Swedish] use the word "paragraph" exclusively to refer to a section of a document (especially of legal text), and use other words to describe a paragraph in the English sense. Consequently, in those cases "§" may be read as "paragraph"
I wasn't very surprised about the growls , Mikael had said before that growls are the most intense way to express a feeling in a song and if the song calls for it, the song would have it. And now the band feels like they have there place again. Much respect for the band for not just going with the rest of the sheep and following there journey.

The great come back of the growls is unbelievable! I'm sure this album will be a freaking nice surprise, as a huge Opeth fan I have high expectations! Opeth was, is and will be always the best band in the world.
This song brings me back. For 20 years, Opeth was my favorite band. When they went full prog, I still liked their music, but it lost what Opeth meant to me. Their epic blend of clean and growls went missing. This song will draw many from the early days, who faded with only clean vocals, back. I'm seeing them next month for the 10th time, a few days after the release of the album. The new drummer is sick!
The § is called the section sign and is often used to represent a section in legal documents. We know this is a concept album, so I'm assuming the song is literally the called "The First Section" as in the first paragraph of the father's last will and testament. In the album we'll probably journey through the fathers writings as he reveals the family secrets.
