I have had cramps in my right calf recently and earlier today I thought about "wonder if Adriene has a video for that?" I SWEAR this woman can read my mind!
I love how even when it’s a “focused” body part practice it still encompasses full body awareness and has full body impact! It’s all connected baby! Thank you Adriene always!!
I started my Yoga Journey with Adriene when I turned 50 yrs, now 54 and a half. It was a late start but hey never too old to try something new. I practice daily morning to begin my day with a full body stretch of 15 mins and evening 20-30 mins for the whole body and feet and have not missed a practice. The practices just keep getting better and seem so easy now that I have been practicing for 4 years. I find my wrists hurt but i know when to stop and rotate to take the pressure off. This is going to me my daily practice for the next week. Thank you Adriene for this beautiful practice as my calves need much love daily. Much Love from Australia.

I started this practice in tears and feeling very heavy. I actually wasn’t sure if I should start while crying. But I did and it helped me feel not as alone when Adriene came on the screen. I ended it feeling a lot lighter than when I started. That’s why I love yoga. Thank you Adriene!

I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for a decade now and have a new flare up since May. I've been doing this video almost every day since it came out and it has helped my recovery tremendously! Thank you Adriene!
Someone triggered me yesterday but I'm so proud of myself for staying calm and not giving in to the impulsive reaction which would have been to blow up at them the way they wanted to. They wanted me to feel those same negative and disgusting emotions they were feeling but I did not let them in past my peaceful shield. I stood my ground and protected my peace. I was still anxious afterwards but some alternate nostral breathing did me some good and this practice felt really good as well. I am in control. I can't control other people but I can try to control the way I react to them and yesterday I did it. I'm really proud of myself for not falling back into my old traumatic patterns. Thank you Adriene. Also today I did something that I had been putting off for a long time and I'm proud of that as well. I'm slowly paving the way down my own happy path. Namaste everyone. 💜
I just had a massage. I mentioned to the therapist that I am experiencing a plantar fasciitis flare. She noted that my calves are tight and worked her magic. She encouraged me to work on stretching my calves, so I looked to see if Adriene had one for calves and found this gem. Instant addition to my fav list. THANK YOU, ADRIENE!

I work as a cabin crew and my constantly tired legs and calves went from "crying out loud couch." to "Oh dearie, this is the best Yoga mat time I could ever ask for." Oh wow, the calves are known as the second heart?! I didn't know that. But it makes total sense. Similar to how they say in kundalini yoga that the arms are an extension of the heart. Thank you for shining your beautiful light so brightly, dear Adriene. 💛✨

Love this practice! It was designed with the calves in mind but I find it to be fantastic for stretching out my back as well. I deal with chronic back pain and never know how the day will greet me. This one hits many of the hot buttons. Thank you for these types of sessions!
Just what I needed -- I've been having a lot of tension in my calves due to standing on my feet for several hours each day at work. I've also been trying to get back into a more consistent workout regimen because I always feel so much better after moving my body with intention. This was great for my calves, but also my arms -- wild thing had me shaking like a leaf! So good to get this session in before I go to work today. Thank you, Adriene!

I sprained my ankle pretty bad while climbing a few weeks ago and am slowly getting back to yoga. In just a few weeks of not using it, the calf muscles in my right leg got sooo weak and stiff. This was perfect and so helpful, thank you🩷

Great practice Adriene. 👍 I did struggle quite a lot today, it's hot here in the UK, and my Fibromyalgia is acting up this morning. (It really doesn't like the temperature changes.) So I had to pause the video quite a few times, to breathe, and switch my fan on so, I had air to breathe. But all in all I really enjoyed this practice. It's funny I'm sure at times you can read my mind, because I went to London last week, and did lots of walking. My calves, and other parts of my leg, have been complaining ever since, and today you bring this practice to me. It's so funny when that happens. Thank you so much Adriene, and Benji. I noticed my inner chatter suggested taking time away from my daily practice. I also noticed how I counter acted that with a loving knowing that that was my que that things are changing, and to stick with it. Change is scary and our minds will do their best to protect us through it. However, if it were really meant to change, as in stopping daily practice, it already would have happened naturally. There wouldn't be this inner chatter. Keep going YWA fam. We got this! ❤
Whenever i do a run on the treadmill, a home workout, or a long walk in uncomfortable shoes, my calves are so tight and sore the next day - this practice will be one to return to time and time again! 🧡
Get To Know, June 4, 2024. Just when I thought I was building strength I am quickly humbled with extensive use of the guns in tabletop and plank variations. Arms were tested today that's for sure. My first light attempt at wild thing. Never even bothered contemplating it last year while dabbling in the toe dip back into yoga. But today I gave it a go. It was a better start than I expected. That one is a turtle race for me. But happy with the beginnings of something I considered difficult. Namaste 💙

