I worked in aviation maintenance almost 40 years. What most of these RV builders needs is to hire retired corporate aviation professionals and give them veto power over delivery, as all of these problems would be addressed before the coach left the factory.

We bought a new Newmar 2023 and had a lot of problems finally we drove out to the factory I will say they were very nice and fixed everything the technician we had did tell us they had problems with that year due to Covid issues from supply venders so alls well we ordered a new 2024 from the factory and loving it

They are all fixable...it just depends how much time, money and expectations you have! Pre 2020 were built with more proudness usually. But still a box made by human. Think about it this way, they are one of a kind pieces of art 😉. Some are hyperrealism, some are impressionism, some are abstract, and sadly, some are childish built 😆

The hand clap at the beginning of filming is because you've gotta make sure that camera girl is AWAKE. Stow and Go test is fine when it's daylight, and you're not half asleep in a Wal-Mart parking lot with a dog blocking the only path...😂😂😂
I do not know why you clap your hands together, Pierre. My guess is that it is to draw the viewer's attention. Our 2022 New Aire's slide seals still do not all flip all the time, but we're training them by flipping them each time we extend our slides. Daylight visible when slides are retracted is wrong and should be addressed. Newmar did it for us while we were under warranty. Hope to run across you sometime in the future. Safe travels! :-)

All I can say is thank God that we still have a few good people in this world like 2 , but we can always use more . I don't like bad mouthing anybody , but you too have to watch these 2 you tube channels , just maybe you already know about this . But its a must for u2 to watch . My Bucket List ( huge problems with broken rv frame over 17 breaks ) another one to watch with the same make of trailer ( Paving New Paths ) .. I hear there is over 70 trailers has the same problem . There should be a class action lawsuit in the making . Somebody should phone the D O T to get involved , before somebody gets killed

Newmar has really gone down hill. I guess this is what they mean by their low end model. I almost want to look at one a few years old and then have it inspected before I buy it. Hopefully the previous owner went through all of the normal new RV issues. How does something like this leave the factory. There is no QC anymore at all.
OK I am up for the challenge: my best guess is that Pierre claps his hands at the beginning of his segment because that is how he psyches himself up to do it and it has nothing to do with video editing. It is a shame about the slide out and the mold in the Kountry Star. Fortunately, General RV has 2 others for your customer to look at....all 23s and hopefully without the issues........but the one we just saw is still available. Now my question for Pierre: what does he do for fun to de-stress after interacting with RV dealers and clients who want inspections done yesterday?
So, my wife and I are planning on purchasing a Motorhome when she retires in 2 years. How far out is too far out to start planning your services?☺ We have narrowed our choices for make and model but are still debating new or used. Not sure where we will be purchasing from either, we're in Texas but if there is a better deal somewhere else we have no problem traveling to get it. I'm guessing the hand slap is a signal to start rolling like the movies and TV, or relieving stress to get you started on the next take after messing something up on the 1st take. LOL. C4B0!!!

A boy's dream fast forwarded a few years before, because we had the opportunity to sell our 5th wheel at a decent price. Living full time is also a practical way of seeing things differently. It tends to stay in one piece longer 🤣
As of now, ATC is a great option for their construction. Not for everyone, I'll agree. But takes care of the frame issues 😁. First contender in the "non-customized", Alliance is the runner up IMHO. Let me be clear, not because of quality of manufacturing. Because they take care of their owners 😉 after purchase.
In TV and movie production they have that handheld device. They snap shut when they star filming. What did Pierre do before your inspection business? Lastly, very disappointed with Newmar quality control. They’ve gone from the best to average. Sad.
We used to manufacture log loader/trailers, fire suppressant trailers, and the most recent endeavor was a trucking company with all it intales. From re-doing engines, trannies, brakes, body work, welding, etc. Typical kid from up north...
Nowadays, everything we buy is poor quality it doesn't last very long. They make everything so disposable now. I think tissue and toilet paper last long and are made better. Hopefully, manufacturers will start paying attention to the consumer's of their products and start doing better. 🙏🏻
Your horizontal hand clap is a visual stimuli reminder to all those who are contemplating an RV purchase to snap out of their slumber and pay close attention. The RV manufacturer rep, the dealer salesman, and the Service Manager aren't your besties, and couldn't care less. Open your eyelids, pull the wax out ouf your ear canal, and tighten up the Depends crap sack. Amigos, the quality is never going to meet your expectations when RVs are held up using slapped together rusty nails, and cardboard staples. Wise up and seek out a conscientious inspector

All over the US. Canada was only for chip and bark from New England to Sherbrooke QC and some NB back to NH...for a couple of years in the 2007 recession. Otherwise all over the states with oversize cargo. Laurel was my dispatch 😉. Where did you work ?

