Hey good evening Laurie! Thanks! I am really glad I spent so much time comparing and doing diligence before I bought. I sometimes get too detailed on things but glad I did in this case. Cheers and have a great week!
Laurie Harding I can't imagine Kubota, or one of their large dealers, aren't supporting this channel with all the multiple types of NEW machinery on display and...... if they're not.... this guys nuts 😂 because he's their best advert on the net. One thing tho amongst all the amazing uses for these machines so well presented - up the height of your flail mower attachment. When you see fine earth come out with the organic mulch.... you're doing the implement no favours ✅ just a suggestion
@@johnphelan6623 kubota accully supports vetrans and military wich kubota been supporting them alot wich john deere and new holland doesnt wich disapointing and kubota donates alot of vetrans that are farmers kubota tractors
I’m sold! You video is far and away the most honest and direct tutorial on TH-cam. We’re in the market for a compact tractor. The flail mower attachment would be a great asset too!
Good day and thanks very much for the kind comment. I am happy if it helped a little. I loved that little workhorse but most recently traded it in for am LX 2610 with a cab (the cold is starting to get to my old bones. :)) Good luck with your tractor decision and all the best!
Working on level terrain is a joy. I've owned M6800, L4500, and L2501. Most important part of owning is learning the stability limits of your machine pulling, lifting, and carrying loads, particularly on slopes. Smaller tractors are MUCH more prone to tipping. Loader bucket is a must-have but pallet forks all most as useful.
You showed just about everything that I need a tractor for and that this little thing can get the job done. Thank you for showing it in different uses!
Hey good evening Tony. I am happy it was helpful. The sub compact and compact tractors are certainly pretty remarkable little workhorses and help those of us with small to medium sized properties. I love this tractor and to date, still have not found any issues with it, but have accomplished a whole lot more than I used to. Not to mention, it is pretty gratifying not having to pay someone else to look after things anymore. And to be honest, it is still, after a year and a half, a lot of fun. LOL. Thanks for tuning in. Cheers and all the best!
GP, You were not kidding about how complicated the process is for a first time buyer. I started convinced w/ the B2650 then started seeing comparisons w/ LS, Kioti and Mahindra...all of the outperforming the Kubota one way or another. Heavier, cheaper, more loading capacity, more hp, etc., etc. So I went back and forth several times w/ my indecisiveness. But every time I went back to this video, saw again and again what the B2650 was capable of doing which was perfect for my needs. Price difference wasn't that significant to make me go to the other brands so finally pulled the plug and purchased one....still hesitant because everybody says that get as much hp as you can afford:) I want to thank you for the great reviews, I think you saved me some $$ in the long run...if it doesn't work, they resale value is a lot better to go higher:)
Good morning Jose. Congratulations on the new tractor! Yes, it is a tough one and I was very unsure after I purchased this B as well. Turned out great for me and my small property as you know. Good luck and after you get it, let me know how it is going for you. Cheers and all the best!
This may be an older video but I just stumbled across it while researching a tractor purchase. I fell into the bigger is better trap but after watching this video I’m re considering. I’m on a 10acre property with about 1/2 being forest and other being field and house. Your video just nailed what my needs are. As a long time subscriber I can’t believe I missed or likely just forgot about this episode. Thanks for opening my eyes up to a more affordable and likely more suitable option.
You’re 100% correct on the buying thought process for those new to owning a tractor. It is tough to filter the process down to the size and options that really matter for each of us in our own situation. Enjoyed your letting your tasks speak for themselves in the video, thanks.
Just ordered a b2601. These videos helped guage the capability of this model. Was very helpful. Looking forward to getting our in a few weeks and learning to operate it.
Congratulations Adam! I am happy they helped a little. So many choices nowadays and so many specs to compare. Let me know how it is going from time to time! Cheers!
Hi I bought a Kubota b1620 21months ago and what you do with yours is tame to what mine does. It's a brilliant little machine, I've dug ditches, ponds, made a hedge, carried furniture moved chicken sheds on back forks towed a trailer with 1460kg of straw and hay on it through 1foot deep mud no problems.plus normal stuff.and it's got no backhoe as they not available in the UK for Kubota. Good videos by the way.
so far we love the Kubota 3901L we got the package deal pull up hook trailer and roll..and now that we have it out here on our property we need more attachments ..like a rake ,,wood chipper for sure, we are heating with wood and i dont like the brush laying around..and the trailer that the Morgans got from RK with the dump thats on my list as well ,,love the videos, your doing a great job,,,i get exited about the projects around here now that need done and new tractor that starts every time you need it make you smile..
