yep came on here to compare notes. I had to leave work early couple hours yesterday. I sweat out on workout in sauna suit Sunday.. worked out with out the suit but sweat a lot Tuesday night... coming home from workout got dizzy spells. was drinking water but I do tend to get busy at work during the day and forget to then drinking up lots of water after 5pm until bedtime. .. Wed. I woke up muscle weakness-burning up sweating and light headed... through the day went to freezing cold and went home. rested.. I notice could not get enough water and on blood pressure med. My heart was rapid beating through the day too... So I guess my lesson is I need more than water if sweating out a lot. Also drink more water through the day instead of trying to get it all in at night then up all night running to bathroom... Just you get so busy and you don't think of the simple things with the hustle bustle of the day. Thank you for this Video and enjoy your other info. vids.

I recently got dehydrated and it was so scary!! Felt like a heart attack and called 911. The pain started in my back and radiated to the front. Felt faint, shaky and wanted to throw up. Chest pain was horrible. All my vitals were normal. After the EMTs left, I fixed myself an Oral Rehydration Therapy. 5 cups water, 1 Tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of baking soda. This drink was used to save the lives of children in Africa. It saved my Mom's life once when she got sick. When I took her to Urgent Care, the doctor said I had saved her life and wanted to know what I had given her. (I am not over it yet. Still drinking lots of water, a pinch of Celtic salt. Getting headaches too. I'm in the heat wave in Arizona so I'm being extra careful now.)
You are my God sent. I have problems with altitudes. I can't go over 4000 ft. I was told I could be dehydrated. Well water has not been enough. I am going to try this. I also purchased your Bone broth protein at sprouts. I'm going to Las Vegas in June. I will make sure I have my juices, coco water and broth. Thank you so much for the info
I had a 95% of my colon amputated after spending 3 months in the hospital with sepsis shock. Three surgeries that were performed when one major surgery should have been performed. Due to this I was left with large amounts of scar tissue and adhesions. Making digestion extremely painful. My body even though I drink a gallon of electrolyte drink it still cannot absorb enough fluid and I become dehydrated. Muscle ache, pain. Fainting and dizziness. Headache, chest pain. Total weakness. Inability to concentrate, easily confused. The only thing that helps me is an IV infusion of the nutrients I cannot absorb that creates the dehydration. I live in a small town with poor health care. My Dr. made a plan that when my dehydration occurs get to the clinic for an infusion. Now he has changed his mind I have been terribly sick for the las three days. I have even had two days of angina so bad I have taken five nitroglycerin. What a life if dehydration is like for me😥
Praying for you! I’ve only lost about a foot of my small intestine and I suffer from the scar tissue at the anastomosis area. I’m on Stelara for my so called Crohn’s…. Which I don’t believe.
Dehydration can also cause mood swings in people such as myself. It is interesting and sad to know most of us are dehydrated. 1) decreased urination 2) muscle weakness 3) dizziness 4) rapid heartbeat 💓
Totally agree also parsley juice and 100% pure unsweetened cranberry is good to help by relieving UTI (Not the cocktail type that are full of sugars). Probiotics help too!

Had spells where I feel wiped out.Never drank much,3-4 glasses a day but because of heart problems drs put me on diurectics even those I never had edema.Just had diagnose for CHF,was put on Lasix,Spiralactone and losatan.Completely locked up my bowels. Also was eating alot of fiber. They finally put my lasix to PRN.But still had problems.Figured it was dehydration, lowered my fiber and upped my fluid to 5-6 glasses, feeling better.
I love celery and cucumber! I love celery with peanut butter and cucumber, onion, black pepper, and vinegar! Pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew melons are great hydrating foods too.

I lost a significant amount of water and felt these symptoms: stopped urinating, headaches, dull pressure on kidneys, severe muscle weakness, feelings of sudden doom and gloom, zero energy, crying all the time, severe brain fog, depression, severe thirst, insomnia, anxiety, no appetite, nausea when drinking water, feeling chills, blocked ear, cellulite, heart pounding, constipation, dark under eyes, pain when bending muscles, white tongue. It's not funny at all and takes months and MONTHS to correct and you will experience a million symptoms. Not fixable in a week like they say.

