Wow! What a marvelous legacy your father lived and left for his family! Are any of his sermons recorded for others to hear ~ what a great influence I'm sure your family was, with God among you all! I am so thankful you stopped by to share the joy of His Good News with us, my friend in Christ! May God bless you more! May you bless the Lord!❤
@@Southerncookingbackwoodsliving I hope you can get it published ~ how awesome! I'm praying your dad's writings will get published and his legacy will be there for his future generations! God bless you all!
I think they know who feeds them ~ I was really surprised it didn't run away. I think they were too hungry to care about me! I'll bet your squirrels are cutie-patooties, too! GBY, sis!
@@ATouchOfTheSun When we get to see them. They are the fave prey of coyotes and javelinas. So they stay underground most of the winter. They saved us hundreds of dollars when they excavated the ground under our shed. It sat just below the eave and was pushing the eve up and water got onto our living room wall. They dug down so their nests would not flood. It took the pressure off the eave and the leaking stopped.
I thank God for my cobbled family. I always wondered why the women of the Bible wanted their maids to bear children for them. How do you know a female bluebird is a bluebird because it is not blue. I thank God for you and my YT Christian family. I thank God for all those who pray when we need it. Prayer warriors. The creatures in the deepest oceans. I hope that when the sea dies, God would give them a home elsewhere, where they can just be without men bothering them. I pray for my friends and family. God bless you Bev. Love you and hugs. Hi Sis! You're part of my brothers and sisters in Christ I am most thankful for! You all are the ones who inspire me and keep me searching for a better and deeper understanding of God's ways and how to become a better person ~ I truly thank God for my family in Christ, probably above most things in my life. As I get older, earthly things have faded away, highlighting the things that are important. And these things are things money can't buy! Friendship, truth, kindness, gentleness, love, compassion, grace, mercy, joy, forgiveness ~ all free gifts from God, flowing from Him and through His children, which is you all and my family! I can't live without these gifts, and He strengthens me with His unfailing love! Now that is priceless, indeed! I recognized the reddish and white breast and the shape of the head and body. The females are really kind of drab, especially in the winter. The males still hold on to their gorgeous turquoise blue color when the sun is on the feathers. Without the sun, they can look pretty drab. There's probably a metaphor in there for letting God's SONshine to reflect all His glory! Yes, I am most thankful for those prayer warriors, too, sister! What a wonderful thing to be thankful for! Indeed, where would we be without them? And I pray for the ocean to be restored to the beauty He created, and for gentleness amongst all creatures, on land and in the sea. Praise God for His ultimate plans! We will be happy in them! Thank you for your prayers! I pray for you and your family and hope you are continuing to get stronger every day. I love you, and I am sending you hugs back, straight from the arms of Jesus! Where would we be without Him?! May God bless you more, sis! May you bless the Lord!
@@ATouchOfTheSun Mike went for a better more precise ultrasound this morning. Monday he has a consult with a vascular surgeon to fix his aneurysm. He is fine but I am sure he is scared of the thing blowing too. Just PRAY that the doctors and nurses do their jobs as best they can. Just because we are old does not negate our reasons for living. Some folks still need us. Love and GBY
@@JJDigitalartStudio So has Mike actually had an aneurysm or is it enlarged and potentially "blowing"? Rick has an enlarged aorta and is being watched for an aneurysm. They think he was born that way, and it has not enlarged since they started watching it. It sounds like Mike is in a potentially dangerous place if they think it can rupture at any time. I hope things go well for you two. I pray things calm down for you guys ~ you've certainly been through a lot this last couple of months. I am praying for you guys. Keep us up on this situation. God bless you both! Love you, sister!
@@ATouchOfTheSun It is in his abdomen between his stomach and liver toward the spine, from there down the rest is called the femoral artery. His is low. Which is better because if it burst his other organs would keep him from bleeding out. No aneurysm is good, but this one is not the worst place they occur. I am going to see a counselor, who is Christian Monday. I think it will help me get thru this upcoming stuff and pray too. We claimed healing for Mike in Jesus' name and we now put it in God's hands. We accept what God's will each day as it comes. God is so good! Thank you for praying dear sis. GBY
What gives you joy? What do you thank God for? How does He draw you unto Him? Psalm 148 the third Hallelujah psalm. All creation is called to praise God, our creator! Hallelujah! We praise You, Lord! Seek to honor God, carry out His will, and bless Him every day!
