    Love the coach! Do the front chairs swivel to become part of the living space? That would increase the “ space for entertaining” score.
    We removed (and sold!) our dinette and was amazed how much room it gave us! Definitely an option.
    Love the office space. Pretty smart and I’m sure there are some accessories that would make set up and tear down a breeze. Looking forward to your test drive 😊

      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes the space isn't quite wide enough for Opies Crate unfortunately. So we;d probably remove the dinette put a table and chairs one side and dog crates the other. There is a lot of room there.

    Definitely drive one of these Ford F53’s. Our Forest River Georgetown was a rough ride even though we added a steering stabilizer, trac bar, and improved shocks. A 3-5 hour drive wore me out. That’s why we switched to an Alliance 5th wheel with MORryde IS/Disk brakes, GEN-Y hitch and RAM 3500 dually to get a better ride. Also the front engine is loud and hot and will need a heat and sound barrier installed in front. The engine AC doesn’t work too well:

    If I remember correctly Matt said that the shower has no room to bend over and pick up anything that falls on the floor while showering. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
    Although the bedroom/office is great for night/day use, I personally would consider it a pain to take down and set up multiple monitors every time I needed to switch over. Plus is the table top wide enough so that you don't accidentally push your monitors off.
    Otherwise, I LOVE the space for both the living room and the kitchen. Lots of counter space and a separate coffee bar.

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That makes sense ! Laurence pretty much only uses a laptop these days. Only needs the monitor for editing days. So shouldn’t be to much hassle

    I love our Winnebago Class A, 35ft. We have a DP, but I think the Gas Version is good also. It is so easy to setup and teardown. We tow a jeep, wish we had though about getting a truck, it would have been so much better as you can always carry extra stuff in the bed! Good luck with your decission on what to get.

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      thanks guys! Yeah Laurence would have to (reluctantly) sell his 250 and downgrade so we can flat tow but that means we could bring the kayaks and other things if we had a pickup.

    I just had a thought! How about a toy hauler, but make the toy area your office? You would have a lovely patio right next to your work area, which could give you epic views while you work! If you can get one with a door from the living space, it would minimize distractions.
    I think the model in the video has a “work area” but you have no back support on that bench and it seems like it would be tight, space wise, on the table.

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes we’ve been looking at Toy Haulers. The class C Thor outlaw is a great layout but the bed wouldn’t work and we don’t want to go too big. So we’re looking for a unicorn 😂 Laurence would probably swap out a bench for an office chair and he pretty much uses a laptop these days

    • @kathyzehner9660
      @kathyzehner9660 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I was keeping my eyes peeled at the Hershey show to see if you had found your unicorn! I’m still enjoying your rig search and ratings you use. Keep them coming! I want you to find the best one for you, but I’m enjoying the search.

    If you haven't figured it out yet, Natalie, there is a switch on Class A's & C's to keep the steps out all the time while you are in camp, so you aren't waiting a for them to deploy all the time. (Also a safety thing for when you need to get out in a hurry at the campground). But then they switch back into the in/out mode to stay retracted and deploy only when you open the door.
    And is there enough room for the dog crate tucked up under the dining table? Just a thought.

      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I like this one alot although setting up the office will annoy you. Also when the bed is up you have great changing space.. also can the bed stay up during travel days… can opies crate go under bed??

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The problem is the back of the rig tends to be more noisey and bumpy se we'd want him up front. We could also look at just getting him a harness and seatbelt for travel days but I would be nervous about his scratching the sofa. Setting up office not a problem Laurence literally has to flip bed up and plug in a monitor. The PC would stay under the bed and his monitors are all portable now anyway.

  • @snowbirdlady7221
    @snowbirdlady7221 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Does the bed rest on those benches or does it have its own support frame? If it does, you could just remove the bench with the shoe rack (sorry Nat) and use an office chair there. This is not exactly the RV I saw with the drop down desk, but I do think that one was a toy hauler.

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thats a great point. I think the bed does rest on them, but it perhaps would not need both. Also although it doesn't seem like it on video there is actually plenty of space for an office chair at the end of the bed. So once bed is up he can just roll a chair up.

    That's not a 9 office. You need a chair - where does that live? You can't leave your monitor(s) setup so you have to set them up/take them down every day. That's like a 5. It exists (which is rare) but you wouldn't want to Work work at it.
    I still recommend a mid-bunk 5th wheel (Cougar and Rockwell make a 29mbs). They also have a true 10 TV position.

    • @BrazenBrits
      @BrazenBrits  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Nice…but Class A’s are expensive, repair cost monstrous and long maintenance waiting times too, generally. Plus you have a motor vehicle pulling a motor vehicle if you want the ability to detach and go. A 5th wheel is the way to go, your truck can pull most all of those with no problem. I think you’ll get the same quality and cool features with a 5th wheel. Just saying 🤷