Mike, that sounds great. I know what you mean. I did so little with this property for so many years and now I got a list, and i look forward to seeing real change and improvements. The best feeling though, is that you are doing it yourself. And on your own schedule. Man there is an attachment for anything you ever want to do. Cheers and thanks for the kind words and support!
Did you mention the having fun and enjoying the day attachment? After a full and productive day, That tends to be my favorite. Great video BYW. Thanks.
From Australia, love your vids, I have a BX23S on 5 acres of bushland and find it fantastic for mowing tight spaces but just a little small and underpowered for everything else especially the undersized 4 in 1 FEL which carries only a full wheelbarrow load of soil, the compact seems more capable without being too big.
I am a John Deere owner and am very happy as well. Just wanted to say, good video. Nicely put together and you speak well on camera. Good continued luck with your machine.
Good morning SCB! Thanks for the positive comments and kind words. The Deere's are really nice machines as well. It was a tough choice for me between the two. Thanks for watching and all the best to you as well!
Very good Video thank you!! Just purchased a B2601 a few weeks ago waiting on delivery. Was happy with what I picked but now you have me excited this video showed everything I'm wanting to do with mine. But I also got belly mower with it.
Why can't I put more than one thumbs up lol Wow that was the greatest display of any and all attachments in the day & night at that. I learned more about implements in this one video. I wish I could afford the size that suits me and all of the attachments available and a metal building to store all the attachments ever made.
Thanks for another great video Gord. I know what you mean about being overwhelmed at the dealer. So much to chose from. You can't go wrong with Kubota, love their products.
Really enjoy the channel. Just got a b2601 myself. Actually being delivered today! Was looking into them when I found your channel. Glad we made the switch and look forward to the Kubota!
I picked up a used B3000 with cab, snow blower, rotary cutter, belly mower, rototiller, box scraper, trailer hitch lift, and loader and wonder what I ever did without it. It’s a really useful, fantastic machine. I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Hey that's great Joe! Sounds like you are ready for a lot of chores and projects around your place. I agree. Wish I had picked this up a long time ago. Thanks very much for the comments and for watching. Have a great weekend!
I sold my older and larger ford tractor and replaced it with this model. After 6 years or so I still am happy with it. I use the loader a lot and pull both a bush hog mower and a finish mower as well as a grading blade for the driveway. Great video!
Good evening sir....That was an awesome video highlighting the versatility of not only the 2601 but compact tractors of all types. So often, they are overlooked as ineffective. Your compilation should convince those doubters otherwise. Needless to say, I was sure surprised at the ten minute spot when you so unexpectedly spoke so highly of me. Thank you so much for the shout out because as a direct result of your comment, more than 100 people subscribed to my channel today ! Thank you for the binge-watch. I thought I was the only guy that did that !! lol. On a lighter note, just HOW do you stay so clean..? It must be a Canadian thing. lol. By ten a.m. I'm usually already looking like a bum. Thank you again sir.
LOL! Good morning T44! My secret is that my wife is sweet enough to wash my overalls a lot. LOL. You are most welcome but it's well deserved - I really enjoy the projects and of course, the stories that go along with them. Between you , Joe and my neighbour Guy, I get to watch and learn a lot. Unfortunately don't have a lot of the experience or skills to do many of the things you folks do but I really enjoy watching the projects you folks take on. And very lucky that Guy has always been kind enough to teach me many things in the workshop and working around on the property. All good and looking forward to your next one! Cheers T44!
Good morning Damien. Thanks for watching and for the comment this morning. Sure feels good get things done on my own now and not having to pay others anymore. Cheers and thanks again!
I just purchased a BX2601 with loder to replace my 1979 L185. It gets delivered next week. Im stoked the L185 was a beast. Its actually going to the dealership to get restored and put on display.
Very good video. You not only provided great content, but you did so in a drama free manner that is very pleasant to watch. That's nice change of pace from most UT videos. Thanks!
Can’t really recall how I ended up here, but I am enjoying your channel! BTW, thanks for the Tractorman44 tip, you are right, he has a real nice style and way of seeing things, but so do you. Cheers from Eastern Ontario.
He good morning Stu! Thanks very much - very kind of you to say. Happy you are enjoying the channel. Yes, really enjoy Tractorman's videos. Always enjoyable and love the stories behind the tools and things. Plus he has some really old stuff in there that still works! Nice to have another viewer from Ontario! Thanks again for watching and for the comments and all the best to you!
So many people around satisfied with a B2601!!! It's indeed a great machine. It has most of the capabilities of the larger series and yet the agility of a compact one. I am glad you enjoyed Tractorman's channel. I hope I can get more time to watch more video between a few flights and welding projects! Thanks!
