? What is your opinion of it? Do you think it will help people to change to healthier ways of eating and more compassion to the animals?

I remember one time I went to one of those Brazilian steakhouses, where they bring out all types of meat for you to try. It was delicious, but afterwards after eating all that meat, I literally felt sick the whole day. Brain fog, cloudy thinking, lethargic. I was miserable. Will never do that again to my body.
