Very impressive gadget! I grew up in the ancient era where we just huffed and puffed until we passed out - and, of course, that fills the mattress with damp air (not a good thing). I eventually bought a self-inflating Therm-a-Rest Pad which is much easier but no where as nifty as this thing is!!
I bought mine on their website with the vacuum bags. They would great to really compress and keep my spare cloths dry. I dunno if I wanna try them on my quilts though lol
@@Woodswalker1965 oh I don’t store them compressed but I put them in their stuff sacks when I hike these might make them flatter for the hike but I dunno
I’ve not tested the longevity of the charge cycle but quite a few for sure. I inflated and deflated at least 8 times on the single charge and I haven’t charged it since. It charges easily with one of those pocket sized 10-20000 mah chargers most of us carry to keep out phones topped up.
I’ve used it many times between charges although I haven’t kept track. The battery is a usb-c plug in which is included. It charges easily with those 10-20000 mah slim chargers we all carry for phones and flashlights. Thanks for watching.
It’s louder than a hand pump but only runs a short time. I don’t believe it takes regular batteries but is very convenient to charge and lasts a long time. Thanks for watching😂
Cool pump!
I've also seen people use them as bellows for campfires.
That is a great idea!🔥

Oh I remember my first self inflating Therm-a-rest I bought in 1990. Still going strong!😂

Keep those quilts fluffed!!!!😂😂

I agree, The Flextail Zero is a great bit of kit. Thanks for sharing Wade
Take care Mark!👍
That looks pretty cool. How many inflate/deflate cycles can you get out of a single charge?

Great looking pump. I may have to give it a try!
Have a great weekend buddy👊
How many times can you use it between charges and does the battery have a magnetic charge? Thanks looks good.

Tested mine with Exped Ultra 3R LW (197 x 65 cm) and it hold up until 35x completely inflating with full battery, didn't use deflating.
@patrickschlauch6638 wow that’s awesome info, thank you!
Does it last? My other Flextail pump died and would not charge after just a few months.
I have a couple and they are both working. I believe they have at least a one year warranty so possibly you could get a replacement.
Nice a review showing the deflate. I'm with you the deflate is worse than inflating the darn pad.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated 👍
That thing looks badass! Nice combo with the mattress, time to go make another withdrawal and grab one of those...
It’s a great piece of kit, I don’t like camping without it!
Can be used olsa for drain water?
@@nicolachirillo8513 No it is only for air. Thank so much for your support!
It would help getting a fire going , turbo bellows !
It does actually, I forgot to demo that! Thanks for watching👍
It sounds awfully loud. Will it take real batteries, I do not like anything rechargeable?

Nice. I hadn't seen one of these before.
We love it!

Hi Wade,
Excellent little piece of gear…‼️👍🏻
Great video my friend 👍🏻💯
Thanks for watching my friend👊
Great video wade buddy nice rig to have for sure
Thanks 👍
You failed to mention a most important detail.... No breath moisture to mold the inside of the item !!!!
That’s a good feature for sure. Thanks for the comment👍
True!
Nice pump Wade👍. Thanks for sharing. Take care my friend. 🇺🇲🔪🌲🔥
You too buddy!👍
The Flextail Zero is over 2oz. with the battery and nozzle fitting... Its nonsense to rate a weight of a product dismantled just to gain attraction.
I see your point but I’m not going to worry over a few grams. Thanks for watching!
Brilliant that,no more purple face.😂
True😂😂😂😂
awesome
Thanks for the visit!👋😁
Whats shit about it is it comes with a usb c charge cable and yet there is no way tomcharge it. Absolute rubbish
Mine charges up just fine🤷🏻♂️
Garbage. Slightest bit of humid or damp conditions and it stops working, permanently. Looks good in a youtube test, NFG in real world usage
Hmmm I’ve had a few of these over the past few years with 0 failures in hot humid and cold wet conditions.