Good morning Joe! Yes, really enjoy his channel. Very engaging and like yours, I like watching the projects build from an idea through to completion. Looking forward to your next one! Hope you are not travelling too much. Have a great week! Cheers Joe!
Thanks Barbara! I am happy you enjoyed it. I am very happy with this little tractor - very surprised at how much it can do for me here. Good luck - lots of tractors to research when you are looking to purchase. All the best!
Hey Gord, just had to watch this one again. Now if I can just convince my wife how much I really need this tractor 🤞🤞😩. Thanks for sharing with us again. Fred.
I have been on the fence between the B2601HSD, L 2501 and the kioti CK2610. The ck was eliminated when I tested the loader it’s extremely hard to do 2 functions with it at the same time. I finally got a good price on a B2601HSD now if the dealership can find one I will be happy. They have sold 5 so far this month. Your videos have been a big help and kept me from buying a tractor that is to large. Thanks and have a good one 👍🏻
Hi GP, I decided to watch this as I hadn't seen it before. Great video of all the things you do with your B2601. I own a Kubota B7200 with a geared transmission. When it cam tom to replace my Ford 4000 Loader Tractor, I wanted a machine with a hydrostatic transmission. There was one huge reason why I didn't even look at a new Kubota. It was the rocker pedal for forward and reverse. I tried my brothers BX24, and I had a bit of difficulty every time i wanted to go into reverse. I ended up with a Rural King RK37 hydrostatic with a cab, and I love it. Smaller than the Ford and easier to transport. No more trying to keep my hands and feet warm while plowing snow! But I still have my Kubota B7200!
Good day Tom! That's great! especially having the cab to keep you safe and warm from the elements. I am glad you are enjoying the RK. They look like nice tractors and well equipped. Yes, the rocker pedal is often a big consideration for folks, for sure. Thanks for the comment today. Keep warm and have fun out there. Remember me out here all freezing cold, when you are toasty warm in the cab. LOL. Cheers and all the best!
I have a B2301 that is perfect for my property in Southern Vermont and what I need to do. I've had it for 2+ years and I don't know how I got along without it for all these years. It becomes more useful everyday.
Hey thank for sharing Doug. Me too. I look back and realize how little I was able to accomplish without the tractor, and how much money I paid out to other companies to do work and now wish I had the smarts to get it a long time ago. Great to hear it is working out great for you. Cheers and thanks for watching!
A+ I have a B2920 and it's a toy compared to my Case backhoe' but it does so many things I could not even think about with the Case... Very kool video ///
Well done, Gord. I actually laffed at the snowblower action. I can't tell you how nice it is to stay warm and dry inside my cab when that powder snow is gettin' blown back at ya. Cheers back on ya.
LOL! Heyyyy Ron. You're making me envious. LOL. Yes nothing like coming back to the house looking like Frosty the Snowman. All the best! Glad you have the cab!
I have a B2620 which I bought mainly for a lawn mower. As a lawn mower it is fine but nothing spectacular but that kind of a task is not what you buy a compact tractor for. I also have some other property that has to be brush hogged and I have had to do some loader work. These are the situations where the tractor comes into its own, the thing never stops amazing we with its capabilities. For its size it is a beast. I would say do not underestimate a compact tractor. Obviously there are times when you need a bigger tractor but for smaller parcels of land they are ideal. A bigger tractor on a smaller piece of land sometimes could be just to big to maneuver.
Good morning Phil! Thanks for sharing and for watching. I agree with you. This B is a great size for my smaller property and for my needs so far. And I have experienced the same as you. Surprises me still to this day, how much power it has. Cheers and all the best!
Hi GP, I've followed your channel pretty much from the beginning. Your upgrade to the LX2610 came with lots of comments about transmission whine. So I decided to watch this episode again. The difference in whine between the models is significant. With the B2601, the sound of the engine was always dominant, with a slight whine in the background... that's in every segment you shot. I'm ready to finally get my new tractor. The choice between these two models has been most difficult. I am giving the B2601 a second look. Wish I could get the deluxe seat on that model. I love your channel and your unbiased reviews. Keep up the great work!
Just bought an L2501 for my 31 acre property. So far it’s been great at everything I’ve asked of it, from box blading my road, rotary cutter for the pastures and front end loader for moving dirt. Summer in TN makes me wish I had a cabbed tractor, but it’s only really hot for two or three months of the year. Just wasn’t worth the added expense for me.
Congrats on the new L. Happy to hear your feedback Nunya. It sure makes a big difference having the tractor I am sure. Have a great week out there! And stay cool!
