What’s up brother! Love the channel. Question for ya, I have a 2018 Subaru wrx where the hill assist, traction control, and abs came on. Do you think this could be the issue?
For the 2014 and lower model yes it did for me. I know a few people have been mentioning it about the 2015 and up models, I can speak on that. It did fix it for my car. I just had to play with what adjustment it needed.
Mine 2019 WRX traction / abs / check engine / hill assist came on once I started the car. Drove it last night perfectly fine. Would you consider it the same problem? I’ve hear it might be my abs speed sensor due to brake dust and metal flakes.
It could be both hard to tell for sure. I know that this solution isn’t too expensive to start with. It also doesn’t take any tools to do. I think it would be a good starting point in diagnosing the problem. It sounds like the same problem I had to answer your question.
I bought the new part. It was very simple to install. My traction control, abs, and hill assist are all still on. I have a 2018 wrx. Any other recommendations brother before I have to take it to the dealership?
Yes it can be quite difficult to get the proper setting when I was diagnosing the problem somtimes I could make it stop by adjusting it in a few clicks. It just takes a lot of patience and fiddling.
I’d recommend adjusting how far in and out that sensor is as it made a difference for me. If just the hill assist is off it may be another issue. Possibly a blown fuse or abs wheel speed sensor.

Thanks brother! And yeah I’d definitely start here as it’s a pretty simple and cheap fix!
@OutdaWayyy, I'm having the same issues with an 18 wrx, did this solution work out for you?
@@1165reddragon curious what you did as well? I just got this on my 18 Wrx
If my brake lights work just fine then this isn't the issue right?
Did those dash lights ever come back? Did the new BLS really fix the issue?

when three indicators are on, can you still use break? Mine has similar issue and break system is locked up by abs I think.
Yes I was able to still use the brakes.

Any updates bro? I had the EXACT problem this morning
I would still try this fix first as it’s cheap and not hard to do either! I can’t speak to the newer models if this is the fix but it’s a good start.
Thanks! I actually ordered the part today! I'll update the thread for anyone in the future:)
Thanks that would be great!

Abs sensor maybe?
What ended up being the solution? This just happened on my 18’ Wrx
I’m not sure how or if this would fix the problem on the 2015 and up vehicles.
were you able to fix it? my 18 Forester has this problem and the brake switch didn't fix it..
Thanks fir the video and help!
I'm still having trouble getting the right adjustment on mine

@@legacyrebuilds yeah I'm going to put more time into it this weekend. My WRX is doing literally the exact same thing
I’m watching this on my phone and it’s not showing me the description… what is that part number?

So,show us no lights on any more.
Oh sorry about that I definitely should have. It worked for me, but sadly I sold the car so I can’t post an update video showing no lights.
Mine is like screwed on it’s weird
Should be able to twist 90degrees and pull out I believe?
Disabled hill assist after a week.

I think the HA is just not well designed, better off without it. Long press on the traction control will disable it. Video on YT.
