Of course I'm older than you and Bonnie so I gave in a while back and bought the Tiny pump 2X at 96 grams but has a great light and I hang it in the top of my tent. It's a permanent part of my kit now. ✌
What is the battery? You can buy it with or without the battery. If the battery is a standard Lithium laptop battery or similar, you could take a couple and go for a long time between chargings.
They don't answer the phone, they don't return calls - The "Chat" feature does not work, it says they will email you, but they don't. It's hard for me to send money to buy an item if a company doesn't have Customer Service!
Sorry man, I'm just doing a review of the product itself - can't comment on the company's policies etc... What's the issue that you need to contact them about?
@@VeloObscura I hear ya... When I do a tour longer than just a few weeks, I'm sure my tune would change too. But, for now, my Scottish side is saying no way... lol
I have the original. I bought it thinking it was a joke. But it works fantastically. Honestly, I think the original is better than this one. It gives a lot more pumps per charge cycle. I do, however, like the removable/replaceable battery Nice review, mate 👍
Thanks mate! Yeah, I was sort of in the same camp. Seemed pointless, but after pumping up my mat thousands of times, I figured it was worth a try - and I love it! Big selling point for me was just how tiny it is. Things seem like less of a luxury when they're less of a burden! 😅
@VeloObscura at my age, these little things aren't luxuries. They're necessities 🤣 But regardless of what model, they work and work bloody well. I'm planning on the Flextail bug repeller 👍 as well
Yeah, I saw the bug repeller! Looks amazing! Big consideration for me because they love my pommie blood. I have some travel planned in places with mosquito-borne diseases, so seems like a good idea. I wasn't sure about the "ammunition" they take though and where to restock.

CR123A or RCR123A batteries. They're not too hard to find! 😁
If it inflated tires too..
They're currently developing one for tyres!
Will have a review for you before the end of the year. 👍
Nice.
Yeah I hope the pump is good because their customer service is terrible and slow shipping response!!!
That's unfortunate. I haven't had any issues with their customer service, but if it's any consolation - the pump is awesome!

To each their own, but $60 CAD for something I can easily do myself is too much... But that's just me, I'm a cheap bastard... lol
I CAN do it myself too! It's just becoming a drag after the 900th time! 🤣