I showed up with coffee in hand! I have to admit, the effectiveness of that size tractor w/ a grapple is surprising. I feel like that's a good size for a lot of small land owners. Considering one.
Good morning Mitch. I think the videos go down better with a good cup of your favourite. It's my first tractor as you know and it still surprises me how much it can do. And I agree. If I had a bigger property I would have looked to the L series but for my 4 acres, I think this worked out just fine. Does pretty much everything I have needed it to, with few exceptions. Cheers and all the best!
Great points made each tractor is made to fill its nitch. Looking at what you're doing you had a good salesman who directed you to the right tractor. Anything bigger you would have had trouble going in among the trees.
Hey good morning Neil! Yes I have a great dealer and he was right on the mark. He even delivered it personally to see my property first hand and walk around to make sure it was the right machine for me and he was right. Thanks and all the best Neil!
My brother bought a new 2019 Kioti 26hp tractor and I was impressed with how capable it is. It seems to have the right amount of power to do everything, and it surprised me that he only paid something like $32K Canadian for it. We also have a Bobcat B300 backhoe, with a 46hp kubota motor on our property/cottage. It almost seems too big for most projects, but my father in law loves it too much to downsize lol. I'm considering financing a Kioti tractor as well....
Good morning and thanks for watching and for the comment. Yes, I am still pretty surprised at the amount of work these smaller tractors are capable of. LOL. I'd keep the backhoe - must be fun to have it when needed and will always come in handy. Have a Happy New Years and all the best!
I have a L3200 gear drive for food plots and trails. And I'm having a B2301 loader tractor delivered next week for upcoming projects. I enjoy your videos!
Congrats on the new tractor Cleon! That's great. Thanks for the kind comments - I am happy you like them. Enjoy the new tractor and have a great weekend!
Nice demonstration of the capability of the tractor! Ive been watching for a while first time comment great channel and nice place enjoy watching keep the videos coming
You get some really good use out of that grapple! Thanks for the great video. I'm considering the 2301 & 2601 myself. For the $1,000 difference it's probably worth going with the 26 even though I don't have any immediate needs for PTO power. Just loader work.
Good morning Cap'n! Yes that grapple is my favourite attachment. I can use it for so many different things around the property. If I could offer, I would agree with you if the budget allows it, to get the 26. I understand we will have our tractors for 15 -20 years or longer so I think having that extra power and PTO may serve you well later on. When I was doing my research that led to buying the tractor, I had made a list of things I thought I would need the tractor for and honestly, since getting the tractor, I have realized a lot of other things I do now that I never even considered I would do before I bought it. Good luck and let me know how it turns out! Cheers!
Your videos are excellent! I also live in Ontario. You helped me on my decision on buying my Kubota b2650. Ive now started to post a couple videos of my own. Thanks GP
Love your videos, and it looks like you're getting good use out of your tractor investment. I just purchased a Kubota BX2380 earlier this year with a front mounted snow blower and a mid-mount mowing deck. The dealer was surprised at my choices (specifically the snow blower) until I told him I lived on a sixth of a city block and just wanted something that fit my frame (I'm a big guy) that I could mow with in the summer and move snow with in the winter...and hopefully be able to grow with me if I ever am able to get the property I want. What I ended up with is probably too much machine for what I have now, and not enough for where I'm going later...but I do love it! Never had this much fun doing chores before. I guess that in itself made it worth the investment. The wife just shook her head (that must be a thing with wives)...but quit giving me so much grief when a neighbor about five blocks down got one too!! Keep up the good work on your channel!
Good evening Michael. That's a great story. Loved reading it. So funny. But congrats on the BX. It sure does make doing work a lot more fun. Plus you are going to find a dozen other uses for it that you never even thought of when you bought it. She will be super happy when some of those new projects are for her. And there will be. :)) All the best and be safe!
Excellent video Gord! Like I've always said; "Don't tell me about Show Me!". Not everyone needs a large tractor. Like you've said before, get a tractor that fits your needs. Of course, once you bought a tractor there will be jobs that you wish you had on bigger one. But at least you still have a very capable tractor if you do your homework and don't over buy. If money was of no concern ttjen buy on of each.... but until then shop reasonably. Great job! Thanks again. You're friend from the Great Lakes, Nate
Hey good day Nate! Yes, as big as you need but as you say, if you have the $$, then go big. In my case as you know, I wanted something with a small footprint for the forest. Guy and I joke here and there cause he has lots more power with the L but he can't get in where I can sometimes, so I always joke with him that the power doesn't help if you can't squeeze in to use it. LOL. Cheers my friend!
another informative video, I live on 5 acres with a nice mix of woods, yard and a small pond. I purchased a Kubota BX 23S with a 60" mowing deck and brush hog. It comes with an integrated backhoe. So far it does everything I've tackled and is maneuverable enough to get my chores done. Your suggestions are spot on. I did find the limit for my FEL when I loaded a 660 lb wood stove on my pallet forks and transported it to my front door. it got it done but would not lift it another inch. lol. Have a great day. We are supposed to get our first snow of the new year this weekend here in Ohio, Cheers.