I was so dehydrated from drinking coffee and not much water that my blood pressure elevated to 184/127, I felt tired weak and I had anxiety from only drinking 1/2 bottles of water, I then upped my water intake to 5/6 16oz bottles of water with oranges, grapefruit and watermelon now my blood pressure has dropped to 119/70 I was amazed to know it was cause I had little to no water really but lots of coffee.....doctors wanted to put me on meds which I did take for a week but once I rehydrated I got off the meds
I drank alot of water without celtic salt/ redmans and ended up in hospital throwing up and dehydrated ! I am sipping water now with 1/2 tsp per litre. I drink 2 Litres of water with redmans salt 1/2 tsp per litre throughout every day based on 63 kg weight. My skin is changing from 3 layer deep alligator texture to 1 layer dryish, after 15 days , sipping the right amount of water (2 Litres) with proper salt- not table salt.
I have always had this problem, even now I know to drink water, but I get busy and forget. I have had a dr and nutritionist and acupuncturist tell me I need more protein, but I know it’s water. I get plenty of protein.
I got into cycling in the last few years and found that if I don’t get enough water it messes with the pressure balance in my ears. I thought the issue was because of the hills but it got to the point where I was having issues just walking around my house with no elevation changes.
I mix coconut water with turmuric and stevia. I use coconut water powder, but I prefer the real thing. I am limited in money, so I do what I can. I hate drinking water. It makes me want to vomit, unless I am really thirsty. I need flavor in it.
I had BII and the symptoms are similar. My kidneys and liver were shutting down and whenever I would drink water it would just come right back out. I was severely dehydrated 24/7 it was awful
Oh… 1. More Very Important issue; Being dehydrated also causes your blood to be Thick, while at the same time lead to hardening of the arteries (no proper consistency in moisture… no flexibility), a bad combination which could eventually lead to ‘Blood Clot’ issues, strokes and even heart attacks. Drinking (daily) water, helps to naturally Thin the blood and help maintain the normal flexibility of your arteries, veins and vessels… better preventing these dangerous issues.
Hi doctor I have been looking on TH-cam for the longest time to see if I could find my problem but after looking at this video I finally realized I am diagnosed I am a post woman so it makes sense but what about the dehydrated salts because I also have gas problem

