Good going on "gravy-grade-a-lating" ; easy does it. The same for stump removal ( getting off the tractor & assessing-helping the procedure). Good to know that,"you know" your tractors limits.
Where as most New " TWACK-TER home-lowner drivers " just HAMMER there rigs & "show off" before the first pament is made ( lots of vidios out there). These "B" series ( although capable) have delicate ALUMINUM light-weight transmissions & frame memberment construction . Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

Glad you liked it. Yes, need to be careful with these small tractors. Can do many jobs but they are not a Skid Steer.

to take the stump out, chock up a chain nice and short and attach to the 3pt arms at the lowest level. You'd be surprised just what you can rip out.

I usually push the whole tree over before cutting it off. You can get really good leverage with the loader up higher and putting the weight of the tractor on it

The driveway is looking good. Did you do all the grading (removing the grass/top soil, etc) prep for the gravel with the B2601 ? Thanks, Steffon

Thanks for the tractor tips. We bought an 8 n really cheap no loader. I think when it comes to the homested the tractor is very cost effective for rear attachments. When it comes to front end work I'm saving my pocket change for a bobcat.

Agree. Tractors are great and their loaders have some limits. A Skid Steer would be so fun. Good Luck!

Thanks for the video. Good use of the back blade. I’m trying to decide on a back blade or a box blade. Any thoughts? Also, please tell where you got your bucket level indicator. I have been looking for one since I took delivery of my B2601.

Blade vs Box is a great debate. If you are going to move any snow, the blade works a lot better. Box works better for driveway grading and fixing but the blade will work too its just more difficult to fine tune things. If you need to do any erosion control like crowning or pitching of a driveway, the blade is the way to go. Can't tilt the box blade much. Limited to what your three points can do. A box can push in reverse and will dig with the tines. Can't do that with blade. Both have there pros and cons. Hope that helps. Bucket level indicator has to be purchased from dealer and there isn't a kit. You have to buy the parts individually and make a minor hole location mod. I have a video on this and there are some on TH-cam too. I think its actually the one that comes on the L tractors. Works great and the only way to go. Super helpful to have.

Where did you get the bucket level indicator for the B2601? I've not been able to find one.

You need to buy the parts separately. I have an Accessory video in the play list that shows what you need to get.

Getting back to your twisting the loader... I see you were using one corner of your bucket big no-no far as twisting your loader... You did you center of bucket to push on the stump. But used one side to try digging out. that'll tweak the loader .. otherwise great job 👍