Nice Roy! I'll bet you can't wait to get out and clear that snow. LOL! I sometimes i wish I got the BH for it but perhaps in the future. It sure would come in handy many times. Thanks and have fun when the snow comes!! Dress warm and enjoy it!
Great video! I did have some questions about what I would be able to do with a compact tractor but after watching your video, I'm sure a compact will work for me. Thank you!
Awesome video. I've watched a bunch of videos on compact and sub-compact tractors, and most of them just have a guy walking around and talking about knobs and levers. I want to see the tractor in action. It really gives me a much better sense of its capabilities. Not sure I'll be able to afford a Kubota, but maybe a Kioti or New Holland with similar specs.
Good day Brian! No, I haven't ever tried the BH for this unit - I didn't buy it. But Mech Uno has a channel and he uses his BH on his B2601 regularly. Thanks for watching and all the best!
Watching you over the last 2 yrs with this model has convinced me to get a cab model and a larger model with more hp... for my N Idaho place.. we get as much if not more snow and similar temps.. So thank you Gord for doing all these vids
Good day HVH. That's great - I am happy they helped a little. Good luck with the new tractor buy, and let me know how it goes from time to time. Cheers!
Wish I could post pictures here, but my B2601 will lift 275 gallon IBC totes filled to the last horizontal support (8 inches from the top) with green beech wood 4 feet off the ground. That's 25.6 cubic feet of wood (1/5 of a cord). That's 1,382.4 pounds of wood. A B2650 could probably lift a full tote but I like keeping my lawn intact when driving over it. I needed a light tractor to handle firewood without tearing up the turf and the B2601 fit the bill perfectly. If it does the job you need it to then it's the perfect machine for you.
Update on this: I ordered the pressure test and shim kit from bxpanded and found out my b2601 was at the low end of the recommended pressure (about 1890). One .3mm shim later and we're at 2000 psi. Now my b2601 will lift full 275 gallon IBC totes 3 feet high. Loving it!
Wow Dave. I guess you would need to put a lot of weight for ballast on the back. I haven't confirmed this myself but someone had mentioned that the front axle has a maximum weight rating of around 1300 lbs. I haven't talked to the dealer about that yet but the load curves in the manual seem to show that the tractor lifts more than that. So not sure that makes sense. Anyways glad it is working out for you. Still 100% happy with mine too! Cheers!
Good day LA! Pretty surprising. I don't have a BH as you know but just really impressed by what you can do with your BH too. Pretty impressive capability. Cheers!
Nicely done, GP! Great montage of what you can do with a compact tractor! Also good advice at the end. Glad you are fan of Tractorman44. He’s one of my favorites as well. Cheers!
Good morning and thanks DIY! Between you and Tractorman44, I have lots more to watch on top of my regular channels. I am going to have to get my wife to start watching or I'm going to end up on the couch! LOL. Cheers!
Here's something else to consider, I have an M6800 on the farm but it's to big to work in the wooded areas and it's more difficult to trailer. I want this B2601 with the grapple bucket to clean the woods plus with a mid mower I can use it at my house. I think this will be a perfect fit, thanks for the review. If you're not on the Kubota payroll you should be.
I completely agree with your assessments. Having too big a machine is as problematic as too small of a machine. Big machines may not fit into an area you want to work in, or may just sink in. I decided that I wanted something that fills all of what I do regularly and most of what I forecast doing in the future. For the very rare jobs that require serious power I hire out. The other big consideration is how long will parts be available. I had another machine that was almost the same capability set as my B2601, and was wonderful, but they stopped making parts for it not even 10 years after they stopped production of the machine. After that experience I would only buy one of the big brand machines. You covered all of what I have done with the exception of the wing plow. The B2601 will pull a 14” wide single bottom plow through heavy soils at about 12” depth.
Good day TGC! Wow. That has to be a lot of power to pull that plow. It still surprises me what this thing can do. Good point about buying a brand. I think that is pretty important as folks have told me this tractor will last me 20 years if I look after it. Thanks for the comments as always and have yourself a great week out there! Cheers!