I recently had what I believed to be stomach flu or novovirus what its called. I haven't been feeling the same the brain fog was the worst I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. I drank some electrolyte water and started feeling a little better and then I noticed everything started tasting like salt and I was getting leg cramps. I also noticed one of my really bad headaches dissipated after I had chicken with broth. I have been drinking so much water lately and it still doesn't feel like enough. I bought some fruits help too.
Sherri Guzman I think that's why my 2 attempts at BFing were so horrible- I was dehydrated and didn't realize it. The kids were not getting hardly anything. As soon as I switched to formula they thrived.
I tko’ed myself today at taekwondo 🥋 during training, I didn’t have water for 1 hour of training. At the end I had horrible head aches and I was dizzy/lightheaded, also my vision was all weird and blurry like bright yellow (from the lights), and black-ish stuff. I had a few sips or water and had a seat and my vision slowly came back but my headache is still really bad 🤕:(
I am experiencing a lot of these symptoms the last week.. I've been without a car awhile and forced to walk a lot more than usual. The last 6weeks muscles have tighten up in my neck down the left side of leg. The last two days lack of appetite.. dry mouth and lips the last 4 days. I drink water mainly.. but my job doesn't allow me to stop and drink often, I'm constantly going and going. Do you think I may need to be seen? My head aches come and go but I feel like this should of passed by now.. especially my neck/back pain.
Even with bone broth, ginger, aloe, supplements, etc - things helps. And what about the muscle cramps in the calves and feet. Every night!!! Muscle cramps are a huge sign!
I experienced muscle weakness, almost completely lost my voice and when I tried to sing the tones were completely off. I had hot flashes, and lethargy, too, all withinh a few hours. This mix of symptoms hit me last night and it was shocking. Someone asked me a question and my voice was barely audible. I tried to speak louder but could not.
I had all these symptoms for months I use to go for jogging but had really taken less water.. I thought I had some other problems.. and later after about 6 to 7 months of jogging I had faced sudden hairloss my scalp felt soo rough and had severe dandruff .. at this point I was soo depressed as I had the most strongest hair in my family.. not understanding the root cause.. yeah I know I stupid.. later I noticed that even my pubic, legs, arms and elsewhere hair isn't growing its literally taking several weeks to grow a bit and als I was loosing a lot of hair on my beard. It's the 8th month .. now I'm drinking a lot of water... My question is will I recover and how soon? Thanks
Night leg cramps for me occasionally and then it turned to unquenchable thirst after eating too many salty foods and probably losing electrolytes after being in the heat.
Not drinking enough water has caused me skin dermatitis, urinary tract infection, extreme fatigue. Also early menopause due to a hysterectomy and my body is out of whack. Muscle pain, alot of Charlie Horses in my leg due to lack of water
I have all these symptoms! I ended up in the ER with a migraine from hell. I was severely dehydrated. But I drink water all the time. Why can't I stay hydrated? I take supplements and eat well and workout.
You need electrolytes to make the water go into the cells instead of urinating the water directly out of the body. I am currenlly using a product called "Healthy Salts" which have a lot of electrolytes and good pH for the body.. A little expensive but 1 container lasts 6 months to a year.
I eat lots of fruit and vegetables I am also a mid to long distance runner. I find myself pounding water, but I also bought Nuun electrolyte tablets to put in my water before I run. I know they are not natural, so I would like to know if this is something I should be using. I have to say that using them, I feel great after and during work outs and feel I stay hydrated, but I'm cautious when using things that are naturally created.
electrolytes are just salts that your body needs. You can put a tiny pinch or few granules of celtic sea salt or dead sea salt into water and get the same effect as gatorade or electrolyte tablets. You just sweated out the salt, you're putting it back in. :)
Hello, Dr. Axe. What do you think of this electrolyte drink called Pocari Sweat? I love drinking it but I want to make sure this is safe and good for the body. Thank you.
I got a blood result of 5.0 in albumin, and I’ve been feeling very dizzy, weak and headaches. Don’t know how to improve this. I’ve been trying to let my doctor know because it’s not going away, I dislike it very much.
Dr. Josh Axe, I do have some concerns about what you start to say at about "1:15," though. There is such a thing as too much urination, which itself can lead to dehydration & which can signal that there is too much sugar in the body that the body is trying to get rid of by increasing the urge to urinate.

You forgot the biggest sign and that's fatigue. Water/hydration gives you energy that lasts.
+ Dr. Josh Axe As a heavy coffee drinker 2-3 cups caffeinated and 2-3 decaffeinated the Urination isn't accurate as the diuretic affect will cause many "pit stops" and next thing you know a dull headache appears. My rule of thumb 2 "pit stops" 1 glass of water. I developed Vertigo which, for me, was my attention alert for hydration (that and spondylosis). PS. When my kids complain of a headache first they must drink a full glass of water quickly and give it 10 minutes before any medications. Great information and of course I'm a subscriber.

I mix coconut water with turmuric and stevia. I use coconut water powder, but I prefer the real thing. I am limited in money, so I do what I can. I hate drinking water. It makes me want to vomit, unless I am really thirsty. I need flavor in it.
Cold feet and hands when dehydrated
I had BII and the symptoms are similar.
My kidneys and liver were shutting down and whenever I would drink water it would just come right back out.
I was severely dehydrated 24/7 it was awful
what is BII
Cindy Cox breast implant illness
Bll?
It’s Breast Implant Illness!
True Nopal Cactus water is an excellent hydrater and full of minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, etc.
Hi doctor I have been looking on TH-cam for the longest time to see if I could find my problem but after looking at this video I finally realized I am diagnosed I am a post woman so it makes sense but what about the dehydrated salts because I also have gas problem

Can you please do a segment on fibromyalia. Thanks
Fibromyalgia?
I wonder if the plastic water bottles or chlorine has anything to do with it?
I think I need cal mag zinc.
They said I didnt have diabetes but my mouth is so dried out. I may need probiotics. Tgey had me taking so many antibiotics all my life and never o ce told me to replenish them.

