    The Kente cloth is not only worn by Asante Kings. Every Ghanaian tribe has its own Kente design and weaving pattern. The Ewe kente pattern is what has been corrupted into the striped fabric known as a ‘Jewish cloth’, like the one Moses was wrapped in when he was left floating on the river as told in the Bible story.
    The Ga tribe as well as the Northern tribes also have their kente cloth and patterns.
    The kente fabric also emanates the Hebrew ethnicity hidden within our tribal history.

    • @Got2Go
      @Got2Go  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      subhadeep bhowmick for the Africa videos I used mainly my iPhone and go pro on helmet (I filmed as well in wrong quality and wrong format, that’s why some of the videos are so bad). At the Kente factory I took as well some shots with my real camera, a song alpha, you might recognize the much better quality for those shots if you look close. For the future there will be much more filming with the proper camera!

    Hey Lea, just watch out when you get to the borders that the Authorities notice that you are filming them! if you get caught its a good reason to ask for a bribe and to intimidate you, love your clips tho, all the best in your future rides...

    • @Got2Go
      @Got2Go  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Denis Gastellier mostly i am actually not filming actively - I just have the GoPro on and don’t stop it too often. It happened many times that someone saw the red blinking (i don’t cover that like many others do, that would be too sneaky for me 😂). I often as well forget it myself and leave it just on. then I have an hour of a still imagine while I am eating lunch or so 🤦🏻‍♀️). Was told many times to switch it off, but never asked for any bribes or intimidated. Often the opposite, asked to show the videos and take another picture (in some of the earlier videos you can see these situations).

    Internet, If you like to read about great motorcycle adventures, check out 2 books from Lois Pryce, an Englishwoman who rode solo from London to South Africa on Yamaha XT250 some years back and before that from Alaska to Tierra de Fuego solo on a smaller Yamaha . Good video interview of her riding life on youtube.

      My book about my solo motorcyle journey around the world (that has already been pubslihed in germany a while ago) will be out too this fall. ;)
      I have to admit though that I highly dislike this comparison of people's journeys these days - lois is great, but she does her and I do me. There is no need to compare, we all have the same passion, and there is no better journey or better traveler. If you don't like my channel you can feel very free to just stay away from here - but don't advertise other peoples content with putting mine down. My channel, my rules. ;)
