Those red berries really look so bright because all the rest is pale green or stick brown. Love the sun that leaves your shadow looks like it is protecting the garden. Very uplifting psalm. AHa! I was hoping the shadow wouldn't be noticed! I see I didn't go unnoticed after all! We had to leave early, so there was no time to think it through too much. We had another "Golden Day," the third in a row! Today was an appointment and some other things, taking all day. But it was a successful day, as the eye doc took off one of her Glaucoma drops that was making her short of breath. At 88 YO, that is a bit unnerving. Her pressures actually went down while being off of it for about six weeks. So the signs were good enough to let her drop it. The one she still will be taking is doing the job on its own. Praise God! Tomorrow will be catching up with my folks a bit. They live nearby, so it won't take all day. My dad is doing a bit better, but I am thankful for the team that comes in, nursing, PT and OT to check on him. He has a special thing that he gets on to check his weight every morning, and it is transmitted to their office. Same with the blood pressure, I think. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know all about it. But they are doing a lot of monitoring remotely. I hope this type of patient care only gets better, allowing people to stay in their homes! Think how that would improve so many people's lives as they age and encounter small setbacks. Surely, they will heal much faster and stay mentally and emotionally better off!