Maybe sodium...the soup
you forgot to mention nursing mothers. I battle dehydration constantly while nursing my babies.
Sherri Guzman I think that's why my 2 attempts at BFing were so horrible- I was dehydrated and didn't realize it. The kids were not getting hardly anything. As soon as I switched to formula they thrived.
Yes! I am battling dehydration from it - baby is now 14 months old I’m crazy dehydrated trying to fix it
Beautiful!!! I learned something new today !
I love drinking Zico coconut water. Great electrolytes
It defiantly causes anxiety
bone broth helped me, apricots , ginger , green smoothies
Even with bone broth, ginger, aloe, supplements, etc - things helps. And what about the muscle cramps in the calves and feet. Every night!!! Muscle cramps are a huge sign!
tap water may not have the correct minerals in it. Chlorine and flouride affect these.
Ive been very fatigued for months, with terrible brain fog and confusion. I hope its just dehydration and not diabetes
Excellent
We are all HEALING the Planet as we>>> HEAL OURSELVES 1st

Excessive Alcohol consumption is a BIG one for dehydration problems
Thanks
Folks with high blood pressure also. There for drink green tea, water and no soda.
How about cramping. It's a dehydration symptom
Night leg cramps for me occasionally and then it turned to unquenchable thirst after eating too many salty foods and probably losing electrolytes after being in the heat.
I make sure I take my supplements, especially zinc, magnesium and potassium.
@@shortperson781 is potassium safe to take as a supplement? I heard it can cause palpitations if in excess
Drinking water with meals instead of sodas, juice or coffee is an easy way to get more water without having to remind yourself.
Not drinking enough water has caused me skin dermatitis, urinary tract infection, extreme fatigue. Also early menopause due to a hysterectomy and my body is out of whack. Muscle pain, alot of Charlie Horses in my leg due to lack of water
I'm so sorry to hear about that. Was it the UTIs that lead to the hysterectomy?
I have all these symptoms! I ended up in the ER with a migraine from hell. I was severely dehydrated. But I drink water all the time. Why can't I stay hydrated? I take supplements and eat well and workout.
You need electrolytes to make the water go into the cells instead of urinating the water directly out of the body. I am currenlly using a product called "Healthy Salts" which have a lot of electrolytes and good pH for the body.. A little expensive but 1 container lasts 6 months to a year.
Salt is important
You said you are a long distance runner- that’s so cool - also I’ve heard that cross training is really good
Kaeli Nicole I use those same electrolyte tabs
Double vision, that’s the main symptom I’m having.
You mean eye floaters?
I am at a higher altitude so I am experiencing Dehydration
I get migraines from dehydrated.
Hello, Dr. Axe. What do you think of this electrolyte drink called Pocari Sweat? I love drinking it but I want to make sure this is safe and good for the body. Thank you.
I get all these symptoms before a sickle cell crisis.
Ohh no really? How and when did you find out you had that?
I got a blood result of 5.0 in albumin, and I’ve been feeling very dizzy, weak and headaches. Don’t know how to improve this. I’ve been trying to let my doctor know because it’s not going away, I dislike it very much.
I had no idea the decreased urination and heartbeat.....
Dr. Josh Axe, I do have some concerns about what you start to say at about "1:15," though. There is such a thing as too much urination, which itself can lead to dehydration & which can signal that there is too much sugar in the body that the body is trying to get rid of by increasing the urge to urinate.
I had the feeling of an impinged nerve caused sections of my left arm to go numb
Water mellon is a diuretic. My midwife had me eat it when my feet started getting puffy while i was pregnant.
Dry eyes and Dry lips are also sign of dehydration!
