I'm sorry the package got destroyed and failed to arrive, brother. That is really quite sad. I know it's the thought that counts, but the food would have been awesome!
Thanks so much for those prayers! My dad is up walking without his walker! Now that's a Christmas miracle! He is getting stronger and taking better care of himself, drinking more water and eating a bit less. Mom is slowly getting some of her rest back, but is not slowing down much. She is fixing him less, so she is helping him in this way, which is a blessing, too!
God bless you, brother! Tomorrow will be cold here, too, and then a slow warm up. Christmas Eve we have a chance for freezing rain ... oh no! There are many who may be caught off guard. Stay safe! May God bless you more! And may you bless the Lord!

Is that a little foot bridge in the background? What a lovely property you have. God bless you. This is the best way to give this devotion. I hope it never gets covered in snow. I never get enough of the devotions. All we need do is ADORE Him. Chris Tomlin sang this song. It is so beautiful. I would love to play it but YT is really stopping all borrows. I even say they can monetize if they think they will make a ton of money. I guess my stuff does not make anyone rich. LOL Thank you Bev. Love you my dear sister. God bless you. Have a beautiful, peaceful, joyful week. May your dad be here for your week of Christmas.

No footbridge! But tht sounds like a good idea! Just me and a few birds and the Nandina berries .. and God in the breeze around us ~ and you and brother Norman, of course! I am blessed to have you both so faithfully stopping by to share the Joy of His Good News! I cannot tell you how that blesses my heart!
We just got back from visiting with Mom and Dad and he is walking without his walker! O Christmas miracle! God is leading him and helping him to do things to take care of himself ~ Praise God!
Your fractals and imaginative movies are magical! You make it sound easy, but I know better than that ~ Your creativity and creative ability is unique and quite captivating! You do awesome stuff, sister!
I hope you have hot water back soon ~ and home is home sweet home again soon! Love you, sister! You are a gift to me! May God bless you more! May you bless the Lord!

@@ATouchOfTheSun THAT is a Hanukkah miracle. Do you know the story of Hanukkah? The chandelier on which the pil lamps were kept held 7 candles (they were not wax and they were candles shaped).
The Menorah as we know it today is a fixture in every Jewish home and synagogue.
      The Miracle of the Oil
Originally, the eight-day holiday was intended to parallel the eight-day festival of Sukkot. The books of the Maccabees made no mention of the legend concerning a small jar of oil that unexpectedly lasted for eight days. Only centuries after the Maccabees’ defeat of the Syrians did the story of the jar of oil - which has come to be associated with Hanukkah - appear in the Talmud.
According to the legend, when the Maccabees entered the Temple and began to reclaim it from the Greeks, they immediately relit the ner tamid, which burned constantly in the Temple and has a parallel in our synagogues to this day. In the Temple, they found a single jar of oil, which was sufficient for only one day. The messenger who was sent to secure additional oil took eight days to complete his mission, and miraculously, the single jar of oil continued to burn until his return. The rabbis of the Talmud attributed the eight days of Hanukkah to the miracle of this single jar of oil. Hence the 8th candle stands for Hanukkah. The oil outlasted the siege. It is recorded in the book of Maccabees, and all of my Jewish friends celebrate it as such.
They leave a seat open for Elijah. If anyone comes that the family does not know, the family will let them in and invite them to dinner. They may be feeding Elijah!
So now your dad has a Hanukkah miracle and a Xmas miracle. Praise His Name. Jesus is healing. GBY love you. Have hope.

@@JJDigitalartStudio Thank you for the blessings of your messages to us about the traditions of the Jewish people, God's people! To share your first-hand accounting of the customs and traditions and the reasons and story behind them is a blessing to our hearts! I know very little about Jewish customs, so thank you for sharing that. That is particularly intriguing about leaving a seat for Elijah! I love that tradition! God bless you, sister!
Yes, my dad is a miracle! I can't thank you enough for those prayers that helped to bring him back! Mom said tonight that when they brought him in, she was told he was in respiratory failure. I think God was with him from the beginning, and my dad feels His presence. God bless you and brother Norman for those precious prayers! I have hope ~ we have hope! And peace, love, and God's precious Grace and Mercies ~ and forgiveness! May we bless the Lord!

@@ATouchOfTheSun They are here and it is 8:15 am. We had to cover everything. They have to grind down a few uneven spots. Let us pray that is all that's needed. At least they are starting in the laundry room. That was put in later. They had the slab under that installed later than the rest of the house.
Caliche, our dirt is not like clay. When it rains the caliche is not able to absorb all the water. We are on a slight uphill grade where the house stands. That means that the house is sliding down the hill at about a 16th of an inch every year.
So our bare floor looks a little like ~. If you put straight fitted vinyl sections onto the rubber mat beneath, it will lift and can be a terrible problem. I did not like the ceramic tile anymore. It was not like we were walking on shards of ceramic. The middle tiles buckled and Mike pulled them up and broke all 4. Then he set 4 off color tiles he got free (old demo tiles). We covered it with a throw rug and it would have been fine for Xmas. We would deal with this next year. All this before the holidays is just a little too much. I am going for an appt today. I don't want to say what for here. If I tell others it'll be all over. ahem. I sent Norm some twin bed sheets. They may be a little big but that means he gets good coverage. They are microfiber. Feels like cotton dries in 20 minutes . And I ordered a fleece blanket twin size. He can double it if necessary and have twice the blanket. This new fleece is light but warm. It picks up the body heat and it is so easy to wash and dry. I thought for a guy grey. Guys are not good with frufru colors.
Besides, grey does not show dirt. Could you email me. I want to tell you but not here. Love you, J. I will be off and on today. Visit in the am and hair at 1:30. My God daughter is giving me a wash before the holidays so if we do go out I have clean hair. I have dry shampoo but that is the last thing to do. I get it washed once a week. My right hand and left shoulder keep me from being able to wash my own hair and get it clean.
I have been having it done for 11 years. First the knee, then the ankle, then the wrist, and then the cataract surgery. New lens in both eyes. Carpal tunnel and now this:
      pain that increases during movement
a lump or bump in or around the tendon
      swollen fingers
cracking or snapping feeling when bending your finger
heat or warmth in the affected finger
redness. There use to be gold injections which cost a fortune and did nothing. This is tendon problems not the cartilage.