My other tractor was a 1994, and still looked brand new. I was very cautious with it after discovering that parts were becoming very scarce. I decided that if I was too afraid of breaking it to use it, it had to go. Interestingly I liked somethings about the other machine more than the Kubota. It was nearly silent, at rated RPM you could have a normal volume conversation next to it. I also loved that it had a throttle pedal, though it was not hydrostatic. It had all of the same conveniences of the modern CUTs nearly 30 years ago. I am sure your Kubota will last longer than 20 years. A quick look through craigslist and you will find Kubota B6000s or B7000s from the 60s still churning out chores. Kubota owns their own foundry so I am confident that the current line will follow suit.
Hey thanks TGC. Pretty impressive about the old machine. Sounds like they were ahead of their time. Thanks for sharing the info. It's nice to hear about other folk's machines. Cheers!
Good morning Dave! Thanks for the question - I don't, actually. but the rear blade you are referring to is the Landpride RB1672. It is a good, simple rear blade. It both angles and also pivots so you can angle the blade sideways or adjust it down to grade .However, the moldboard can be moved a foot either to the left or right but it is a manual adjustment - you need to remove carriage bolts and slide the moldboard sideways. If you think you will need to swing the blade out to the sides regularly then I would offer that you may wish to look at other models that swing easily with the removal of a pin. This is a good blade for my needs as I don't have to swing it to the sides very often. Hope that helps. Take care!
Thank you Gordy for this video. I have a bx24 because I thought I needed the backhoe. It was useful but I feel like I’d like a heavier machine but still be manageable around the yard. Looks like yours is great. Thank you, cheers
Good morning Tom! Thanks - so far it's been a good fit. Sometimes I wish I had got the BH for it but as you have seen, I really haven't had a great need for it too often. The BX is a great machine as well. I really needed the ground clearance especially for the forest which helped shape the decision. Cheers and have a great week!
I appreciate your feedback GP! The ground clearance IS A BIG DEAL. I need to have a cheap plastic fan part replaced that broke to cool the hydro unit. Without the mower Which I don’t have) the unit is exposed to the wood brush. Super bad design Kubota. BXExpanded is a company that has lots of neat things for Kubota and other small tractors and one of the products is a simple shield for the protection of the underside. It’s important because that cheap ($35.00 part) for my bx comes with a $300.00 labor charge. As far as the BH goes.....I get tired of always repositioning, especially if you need to get below the frost line (Minnesota). I would think about getting a unit like yours and a small backhoe. My neighbor bought the smallest bobcat (15 hp diesel) and I’m really surprised at what he can do with that thing.....and it purrs like a kitten, so quiet. Costs a few bucks but really not much more than a new option for the tractors and so much more useful plus it grades a little bit. Of course more maintenance is required, but your retired right?Well that’s enough for right now I have to get some work done so I can go see the Wild beat the Jets tonight!😎
Wow. expensive. I see what you mean. I never really looked into the price of small backhoe. I might. I contacted BXEpanded a while back but the shipping and duties to get them over the border was just too much. I hear they may have found a Canadian distributor now so may look again. They seem to have some really good stuff. Have fun at the game!!
Love the videos'. Just when I think I've seen them all, I find another oldie but goodie. Also, you always remind me that I need to grab another cup of Joe!
Thanks for the video. Pricing of Kubota tractors in Australia pushes one towards an L series tractor. They start at around $23k. That would be for a basic one without a front end loader. $31k will get you a L3800 with a 4 in 1 loader. Meanwhile BXs start at around $17K without a loader and go up to around $33k with a loader & backhoe. The B series start at around $21K and stay around $2K lower that the equivalent L. I’m looking at the L as there are some attachments I’d like to get that would be too big for a compact tractor. I do like the smaller Kubota tractors. They are so good looking & so useful.
Good morning and thanks for the great info Karl! Excellent thinking to do some comparatives between the different models. Sounds like a good call on the L. Good luck and hope you are able to get it soon! Cheers!
GP Outdoors hi mate. Enjoy your spring on the farm. Here it’s autumn. I’m heading back to my farm very soon. We will hopefully be planting 300 macadamia trees.
Awesome video! You can do quite a lot with the 2601. My property is mostly wooded and what you were doing besides snow blowing is what I’ll be doing and a few other projects
Good stuff simpleton. I have to say, that to this day, I still regularly am surprised how much capacity these compact tractor have. Probably just my own pre-supposed opinions but they pack a punch. For a small property like my 4 acres, it does it's job, but for sure , if I had more property I would have looked at an L or M series. Cheers!
Ever consider a quick hitch for the 3 point? Thinking seriously about one now for the 2601. Love the little big tractor by the way. Perfect size for me and my tractor needs.
Joe is a pretty good fabricator. I started watching his videos recently too. Those tire chains on his Bolens are awesome. That plow he maid is pretty slick too.