Hey, guys. I enjoy your videos a lot but the pushy self promotion is off putting. As is the little clap when the camera goes to you, Pierre. It’s distracting and a waste of time. Here’s the thing. Your obvious expertise in showing us and explaining the problems stands alone and represents you beautifully. You know your stuff. The severity of some of the problems you find speaks loud and clear to the need for an inspection and by showing us how you work we learn what an inspection entails. You don’t need to emphatically push at that. It kind of gets on our nerves. Once you hammer in the need for an inspection a couple of times it’s like OK, OK, we got it. Like, months ago. Maybe be a little less aggressive with that issue, Pierre? You’re teaching all of us already. We all quickly learn that if a person has half a brain an inspector needs to be hired before ANY RV purchase. We’ve seen what can happen to some poor schmuck. Don’t rub it in. Kind of smooth it out, be gentler in your presentation. You’re doing great teaching us the myriad stuff that can be wrong even in brand new RVs and I’m very grateful. I didn’t know about inspectors and am glad I now do. I’m in Texas but I’ll be hunting Blue Ox down FIRST when I get my first RV this Spring. Yup, before I sign the papers! You’ve carved your own niche in this inspection world. Keep on keeping on!

I had some friends purchase a brand new 2022 Tiffin and it was in and out of the shop from day 1 ..... .9 months out of the first 12 months of ownership. Look at the auto industry no better. Look at the boat industry. Look at the motorcycle industry. You purchase a new bike and then spend thousands more for upgrades! Quality is gone it's all about the bling! The glory days are over now we live in a throw away society.

100% right! Although we hate making the dreaded call, we know we've just saved them $$$ thousands and a lot of heartache.

Not sure where we will be purchasing from either, we're in Texas but if there is a better deal somewhere else we have no problem traveling to get it. I'm guessing the hand slap is a signal to start rolling like the movies and TV, or relieving stress to get you started on the next take after messing something up on the 1st take. LOL. C4B0!!!

A boy's dream fast forwarded a few years before, because we had the opportunity to sell our 5th wheel at a decent price.
Living full time is also a practical way of seeing things differently. It tends to stay in one piece longer 🤣

Do you have a 5th wheel you feel is worth purchasing?; I've seen many TH-cam videos about frame flex.
As of now, ATC is a great option for their construction. Not for everyone, I'll agree. But takes care of the frame issues 😁.
First contender in the "non-customized", Alliance is the runner up IMHO. Let me be clear, not because of quality of manufacturing. Because they take care of their owners 😉 after purchase.
In TV and movie production they have that handheld device. They snap shut when they star filming. What did Pierre do before your inspection business? Lastly, very disappointed with Newmar quality control. They’ve gone from the best to average. Sad.

We used to manufacture log loader/trailers, fire suppressant trailers, and the most recent endeavor was a trucking company with all it intales. From re-doing engines, trannies, brakes, body work, welding, etc.

Nowadays, everything we buy is poor quality it doesn't last very long. They make everything so disposable now. I think tissue and toilet paper last long and are made better.
Hopefully, manufacturers will start paying attention to the consumer's of their products and start doing better. 🙏🏻

Your horizontal hand clap is a visual stimuli reminder to all those who are contemplating an RV purchase to snap out of their slumber and pay close attention. The RV manufacturer rep, the dealer salesman, and the Service Manager aren't your besties, and couldn't care less. Open your eyelids, pull the wax out ouf your ear canal, and tighten up the Depends crap sack. Amigos, the quality is never going to meet your expectations when RVs are held up using slapped together rusty nails, and cardboard staples. Wise up and seek out a conscientious inspector

Because I worked at a truckstop back then to put myself through college, and we may have met .
All over the US.
Canada was only for chip and bark from New England to Sherbrooke QC and some NB back to NH...for a couple of years in the 2007 recession.
Otherwise all over the states with oversize cargo. Laurel was my dispatch 😉.

Hey, guys. I enjoy your videos a lot but the pushy self promotion is off putting. As is the little clap when the camera goes to you, Pierre. It’s distracting and a waste of time. Here’s the thing. Your obvious expertise in showing us and explaining the problems stands alone and represents you beautifully. You know your stuff. The severity of some of the problems you find speaks loud and clear to the need for an inspection and by showing us how you work we learn what an inspection entails. You don’t need to emphatically push at that. It kind of gets on our nerves. Once you hammer in the need for an inspection a couple of times it’s like OK, OK, we got it. Like, months ago. Maybe be a little less aggressive with that issue, Pierre? You’re teaching all of us already. We all quickly learn that if a person has half a brain an inspector needs to be hired before ANY RV purchase. We’ve seen what can happen to some poor schmuck. Don’t rub it in. Kind of smooth it out, be gentler in your presentation. You’re doing great teaching us the myriad stuff that can be wrong even in brand new RVs and I’m very grateful. I didn’t know about inspectors and am glad I now do. I’m in Texas but I’ll be hunting Blue Ox down FIRST when I get my first RV this Spring. Yup, before I sign the papers! You’ve carved your own niche in this inspection world. Keep on keeping on!

It just seems like there is no quality control anymore. I had some friends purchase a brand new 2022 Tiffin and it was in and out of the shop from day 1 ..... .9 months out of the first 12 months of ownership.
Look at the auto industry no better.
Look at the boat industry.
Look at the motorcycle industry. You purchase a new bike and then spend thousands more for upgrades!
Quality is gone it's all about the bling!