Thank you Adriene, that was hard, only because I keep losing my continuity with every day yoga with you. I am having to work twice as hard to be able to sustain myself holding the plank , wild thing pose etc. I do babysitting for my precious grandchildren an absolute joy, then I have get to fit in my yoga regime, hence I miss a week sometimes of classes. I am just now getting back into Yoga to work on my fitness and wellbeing overall. The first video I found was from Adriene and oh my gosh I just love her. She knows her stuff and is a pleasure to watch, she makes me laugh and I love her overall vibe. I found a true gem on TH-cam and now I don’t watch anybody else :)
I did this practice in the airport hotel in Delhi, en route to Nepal for a family visit. This was the perfect practice after a 15 hour flight and a decent hotel sleep. Definitely recommend this after air travel. Thanks always!
Ended this practice feeling so joyful. I've been doing 2 days of yoga as part of cross training for a half marathon so it was great to find this on the Delight schedule for today! :-)
You always seem to know what I need in the moment. I have been dancing a lot on raves lately (sober, I don't drink alcohol) and one rave I was at last weekend was at the top of a mountain, so had to walk up there in addition to all the dancing. My calves have been sore the past few days. I am currently on my 5th day of a water fast and this routine was perfect right now. I feel great!
The synchronicity I have with you and Be Ji is pure SERENDIPITY...just two days ago @ now age 55 ...WHAT 😅...cannot wrap my head around it....was lovingly looking at my calves, rubbing them and thinking 🤔 how they have always been a firm , shapely, strong body part , no matter how far I have wondered off the movement path. since falling down my stairs 6 years ago I've had plantar fasciitis in one or both feet and my left calf has been tight for soooo long - so it's lovely to be able to give my legs some love (1st time ever)! Lovely practise - lovely new digs too Adriene! Thank you x

thank you so much!! i currently have been struggling with the pain of achilles tendintis and plantar fascitis. my podiatrist told me that i can only do slight stretches in my calf. Thank you so much. this helped me a ton without forcing too much and I feel way more body awareness

I loved the start of this it felt like a wonderful stretch, but it was tough on my wrists which surprised me as I really felt that I had got light on them the last couple of months. I fell over on the first wild thing but was ok on the second side. Definitely saving this one to try again 😊

Since I've gotten into movement recently, a new passion that has started with watching your videos and fuelled by having started running, I've noticed what feel like new dimensions to my breath? Like when I run, i can hear deeper harmonics of more space that has been unlocked, down through spine. I definitely attribute this to yoga; I do feel as though I sit up a little taller every time I start a session with you, from previous work. Does anyone else relate to this concept of more space to breathe unlocked in the body?

I injured my tendon this week and yoga for the feet really helped, but my calves still hurt so I was looking for yoga for calves and Adriene just uploaded this. The magic of Adriene and yoga ❤❤❤ Thank you for being the best yoga teacher.

I am just now getting back into Yoga to work on my fitness and wellbeing overall. The first video I found was from Adriene and oh my gosh I just love her. She knows her stuff and is a pleasure to watch, she makes me laugh and I love her overall vibe. I found a true gem on TH-cam and now I don’t watch anybody else :)

I did this practice in the airport hotel in Delhi, en route to Nepal for a family visit. This was the perfect practice after a 15 hour flight and a decent hotel sleep. Definitely recommend this after air travel. Thanks always!
Ended this practice feeling so joyful. I've been doing 2 days of yoga as part of cross training for a half marathon so it was great to find this on the Delight schedule for today! :-)
You always seem to know what I need in the moment. I have been dancing a lot on raves lately (sober, I don't drink alcohol) and one rave I was at last weekend was at the top of a mountain, so had to walk up there in addition to all the dancing. My calves have been sore the past few days. I am currently on my 5th day of a water fast and this routine was perfect right now. I feel great!

The synchronicity I have with you and Be Ji is pure SERENDIPITY...just two days ago @ now age 55 ...WHAT 😅...cannot wrap my head around it....was lovingly looking at my calves, rubbing them and thinking 🤔 how they have always been a firm , shapely, strong body part , no matter how far I have wondered off the movement path. Said to hubby ...." I wonder when Adriene will give us a practice for calves....mine have lost muscle tone as I age ?" Boom 💥 I get your email today. since falling down my stairs 6 years ago I've had plantar fasciitis in one or both feet and my left calf has been tight for soooo long - so it's lovely to be able to give my legs some love (1st time ever)! Lovely practise - lovely new digs too Adriene! Thank you x

thank you so much!! i currently have been struggling with the pain of achilles tendintis and plantar fascitis. my podiatrist told me that i can only do slight stretches in my calf. Thank you so much. this helped me a ton without forcing too much and I feel way more body awareness

I’ve been experiencing calf cramps while swimming this summer and it just dawned on me that I saw this yoga session you posted a while ago and finally did it this morning. Hopefully it’ll help and it was really a wonderful well rounded session. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
I loved the start of this it felt like a wonderful stretch, but it was tough on my wrists which surprised me as I really felt that I had got light on them the last couple of months. I fell over on the first wild thing but was ok on the second side. Definitely saving this one to try again 😊

Since I've gotten into movement recently, a new passion that has started with watching your videos and fuelled by having started running, I've noticed what feel like new dimensions to my breath? Like when I run, i can hear deeper harmonics of more space that has been unlocked, down through spine. I definitely attribute this to yoga; I do feel as though I sit up a little taller every time I start a session with you, from previous work. Does anyone else relate to this concept of more space to breathe unlocked in the body?
My body is grateful for sharing this practice with you. This felt amazing