Good day Lou! Yes, love his channel too. Have you watched the series on the homemade wood splitter machine he's made? Really inventive and really cool. He even ended up putting a seat and cupholder on the side! LOL. Love his stuff! Cheers!
I hope Kubota sees this and recognizes you for all the good exposure you’re providing on this model tractor. A+.
Thank you for the video. So nice to see a video where someone is actually showing instead of just talking. Very informative!
Thanks very much. I am happy you enjoyed it. Cheers!
You showed just about everything that I need a tractor for and that this little thing can get the job done. Thank you for showing it in different uses!
This is probably the best video i have found for the versatility of the Kubota Tractor. Well done!!
GP,
You were not kidding about how complicated the process is for a first time buyer.
I just purchased this tractor I'm just waiting for them to put front end loader and deliver it. Thank u for this video.
Just ordered a B2601 last week with a bachoe can’t wait till I use it in the woods ! Thanks for all your great videos! cheers!
Congratulations William! That's great. Hope you enjoy it. Let me know how it goes from time to time. Cheers!
Seems like the perfect Tractor for a country property. Thanks!
Great video. Very helpful. More helpful than any manufacturer (Kubota, MF, et al) video!
Great videos! Helped me decide on a B2601. Just picked one up a few weeks back. Couldn't be happier.
Congratulations Bob! Still really happy with mine. Enjoy the new tractor and thanks for watching! All the best!
Cheers John!
Thank you sir, showing what you do with this compact is what I needed to know for my purchase. Great video!
My weather isn't tractor conducive today. My B2601 sits in the garage and I come here to tractor vicariously through your video again.
LOL! We had snow here yesterday for several hours. Cheers and thanks very much Darrin!
so far we love the Kubota 3901L we got the package deal pull up hook trailer and roll..and now that we have it out here on our property we need more attachments ..like a rake ,,wood chipper for sure, we are heating with wood and i dont like the brush laying around..and the trailer that the Morgans got from RK with the dump thats on my list as well ,,love the videos, your doing a great job,,,i get exited about the projects around here now that need done and new tractor that starts every time you need it make you smile..
Thanks for posting this! I just ordered my B2601, two weeks to wait!
Did you mention the having fun and enjoying the day attachment? After a full and productive day, That tends to be my favorite. Great video BYW. Thanks.
LOL. Good morning Gerry! Yup, that's a big part for sure. And it has been. Always is when you hang out with Guy. Have a great weekend!
Fantastic video for someone who is considering buying a tractor I really appreciate such a well put together video.
Thanks very much Joe! Good luck with your decision!
Kubota should be paying you for this video tremendous job at showing the capabilities of the B2601
Why can't I put more than one thumbs up lol
Wow that was the greatest display of any and all attachments in the day & night at that.
I learned more about implements in this one video.
I wish I could afford the size that suits me and all of the attachments available and a metal building to store all the attachments ever made.
LOL! Thanks for the kind comments Rusty - I greatly appreciate it - happy you enjoyed the video. Cheers and all the best to you!
Thanks for another great video Gord. I know what you mean about being overwhelmed at the dealer. So much to chose from. You can't go wrong with Kubota, love their products.
Cheers John! Thanks so much. Happy you enjoy them!
Really enjoy the channel. Just got a b2601 myself. Actually being delivered today! Was looking into them when I found your channel. Glad we made the switch and look forward to the Kubota!
Congratulations JD! Pretty exciting day. Enjoy it and have fun with the tractor. Thanks for watching and the support. Cheers!
Seeing you do all this stuff with the tractor I couldn't imagine doing it without it lots of work
I picked up a used B3000 with cab, snow blower, rotary cutter, belly mower, rototiller, box scraper, trailer hitch lift, and loader and wonder what I ever did without it.
Really helpful, watched from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Cheers T44!
Great video. Having all those amazing attachments make that machine Unstoppable.
Enjoyed… I have a B2301….and I also am appreciative of the versatility…
Those compact tractors are looking perfect for my families 5 acres. 👌
Very good video. You not only provided great content, but you did so in a drama free manner that is very pleasant to watch. That's nice change of pace from most UT videos. Thanks!
Good day and thanks for the kind comments! I am happy you enjoyed it. And appreciate you watching it very much. Have a wonderful week!
You have more money in attachments than the tractor, good video, thanks
About to retire to my acreage and this video makes me look forward to it even more
Can’t really recall how I ended up here, but I am enjoying your channel!
It looks like you are having a lot of fun. Good for you.
Cheers Joe!
I have two projects done... but not yet edited!
