@@TinoushGTR I'm so late but that's why I like 4wd and especially Subaru. When a RWD car is lost to oversteer and can't be caught back, 4wd oversteer is salvageable long after.
@@jokumukamikalie haha yep so late that i bought a gt-r again lol. Love it's corner exit. Back steps out a bit you take the corner and with a shake you have grip again. 😄
really nice car and even better driving...you never got in over your head, cool and composed and always gathered it back up if you misjudged things a little...smart driver. I can only guess how good it feels to do that. I have garden variety 09 wrx thats about the same power levels but the chassis is nowhere near as composed as yours is...and I am not the driver you are either. Thanks for showing me how it could be done with the car and opportunity and skills. straight to favorites. :)
Excellent, really enjoyed this ;) did a few laps in my V5 Type-R but drove like a granny since I also needed to get it back home.. still had fun and can’t wait to get back there!
tinoushgtr if you are talking about a standart opendeck block, it would need to not run over 1,5 bar and have at least arp studs and an upgraded headgasket. i have seen guys do it, and its bhp not whp :-)
philip1541 yeah i mean the opendeck. Thanks. I am searching for a good example gc8. It's hard to find one that doesn't cost an arm and leg. I sure do mis my gtr that i sold but it way wat to heavy
Nice drive! Hope you still have the car now... I also have a Type-R and upgraded to the 6 speed box and a few other bits.. Does this have a 6 speed? I've only done a few laps of the NBR but always fun!
I think it's very smart of you to wear a helmet while driving on the ring. I never understood why so many people push their cars to the limit on that track with no safety equipment on. It should be a requirement in my opinion.
I know this comment is 3 years old but for your education helmet + airbag = broken neck. Helmet is only a good idea when you include a harness + roll cage with an airbag delete.
Every high performance driving event I've been to requires at least a 95 rated racing helmet. I get what you're saying and there is definitely a chance of injury from the airbag but obviously it's still a better alternative to not wearing one.
Again, I'm not saying you can't get injured from an airbag while wearing a helmet. I'm just pointing out that driving schools across the USA all require you wear one no matter what car you own and they're the experts. I personally removed the airbags from my weekend car.
+riccardo irrgang thx mate. I think he has approximately the same amount of power but he is a better driver then me with a greater knowledge of the track :)
do you know how insane it is driving around in a bucket like that at those speeds? no rollcage, not even an airbag ffs. that car is stamped metal man come on... use your head, that engine will go straight through yur face!
Excellent management friend, I was terrified in the minute 3:55 but you knew how to solve it. Congratulations. good job.
Thank you, hehe year my right rear tyre just hit the curb and made the car slide :-)
philip1541 still it's way more easy to catching it back then a rwd car. My gtr was also awd and was very easy to control

@cameron170 - That's also true, but I find that tradeoff to easily be worth it.

Gc8 Subaru Impreza is one of my fav cars ever. Most excellent thrash round the ring!!! 👍👍
What an amazing driver and car and track!
Sweet driving and Subie!
Good driver, nice and smooth.
Thank you for your kind words
ncie lap time great driving
+GTMAN Thx man :)
Another great lap!! Sweet👍
Good one. But the Bm was good... I have a classic gf and now the Nordschleife. At the Karussell it is time to look for the Bm...
I wonder what engine was in that e36. I mean 1200kg and 340hp is very fast but not fast enough to keep up with that beamer
These guys live down there, build and use those cars only for driving on the ring. Its maybee hard to see in the video but he was a very good driver
philip1541 yeah for sure. I was payin attention in straight line difference and his car was faster. It might have an m5 engine in it. Or m3 v8
philip1541 buy the way a gc8 gt engine won't make 340hp right?

great driving, barz
+Caseman Abbott Thank you :)
Speedo goes around back 2 zero and Im thinking wow this is the fastest car ever! Then a Gt3 floats past doing 350
I was thinking the same😂😂😂
Bro nice driving but not at the limit
nice driving m8. car sounds good, what exhaust?
nice car and driving man, but why is that E36 BMW faster than your STI? was it an M3?
+riccardo irrgang thx mate. I think he has approximately the same amount of power but he is a better driver then me with a greater knowledge of the track :)
What did you get flat out on the long straight at the end ? Looking at buying one of these shortly
The top speed is 240 kph on the GPS at 8k rpm, i keep it below 7k rpm on the straits. @ 1:44 you can see the needle is almost back at zero
3:55 made me nervous
what did you use for boost management and remap?
HKS evc5 and VEMS ECU
power japan
👌
How are the mintex m1155 pads holding?
They are great, have not had any problems with them at all, same quality as endless and ds2500 :-) but half the price