Very great video!! Helps me a lot to confirm that'll by this tractor in the next months!
Wow!! Thanks for demonstrating instead of talking. We have less than 10 acres that needs work.
Fred.
LOL! Cheers my friend!
Just got a 2301 and Love it!!
Congratulations! Have fun out there and all the best!
Great Video, very informative.Never knew you could get so many empements on these tractors.
Hi GP,
I decided to watch this as I hadn't seen it before.
FANTASTIC VIDEO... THANK YO SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
never under estimate the compact tractor! enjoyed the video as always.
Hey good evening Dave! Great to hear from you. Hope everything is going ok and all the best! GP.
A+ I have a B2920 and it's a toy compared to my Case backhoe' but it does so many things I could not even think about with the
Case... Very kool video ///
Cheers and thanks for the thoughts and comments this morning Kevin. All the best!
Thanks for the great demo. It is really capable. Hmmm. Yes, Kubota should give you kudos for that demo as well.
Thanks Tina. LOL. Happy it was helpful. Cheers!
I would just get a ski- doo helmet, might look weird but would do the job. Some even have heaters in them. Cheers and awesome video
Great video! Thanks for posting.
I'm also debating between the B2602 and L2501 for my 25 acre property.
Awesome display of the capabilities. Thank you
I showed up with coffee in hand!
Thanks and all the best Neil!
great video! This helps me a ton. Thanks! Nice shots!
GP Outdoors Happy years to you and your family as well. Cheers!
Kioti are better value and heavier made. Kubota used to be like Kioti is today.
These little helpers are worth of every penny! They a versatile, and practically non destructible they're used right!
They sure are Ferenc! Cheers!
Nice, you have all of the attachments!
Nice demonstration of the capability of the tractor! Ive been watching for a while first time comment great channel and nice place enjoy watching keep the videos coming
Good morning and thanks Dan. Great to hear from you. Have a great weekend!
Thanks GP
Hey good stuff Ace! I'll check them out. Good luck with the B2650 - great tractor I think and good choice! Cheers!
Great video.....I’ve always used just horses, but that really helped me decide on a compact tractor!
Good stuff! Happy it was helpful. All the best!
You're friend from the Great Lakes,
Nate
Hey good day Nate! Yes, as big as you need but as you say, if you have the $$, then go big. In my case as you know, I wanted something with a small footprint for the forest. Guy and I joke here and there cause he has lots more power with the L but he can't get in where I can sometimes, so I always joke with him that the power doesn't help if you can't squeeze in to use it. LOL. Cheers my friend!
I have a bx and I’m surprised daily about how much of a workhorse it is, you just need to have realistic expectations. Thanks for the video
another informative video, I live on 5 acres with a nice mix of woods, yard and a small pond.
Thank you!
Hey good evening Scott. So happy it was helpful. If you have time, you may wish to watch video #29. Cheers and good luck!
Thanks! I am happy you liked it. Lots of good choices out there now - good luck with your search! Cheers!
Have you tried the backhoe that fits this tractor?
Great job "showing" your work. It answers quickly what to expect.
Cheers!
I was set on a larger tractor until I saw this. Nice work 👍
Wish I could post pictures here, but my B2601 will lift 275 gallon IBC totes filled to the last horizontal support (8 inches from the top) with green beech wood 4 feet off the ground.
Good day Dave! Great to hear it fits the bill for you too. She's a little powerhouse. Cheers and all the best!
Cheers!
You are right GP. It all depends on what you need but these class of tractor can be more then you think. Really enjoyed the video! Have a good one GP!
LOL. Cheers!
LOL! Good luck with that! Let me know if you figure how to do it. 😁
Great video. High quality and great content.
Thanks Tom!
Thanks TF! No, unfortunately not. LOL. Good luck and all the best to you
I completely agree with your assessments.
Cheers!
Great demo of your tractor. Loved the music. Seemed to fit perfectly for some reason.
Cheers Grumpy!
Can you tell us what attachments you have?
Apologies if this has been asked and you've answered but do you have a list of your attachments with model numbers? Like the plow at the 4:07 mark.
Take care!
great video thanks for sharing
LOL! Cheers and thanks so much. :))
You got all the neat toys !
Excellent, appreciate the variety of attachments, thanks
Thanks!
We have a B3300 with an LA504 loader. Day after day after day, the most dependable thing we've ever owned.
:)) That's great to hear. I am really happy with mine too. Have a great weekend!
Cheers!
Great video. Didn’t know they can do all that. Thanks!
Thanks Jas!
Cheers!
@@GPOutdoors I will have to watch the videos. I'm sure the build is a good one, considering his attention to detail. Cheers GP. :)
